Provider does not take private insurance and we are not currently on Medicare or medicaid. He told me that since I was a veteran of the U S Army to contact the VA and they had programs that would cover my wife's treatment. When I spoke with the VA social worker I was informed that this was incorrect. That only applies to the veteran, not to their spouse. I never used this provider. They charge $[removed] per hour and I cannot afford that out of pocket.

First of all, How can seniors help seniors when they want so much money for their services. We are 81 & 82 years old. On Medicare. We worked all our lives… 80 yrs total. And my husband needs care, he’s almost blind now and can barely walk. I need help taking care of him and my house. I have physical problems too. I can’t do it anymore. Where are all these wonderful agencies that claim to help the elderly. Where are they?

There is too much to write about this poorly run company. I tried to get it all in the message but being restricted to 1000 words would not cover all the manipulated deceitful ways this business was operated. I would never entrust the care of any family member with this company. Very Unreliable !! You want all the reasons, you will need to call me.

THE OWNER APPEARS CARING IN THE BEGINNING, BUT THE SERVICE SHE PROVIDES IS BARE MINIMUM. LIES ABOUT HAVING AIDES AVALAIBLE THEN WHEN SCHEDULED NO AIDE SHOWS UP AND THE OWNER WILL IGNORE YOUR CONCERNS AND STILL BILL YOUR MEDICAID

I do not recommend this agency. I tried three of their caregivers. Two were so unprofessional and one was actually a liability to have in my home due to her own fall risk.. it’s obvious that they do not fully communicate and educate their caregivers with standards that they should have coming into peoples homes..

I have had some interaction with this agency and the owners lack professionalism. They don't come on time for anything but require the check to come on time. Their choice of words, how they treat their workers according to the caregivers who worked in my home were horrible. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Horrible i will never use there service again They came late didn't do the job was supposed to do. They didn't show up or get a back up person. We had to leave our vacation early no one was there for my parents. Very sad.

I was assigned this transport company through my health insurance for a trip to my physician's office. Firstly, they arrived 50 minutes late to pick me up. And then took me to the wrong location. I try to explain to the driver, however, she did not speak English, that that was the incorrect address. They had taken me to celebration road instead of celebration place. She repeatedly told me to get out of the car as I try to explain to her that I needed to get to the correct address for my appointment. She even got out of the car and came and opened my door and again told me to get out. I told her I was calling mendez transport to try and figure out what we could do in that situation but she proceeded to call 911 on me and request the police to come to the location. Luckily, I am able bodied and of sound mine to figure out what was going on, but imagine if it was an elderly person and she put them out of the vehicle. I ended up having to uber to my late appointment.

I would check how well they cleaned. My countertops felt like sugar was still around the coffee area or floor swept but not wet mopped...it was not right one girl wanted more hours. She barely did anything. Sent new workers I'm not getting paid to train their workers...worker picked & chose what they wanted to clean I was in the business of cleaning homes & did home care work...I needed help I had surgery with rotator cuff unable to move for ,6 weeks I'm still in therapy

Bottom line. Sorry I used them. Sent unskilled worker. Poor work ethics. After I paid. Cannot get receipt/bill after 3 calls. [fee removed] an hour waisted.

After an exhaustive evaluation we picked Whole Life because they were family owned and appeared to be able to provide the services advertised. However, after approval of [name removed] ins. claim, and after several previous assertions they could staff the position, all of a sudden claimed they couldn't find a person willing to drive the distance to the job. This was done at the last minute and came as a complete surprise. Even though they did refer us to their competitor BrightStar, I cannot help but feel they were somewhat disingenuous in the way they represented their capabilities.

I highly recommend Cornerstone Care for in home care. If I have a question they get back to me immediately. The care my husband receives is outstanding. You will find the caregivers to be friendly and professional.

They failed to deliver what was in the care plan. The care provider who was promised was double booked and unable to meet the needs of our parents. They arbitrarily changed the arrival times without notice. They also invoiced in advance with the promise of adjusting the charges if things changed. I never received an invoice after multiple requests and request for refund was also denied. Multiple requests for the director to contact me, went unanswered. The poor person in the middle had no authority to do the right thing. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The last three weeks they have canceled my home health aid. Also they double charged me for living while I was on vacation although the live-in was great and did what she was supposed to do. Space not having much luck getting the home health aid to show up.

Although the owner seems to be a nice person, the fact that he had to beg his aides to work was problematic from the beginning. I was asked if we could use an aide 40 hours a week but no one was available on Saturdays. The last aide he sent did not have the capacity to work with an Alzheimer’s patient who is still somewhat independent. She was rude to me and complained about my mother. She also complained to the owner but I didn’t find that out until I fired them as an agency.

We tried Kore Cares to help my dad at home. They made a lot of great sounding promises but then never followed through with them. They cancelled a lot of shifts and some of the helpers did not want to do anything helpful. They are also owned by Avera but claim to be a small locally owned business.

The care givers sent varied . Some were great others not so much. Some did not speak English. Cpmpany takes initial deposit which I was told would be returned at end of service. That did not happen and I had to hire an attorney. Issue is not yet settled.

Do not send your loved ones here. Attempted to understand how they can give a 72yr old with memory issues a 3 days notice to vacate on a weekend. Tell them they are not allowed to use the phone to try and resolve the issue. Awful to the tenets. Absolutely unacceptable disgusting behavior from staff.

My experience with Home Instead Belton was not the best. I asked over and over to send the SAME caregiver as a person with dementia becomes easily confused with change. There was 8 different caregivers. Out of the 8 csregivers 2 were such wonderful ladies and poured their heart into the care they gave. This office doesn't reach out when a client passses away They are VERY inconsiderate and inconsistent. Choose wisely

Since day one [name removed] the director has played games with my life, and my families life. Lie after lie, not understanding or knowing the caregiver side of business, yet running one. It's been a disaster. Thankfully they hired someone that was amazing, but all along have put my CNA, myself, my lawyer, my case nurse, homelink, my insurance and my POA through literal hell! Telling us one thing on the phone or having the owner [name removed], who knows nothing at all about Care, get on the phone and degrade me, belittle, and bully me. The only reason I was given anxiety meds was because when I would deal with them my heart rate would sky rocket, blood pressure was unreasonably high, so the medication i NEVER wanted to take in my life was prescribed so that I could be numb as they played their games. No more games. No more leaving me without care, yet charging my insurance for the days, even worse for over a week just after another back surgery. Truth is here. Stay away from Amyst at all costs!
