My wife had a TBI and we needed someone for a few specific tasks - the person provided was a complete mismatch and actually agravated the situation

Using Home Instead at this time. I used Visiting Angels when I broke my femur. At that time, their first service was very good on all criteria below.

Poor customer service assigned caretakers either late or no shows poor support from agency makes excuses for their caretakers

I’ve had a contract with innovative solutions for 1 week and the caregiver has canceled 3 times and twice they didn’t send a replacement. “We have been unable to find a replacement caregiver”. So I’m left with an aging parent with Alzheimer’s who is not safe alone and no solution. It’s too expensive to be an added headache, getting last minute calls that no caregiver is coming.

When we first met with them it was all about making sure my dad had good home healthy home cooked meals. One maybe two times the rest of the time the caregiver was taking him out to eat which my dad was paying for both. And the bad part they would always take him to a town over from his town and we we have to pay mileage as well. Think they could have just stayed in the town he was at so that was an added expense. I did state that we need to limit where we are going to cut down on expense cause paying over [removed] a week In my opinion was a bit much and my wife and I felt like we were being taken advantage of and playing on our feelings. On two different occasions at the last minute caregiver called out and left it up to me which btw I’m 600 miles away to find someone to bring my dad food for dinner. The response I got back was can you not get his friend to get him something to eat when it should of been Cornerstone making sure that shift was covered.

Caregivers that come are not well dressed and not well trained, at all! The management team is just as laughable. They hardly answer the phone and they don’t listen to your requests and just send random caregivers to your home. Only there to collect a check (staff and management alike).

Don’t be fooled with the intake. The “care” they provide is horrific. I wouldn’t trust them to care for a plant let alone your elderly loved ones.

Person sent to aid was late and was more interested in talking on their phone than helping - even talking loudly late at night when I was having trouble sleeping. She took personal property and did not return them when she said she would.

I’d give it 0 stars. They never showed after weeks of coordination and lied about a nurse that was supposed to arrive last friday and I never heard from them again.

The agency hired good workers but management team ignore the client request. They only care about payment but totally ignore clients basic request. Once they skip caregivers schedule n no showed because of a little payment delay. They left patient w/no caregivers for whole weekend.

I guess home doesn't matter because I found they: didn't provide proper communication, didn't answer their phone, didn't provide proper assistance at the proper time, didn't send a refund check as they said they would. I cancelled service.

Initial contact was great. They were going to help me apply for VA aid and attendance. They had a full month to take action. After a month, I emailed and called. Have gotten no response in 3 weeks time. So, now I must begin the process myself. I will contact the Va myself and then try to find someone else to help with my aging mother.

we use the service for a few weeks after my grandmother moved into an assisted living facility. We use them just for companion care to get her out of the room and moving around. In the first week, no one showed up for two of the days, and I was only notified about this after the caregiving facility informed me. Later on, we had a different caregiver who needed to have someone from the facility help interpret my grandmother’s English into her native language. When I emailed the owner to explain what I had heard when I was on the phone with my grandfather, he basically said that I could not possibly be right in what I experienced. Overall, I cannot recommend this company for other people wanting to care for their relatives.

After a month and a half of services, 5 shows, 7 no-shows, started [date removed], have yet to receive a bill. They rarely return calls and when they do nothing but excuses. Please look around you can do better.

We contracted with them to provide 6 hours of home care for 7 days per week. The company committed to finding 1-2 caregivers for my aging father in law. It took multiple weeks to finally find someone and then proceeded to only provide services for 5 days per week. After about 10 days the services stopped because of an issue with one of their caregivers but the company did not supply a replacement despite multiple requests. Also, their billing is not accurate, the company is not responsive to complaints, and this was a horrible experience. We have used other agencies and this was by far the worst. Their care services were actually pretty good but the company never fulfilled the terms of their contract.

We met at my house to discuss the service She left me her number. In 3 days I decided you to use them I called and never got a call. I called their office and never got a.response

In the intake, I told them what the needs were, and they said yes. They had people that could fulfill oue needs. Only one time they send somebody that was capable. Every other time incompetent home health care workers. I never got a paper receipt which I asked for. There were very unprofessional. They're happy to do your intake and take your money. Then they don't care. I paid $[removed] an hour and they sent people that were not able to meet the criteria that I let them know ahead of time.

Five times they had no one to come to my house to help me with my father. A couple of times it was a no call no show. They don’t seem to have it together as far as providing the service they claim they can provide.

Wrong meds were given, & specific instructions that were clearly written, we're not done.Mom was upset because the aide was on her phone the entire time & wouldn't look up even when she initiated conversation. Commode not cleaned & written wishes to recycle we're not honored. I retrieved & washed the recyclables from the trash myself, as well as cleaned commode. Poor performance overall.

Will not return calls or messages. When I called it sounded like a high school person answering the phone. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Didn’t provide service for patient that was discharged from hospital. Services were talked about before discharge and after discharge and patient was home no services were provided.
