This is a good service for those seniors who just need companionship and a friend. It works well for seniors who are isolated and lonely. Don't count on anything more. In our case our senior was in distress and needed more care that we could not do from a long distance away. This agency does not report seeing anything such as lack of medical care, abuse, lack of hygiene care, etc. Obvious after the fact. Any concerns they may have noticed was never conveyed to us or the authorities.

The daughter of the owner, is a problem every time she comes she’s sometimes, rude, argumentative. It’s also hard get an invoice from them. As I write this, their over 2 weeks behind on my bill. They seem like their having “operational problems or something.

After 3 months of waiting for a job to be filled any many phone calls and text messages, no one was able to fill our needs for the end of November for 2 weeks. It was very disappointing and on the day I was to pay in advance and in full they told me they couldn’t fill the job.

On the first day Right at home sent a caretaker that did not have transportation when it was a need and priority discussed.They also did not show up on the second day of care for my father. They called him about 45 mins after the time they were supposed to be there to say they didn’t have a caretaker for him. They did say they were working on it and trying to find someone but didn’t think they could until late that day or following day. I called to voice my concerns and the way it was handled and how I was treated was not acceptable. I knew then that I did not want to work with a company like that so I told them I wanted to cancel services. They would not let me get out of the two week notice to cancel and required us to stay with them an additional 2 weeks. They did end up sending a good reliable caretaker at the end during our two week notice period but overall how everything was handled I did not want to stay with them. Management there is very unprofessional to say the least!!!!!

Charges never matched the services. The caregiver was ok at first, but then charged extra hours. Caregiver was ok Thank you. I have nothing much to say The manager was very friendly at first then didn't cooperate.

They were unable to provide a caregiver. We found out the day the caregiver was needed. I went to another home care company. The ladies were very nice and apologetic but this placed me on the spot. I had to scramble to locate another caregiver.

[name removed] and [name removed] were phenomenal and gave me such an amazing experience up front. They were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful start to finish. Unfortunately the woman they assigned to us was new to the company and not well vetted. She walked out on us within two weeks over complaints with the company, breaking my 101yo grandmas heart and really messing with her already disrupted routine. I did my own background check after that and it turned out she was homeless with mounds of debt and two recent DUIs. The company itself seems great, but the caregivers need to be vetted better. They did offer to replace her immediately but I opted to go private because I can’t be certain the next person would be trustworthy enough not to further disrupt our routine.

I initially had a good impression of Cornerstone after talking with Sam on the phone and then in person. The first caregiver I met was 15 minutes late with an unacceptable excuse. Her efforts for that evening were minimal with me having to explain everything. The second caregiver was on time the first time and 15 minutes late the second time. Her tardiness caused the earlier caregiver to have to stay late and for me to rush home since I have no idea if she was coming or not. Her work was sub-par and at this point I decided Cornerstone was not the answer I had hoped.

They didn't inform us about the $[removed] weekly charge to withdraw the payments. The communication about my parents was very lacking. Two of the caregivers were smoking and leaving the cigarettes on the lawn. One of the caregivers was sleeping during her nightshift. We saw this on camera. My mom had two falls during her shift. One of the caregivers stole a blanket. I did see it in her car. We were happy with 3 of the caregivers who went above and beyond to care for my parents.

When I hired this company, I informed them that if I find a private caregiver, I would be getting them that was first off. Secondly, they sent to Caregiver and all she did was eat and not even engaged in conversation with my mother. She didn’t do anything except sit, watch TV and eat I was not happy. I then hired a private caregiver and called the owner to inform. I also informed her that this Caregiver was not worth it as all she did was sit and watch TV and eat and not even talk to my mother not one word and I have cameras in the bedroom so I have all the footage to prove this. The owner told me that this wasn’t the regular caregiver if I can give them another opportunity and send this Caregiver that was supposed to be mom‘s regular caregiver that was busy. I didn’t want to take a chance and I told her no thank you and I was gonna camp and try a new hired help that I hired. I would not recommend this company from the interactions that I’ve had and seeing how this caregiver worked.

First of all, it's very expensive. There were several times when the caregivers would show up late a couple times they would not show up at all. I was a little taken back that they didn't try to do any kind of activities with Mom. I suppose that's partly my fault for not giving those instructions. The cleaning up part that was instructed, look like a 10-year-old was doing them very disappointed. The people in the office when I spoke with them on the phone or plenty nice enough and apologetic but that doesn't get the job done or make up for workers that didn't show up. All in all, my rating is not that great. They were pretty much just a warm body so that Mom wasn't alone.

I had a caregiver I really liked. She was with me for 5 weeks. She was with me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer saying “Don’t worry, I’ll be with you every step of the way." She drove me to lunch, had a margarita and then the next time she came, said she was 6 months pregnant! The next time she was supposed to come, the agency text me saying she was sick and asked if I needed a replacement. I said yes, I have to go to the hospital. They text this blanket text saying for after hours help, call this number. Finally the agency called me and said they didn’t have anybody! I have neuropathy and use a rollator.

The owner was great, in my opinion he is really trying hard. I felt he was in a little over his head, probably really busy and trying his best. We had at least 2 scheduling issues. The person was hired and didn’t work out. Says… not on the schedule, called off, late, I feel she lied about a couple situations, appeared to (politely) not be herself on a couple visits. When I brought my concerns to the owner he did want to help and wanted me to give her a chance, when I said I didn’t think that was going to work, he defended her completely (I don’t think this was her first rodeo), I feel she had already lied to him to protect herself. I was out of town and they were hired to help me out with the people I caregive. I was traveling and didn’t address it right away. I hope he does well, I know it is hard to find good help!

At first it was good then the second week ,while let say they have staff of caregivers they care but some of them are here for a check to do the bair medium.. That is all I need to say. FYI MOST OF THEM where good caregivers and some I wouldn't let them watch my dog because they may not show up. I hope people understand where I'm coming from with this review. It's not personal I have been let down alot miss work because no show payments not filed in a timely manner so no service for a month had to been over backwards for that as well so no I wouldn't recommend Cornerstone to take of family members are myself.

The caretaker had difficulty doing some of the chores due to her age, she mostly sat on the couch and talked about herself. When she did finally cook, she burnt the food and served it anyway. I am very disappointed and will not use this service again!

Failed to show up twice with no call to let anyone know. We had one lady that was exceptional, but that was one day only. The rest would either just sit & do very little or would vacuum but it was not a good job. Stopped services after 2 weeks & have hired another person.

Overall experience was quite disappointing, initially numerous caregivers would come to provide care. Once we requested a steady caregiver this person failed to notify me or the agency of my mother's deterioration. Would definitely not recommend the agency I used.

Overall experience: 2 – I went through 3 caregivers in 3 months time. The first 2 that they provided for me fell through. One of them stopped showing up and they fired the 2nd one whom I really like and was a great caregiver. I did not feel comfortable with the 3rd caregiver they provided and decided to end services and privately hire. Reliability: 3 – When they had a caregiver lined up and scheduled to work they for the most part arrived on time Ease of starting care: 4Communication and Responsiveness: 3 5.Friendliness: 3 – Sometimes their friendliness felt a little fake 6.Quality of Care: 4 – Most of the caregivers had experience and were very kind and willing to learn and my unique needs 7.Value for money: 3 – It’s expensive but comparable to other agencies I’ve used.

Caregivers were not qualified for this position. Very unsatisfied. I asked for CNA 's because of the total care and a Hoyer lift that needed to be given and the continued to send HOA's that didn't have knowledge of Hoyer or even catheter care. We went through a few people with this company before we had to find a new company

Some of the caregivers were excellent and others were not. We did have issues with stolen goods and food as well as forged checks and credit card theft. That person was fired but I think a drug test and background check should be put in place as well as surprise spot checks. I would probably not recommend until these items were implemented.
