Electronics to help guide the patient, and allow us to communicate with the patient were not used or demonstrated as discussed. Care personnel was changed frequently. Often the helpers were late or no show. The care giver would leave the residence while she was supposed to be in the home.

Nothing of what was explained or expected. unprofessional and disrespectful employees. First Lady came in and immediately sits on the arm of the couch instead of sitting actually on the couch seat. Then takes 30 minutes to change sheets on the bed . Mainly because she spent most of her time on the cell phone. 2nd lady was just rude from the time she walked in the door until she left.

This company provided in home care for my husband and myself when we needed it. All of the care takers were very good and provided excellent care for both of us. They helped with care but also took care of laundry, dishes and cleaning. They also provided transpirtation to medical appointments.

1st day was fine. 2nd day, I was called just before they were scheduled to start. They said they couldn't find anyone that wanted to work. They would keep looking. Did not call back. They abandoned us. We hired them because we had a need! They made more per hour than I made over my entire work life. They did not called back. Just left us hanging. They promised us reliability and service. They gave us a pack of lies. In my opinion, it is all about them getting paid. Who cares about how it affects the customer? If that was my business, I would have paid someone overtime, or worked the hours myself to fulfill my promise to the customer. Instead we got "too bad, so sad" I will be careful not to trust them again

Everyone was very friendly throughout the assessment and entry process but when it came to actual coverage, if Home Instead was unable to find staff for the scheduled shift, we were called with very short notice that they were unable to provide coverage. We cancelled after a short period of time. Not exactly sure how the system works but it seems that if staff did not pick up the shift then we received the call. Shouldn’t staff be scheduled to meet the needs of clients? I was told it is usually like this in the beginning but we needed it to be good from the start. Recently heard the same concern from another person in the community.

We wanted someone to help around the house with laundry, cooking and cleaning. As well as being a companion with my wife. They company ended up sending several different people. None of which met our expectations. All of them were fairly young and didn't seem to have more than basic household cleaning or cooking skills. They also generally had minimal communication skills. We both felt uncomfortable with them.

Very friendly sweet owners who were kind and very flexible - and we got some phenomenal caregivers through them - but communications, consistency and accuracy from the management side was a real challenge.

The cost was not acceptable. The hourly rate of more than $[removed] per hour was not reasonable for a retired person to afford. We are both on fixed income and Medicare. My wife has Alzheimer’s disease and she has me as her caregiver. I have more responsibility than I can handle and need in home support from this agency. I don’t have any other options to help me through this very difficult situation.

We had begun to build a repoire with our new health care worker. She was polite but a little rough around the edges, but she was on time and good w mom so we gave it a try. She had been there a few weeks. On this day I came home to her shouting and cursing obscenities to someone one her cell phone, while in my mom's room; her safe space. I asked her to step out yet she continued, and then OUR home phone rang and she continued to yell and curse into that phone hosting a three way. That was her last day. While I understand that people have bad days, to do this in my mom's safe space and make her listen to it was unacceptable. I terminated our relationship with the provider. It is understood that it was not the provider but the appointee that caused the issue for us; yet the appointee nonetheless. Regrets

The caregivers are always sick or have some other excuse for not showing up, the lead person has one other client and all of her time goes there so I guess my 15 hours a week mean nothing to them. I still need to get out and i have need of a shower and clean sheets. The company is just getting on its feet and its taking its bumps., its having trouble finding good reliable, people

We had problems with Guardian Angels Home Care. At first, the director could not find someone to do the hours we needed. Then, the first caregiver was young, inexperienced, and did not do the tasks we agreed on. I caught her sleeping during lunch when I showed up unexpectedly. I told the director I did want her back and discontinued services. It took a long time for Mom to agree to another service. We went with Home Instead and were very pleased.

I wouldn't recommend Tindol. I did have an excellent caregiver they sent. However, they don't pay their employees very well, and the majority of the ones they sent were clueless to the fact that my mother sick for days and needed to be hospitalized.

Home Helpers were new to the industry. I think we were one of their 1st clients. Talked a good game. Overall 2 - very disappointed Language barrier between caregivers and patient Some were good others were so so Very disappointed. Office manager didn't know his job. Slack in billing but taking $$ without a reference. I had to physically show him how it should have been done. Food was not an issue These were overnights. Overpriced for all the issues we had. Would not recommend them. Their staff frequently called out for family to cover

Was an easy process to start. They promised many things but did not deliver. Communication. Had a huge turnover and manager was based in Lubbock.

They did not provide what they said they would. They changed times and sent someone who slept on the job. Did not show up on time, communication with office was fine but help didn't show up until after I had to leave to catch a flight!

She was just starting out and was unable to hire people who would work in Ann Arbor so she would try to do it all herself. She had several customers like me and was running back and forth to one and the other. I really needed the help but just gave up on her. She is very nice and I hated to give up but I felt badly that I was causing her so much trouble. I would hope she has figured out how to do the job by now if she is still in business. I'm sure she would not be surprised by this report.

The administrator, [name removed], drug his feet about providing "the plan" he said was being developed by his mgr. I had to ask pointedly what the hourly rate would be. He just didn't seem to be a good business person. I would not recommend Sr Helping Sr to anyone!

Almost, if not every visit was with a new person who had not been updated on the clients condition or the best way to care for the patient. In addition, extra time was logged and charged without approval. The caregivers were very nice but not already qualified, from my perspective, in dealing with the patient and they condition.

Homewell of Pontiac sent a string of workers that stole from, and burglarized my home. One worker thought it was o.k to negotiate the price of my home with a neighbor based on her property where here trailer was parked. My home wasn’t for sale. Another Homewell employee burglarized my home. Yet another employee arrived an hour late and left an hour early. Needless to say I don’t utilize them any more.

I had requested to have the same person come each time and have someone who was licensed to drive me to Dr appts, get groceries etc and the rep told me that was no problem. During the time I was with them the most the same person came was just twice and not one of the people they sent was licensed/insured to have me in their car. There also was a problem with getting people here at the agreed upon time and the only way I would know they had changed the time was to check the website. They didn’t call to inform me of the changes and to make sure the change would work for me.
