They were good help and helped mother with her shower and getting dressed. They did the washing, vacuuming, clean dishes, removed trash.They would ask if there was anything else that needed taken care of.If you told them something else to do,they would do it or if they seen something that needed cleaned they would clean it. Were always friendly.

At first we were happy with Cornerstone, but after 5 weeks with them things are not so rosy. We had hoped for regular care givers to stay on a fixed schedule to generate familiarity, but this has not happened as 3 girls and 1 male have been released either by us or the agency. They sent a male out to care for my mother without asking first if this was acceptable, it was not. Then most recently, we are finding items missing from the home such as electronic charging cables that none of the care givers seem to know where they went, but were used by at least 1 care giver. There is other evidence of drawers being opened and items moved around in rooms that should not be entered by Cornerstone personnel. There have been billing overcharges as well. We are very uncomfortable with this agency at this time.

Their manager was very nice and very professional. She gave a wonderful presentation of the company. However, I later discovered that they are fairly new and are, in my opinion, having some difficulty in building their staff. I no longer needed their service so I canceled after a short time. It was nothing that the company management or the caregiver did. I just began to feel better and no longer needed them

Our initial meeting with them was very good. They said everything we wanted to hear. So we hired them. The follow through was not as good. We were told we could do 12-15 hours a week. Then they said we had to do 20 hours per week. The lady they placed with my mom was MUCH older than they said she was. We felt she needed care almost as much as my mom. She was very nice but she shared all of her personal problems with my mom and pushed her religious beliefs. This was a huge problem for my mom who is adamantly agnostic. They told us there would be check-ins both on an app and in a notebook at her house. The app was not available and the notebook never showed up at her house. So we had very little communication. Ultimately this did not work out for us, and we let her go after one month.

She did work with us in providing fewer hours than they normally provide on a weekly basis, however, each 1 hour visit (2-3 per week)is now $[removed] instead of the [removed] per hour she originally quoted. I don’t remember her telling us this up front. Just not sure if I’m getting my money’s worth!

The first contact with [name removed] care went very well- they were able to jump right in to solve an immediate need. The first months was great, second month had a few hiccups but by the third month they were definitely slacking off. Sadly we are once again searching for reliable service from other sources.

The first night the caregiver stole som of my meds. On two other occasions people did not show up for their shots. When I called they were going to send someone when half the shift was gone. When I was getting ready to terminate my services I spoke to [name removed] and told her I would no when after I spoke to the pa. When I called her after that appointment she said I needed to give them a weeks notice.

Agency and caregivers were unreliable. Caregiver came 2 hours late and still left at scheduled time, saying she had another job to go to. Administration did not call. I called and demanded credit for the 2 hours' service not received. I chose not to continue using their service since that was a second occurrence.

I would not recommend this agency. Communication is very bad and when you call you do not get a return call. Because I live out of town I need issues to be addressed. Does not happen EVER! Unprofessional!

This company was not as reliable, as I was hoping they would be. I first met [name removed] and thought I would be communicating with her, but then there were other people in the office that I was unfamiliar with as well as [name removed] a gentleman that also worked there. My expectations were never met. [name removed] the second caregiver that started to work with my mother was very nice, but she had some issues in her family life that took her away from her job. I felt that the caregivers were not as familiar with dementia as I hope they would be. Watching videos for people with disabilities is different from actually doing work with a caregiver who is familiar with issues of the elderly giving and answering questions during training.

As caregiver of an alzheimers husband, I need someone to set up his prescriptions in his 3 daily pill dispensers. Cornerstone doesn't do that since it requires an RN Nurse. I don't yet need other types of help. I only realized Home Healthcare is different from Homecare after they informed me.

Each of our caregivers have been very good. Dad responds to some better than others. We stopped services b/c of hospitalization and rehab for a few months; however, since we resumed services, I can tell the administration is not as good as when the persons that were leading things were there in July of this year. There does not seem to be a consistent person in the office scheduling caregivers. Caregivers seem to not know who their supervisor is or the person to contact if they have a problem. I have been called about services I never scheduled. I had to call back to confirm services after no one called me back. The professionalism and communication is lacking.

From the first meeting the management team was very friendly and caring. We were looking for visits with my 90 year old mother, twice a week for 4 hours per session at her home. We discussed activities we would like their aide to do and everything sounded good. Where we ran into problems was actually meeting with the aide who would be visiting my mother. Their aides all seem to have other jobs at nursing homes or care facilities. One of our requests is that we have the same aide visiting mother house and it seemed hard to get a commitment to that. In the end it didn't seem like that was happening, so we declined using this agency. I think they are still organizing their agency and there was a lot of confusion getting firm answers.

When I first signed on with this company they were great but lately they have people who have called out and no one to replace them. I am disabled and need help getting cleaned up and going to the bathroom. I have been stuck for hours with no help sitting in my own waste.

Not enough staff. To full fill request. First visit I was very comfortable setting up schedule. The main visit for 4 hours The nurse was very nice. I did feel uncomfortable that the nurse Was wanting to take pictures of my property.

Uncle is an ultra-conservative old-fashioned 86 year old. He was just barely willing to consider a home health care aid, as long as it was a man. Sending him a man covered in tattoos was probably not a real good match. And now he has indicated that he doesn’t want any home health care aids coming to his home again. We can’t help but wonder if the outcome might have been different if there had been a better match.

Care givers in general have been decent but we have had a few who needed more training.

Several times the caregiver not showing up at times was not told to the patient or their families, not attempt to send someone else in their place. Also their new caregivers may have attempted to accept gifts from their patients which is not allowed.

I would not recommend at this point! Too many phone calls for call outs which added stress to a already difficult time! Understaffed for call outs and only had for 1 week! Had 2 callouts that they found coverage and 3rd time was a double 8pm-8am then 8am to 3pm. Unacceptable for a week sorry to the ladies that did come to help! Another thing when I agreed to this company all staffing wasn't trained for annal medication application. My mom passed from Parkinson disease.

The worker accused me of using her. She didn’t want to do any extra work. I fired her. Would not hire this person again. She didn’t want to do light housework. We are still looking for things she put away.
