All I came in contact were very nice and they always called when care giver not available. But it was often! Often at least one day a week but they always offered a replacement but my father would not accept random caregiver for my mother There was not much initiative in care. It took constant guidance by someone else in the home to keep the care moving forward according to my dad. And as a result of this my dad refused to leave the caregiver alone with my mother. I had a list of minimal duties on the fridge and most of the time they were completed. But as soon as was complete dress, toilet , meds the care giver usually spent the rest of the time in a chair. Not often engaging my mother in activities without suggestion but this is common with the other services we have used. It may just be the way they are in the industry. The care givers were kind and nice but often on phones and seemed bored in chairs in the den. The value for cost is what the industry has for this care in our area so it was average. But we receive much higher personal care with an independent care giver at lower cost. I do not consider this a "bad review" but an honest evaluation of the situation and I expect I would find the same at a different agency as we have in the past and now my father will not hire a service for care and we are struggling keeping all the hours covered as my mother declines. I would and have actually recommended the company as one who is responsive and easy to work with administratively as long you understand the care is minimal in our experience.

Two or three people sent to us were in just incompetent. Some of the people sent our way didn't understand the job. The care given does not sync with the cost.

Some experiences were excellent. Others were not acceptable. They could improve their reliability and skill levels.

Over all I would rate a 3 - there were issues with reliability with Cornerstone - my uncle is not the easiest person to get along with and this experience was a-little overwhelming for him and myself. He was used to living by himself all his life so having people in his home was difficult. The personnel tried to accommodate him.

Griswold's owner met with me, understood mom's needs. Sent a provider which worked well. Had to send a different provider due to illness and it definitely didn't work well. I've spoken with the owner to express concerns so improvements could made.

I am self pay and I did not like the idea of having them be in your home for a minimum of 4 hours it got quite costly. I do not feel the HHA used her time wisely on those 4 hours

Only used their services for a couple of times. The lady that helped was very good. Scheduling was easy and they were able to accommodate most situations I had.

The girls were very friendly and sweet. But I found that since I was laid up in bed, they could have taken the initiative to do things themselves or ask if I need things done. Because when you're feeling crummy, you can't think very well. And not just can I do anything, I'm sure they could, but I couldn't think of anything like vacuuming my carpet. There was a mess on the floor and some other things. Dirty dishes I believe. Girls were lovely. The service was just not fantastic.

They're better if you live in Petersburg or Highland Springs. That's where all the caretakers came from. Every caretaker was doing it as a second job. They were wonderful but often tired and worn down by a long day. Because if this they didn't last long and we went through 5 over a few months. That's very difficult for a person with dementia.

1, Overall experience - Dealing with the office was OK but I was sent a slew of sub-par care givers!!!! 2, Reliability & punctuality - Although most care givers arrived on time (instead of before time), I had several who wanted to leave early 3, Ease of starting care - Very easy to start up. 4, Communication & responsiveness - I had no issues when dealing with the office personnel 5, Friendliness - when dealing with the office 6, Quality of care - I must've "gone thru" 8 care givers because most of them were DUDS!!. Only one was excellent!! 7, value for cost - I searched the net and found that most care giving agencies were charging about same.

The caregiver is wonderful. Very dependable when working along with her schedule. I never hear from the main office at all. We had one care giver who was suddenly gone and it took a week to get another one. The second one signed her paperwork at our home and had no previous training with Bright Home Health. That said, she is wonderful, but I suspect it has more to do with her than the agency. We are VERY satisfied with the caregiver, not so much the agency.

The main reason I wanted help was to make sure my father is taking his meds and keeping up with hygiene. After the accepted the job. They let me know that they do not offer these services. So I pretty much was paying them to site with my dad and me paying for them to eat lunch.

I enjoy the help I get but feel like I'm constantly training the new staff. Everyone does it their way. No best practices. No one seems to be in charge. They all say give me a minute when I need something ..never to follow back up .

The first caregiver we had seemed unsure of how to do most tasks without direction. She didn't know how to cook or even slice a banana, and she once tested the temperature of the oatmeal with her finger-which was not okay. The second caregiver was an improvement, but both were quite young and inexperienced. Their manager, on the other hand, was excellent-she clearly knew what she was doing. If she had been our regular caregiver, we likely would have stayed with the company. We've since found an independent caregiver through [removed] who is fantastic and has many years of experience.

They struggle to staff consistently. Staff they had were unreliable after about a month.

Accommodated us with early hours we wanted. Found someone right away. Yes, we would recommend Home Instead to other families based on the experience so far.

Everything would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that I can't understand what they say. I would recommend them.

They had a lot of help available. Yes, we would recommend Supplemental Support Care Services LLC to other families based on the experience so far.

1. Such a service is needed because they pre-screen the caregivers, cover liability, support pop-ups (e.g. provide last minute replacements), and handle all the quarterly employee taxes and withholding. 2. But customers must take care to explicitly set requirements (e.g. "Non-smokers", "No perfumes", "housekeeping duties", "personal care duties", "pets present" or "pet allergies", "cleaner allergies" such as patient allergy to PineSol, and "family/kids will be present during hours". 3. Before committing, clarify any flexibility needs, for example: A. Ability to come home early and end the day (? 2 hrs short). B. Flexibility to cancel days with limited notice (such as staying home when it rains or if patient has a doctor appointment). 4. Clarify exactly what circumstances require overtime pay (e.g. 48 hrs for single worker includes 8hrs @ time and a half, but two 24-hr workers in a split shift does not). 5. Time is recorded to .25hr in combination with both proximity arrive/leave and worker's phone app check-in/out. Sometimes there can be a discrepancy as to when the caregiver actually started/stopped. Recommend keeping a logbook with times. 6. If a caregiver is unsatisfactory for whatever reason, communicate that before it becomes a bigger issue; likewise, be sure to report exceptional services.

I was very hopeful after talking to the owner/manager of the company. And was able to start within days of my request, The worker assigned to me was friendly and I blocked forward to working with her, but she was more interested in talking than working I wanted companionship too but I needed light housekeeping and food prep as well. I got the rundown of how the company was mismanaged and didn't care about its employees etc. I notified the owner and he said he would talk to her, but that made her mad so I terminated the service
