They have been helpful however, it seems that some of the caregivers are not been totally reliant. Agency and services have been very good in responding to questions and general communication. The scheduler has been exceptionally good.

My mother has the same caregiver for 2 years, she is very efficient and my mother likes her very much. They have had trouble to find Spanish speaking substitutes if the caregiver is sick or on vacation. I would recommend

The caregiver is fun and lovable, gets done what is needed and can be determined (in a good way) Care is provided twice per week

Initial contact very attentive and supportive. I am trying to manage my Dad from a four hour drive away so it was helpful to talk to someone who gave me the impression of trustworthiness. Intake process went well. That person met with my Dad who was very reluctant to get involved with an aide and she patiently got him on board. There have been a few aide not showing up events but the office staff have been very attentive to get the needs met and very sincerely apologetic for those few times. Once resulted in him missing a doctor appointment- they got him a new appointment and sent a supervisor to get him to that appointment to ensure the mistake was corrected. It's not perfect but they do address the problems that arise.

They provided; compassion some cooking and cleaning. The caregivers are good.

The only "problem" was the inconsistency of caretakers. My Mom needed someone to check in on her hourly and not stay with her the whole time, that made her feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was good.

They were very reliable. They manager introduced us to the caregivers the caregivers herself. The only reason for the rating of 4, was that one of the caregivers, while very nice, needed to be given ideas and tasks, and was not as proactive as the other. But overall it was a good experience, especially when my husband doesn't want to do much of anything. It takes some creativity to come up with ways to engage him.

I believe there should be continual training to improve care for clients with dementia. If I (as a lay person) can learn how to maintain individual dignity and enhance [name removed] quality of life, I believe your clientele would benefit from that as well through your companionship care providers. At times there is a shift change during [name removed] care for which there is an overlap of fees. Less shift change, the better - especially for dementia patients. There is no open communication with the Aides. By the time I get their journals, they are 2 weeks out. So if there are issues, time has passed before I even knew there was an issue.) Some journals are too redundant, others are too vague. Some tasks are being completed that are not applicable (ie In the most recent journal entry "Clean or change litter box" is marked as "completed" but the cat died 4 months ago! How many other tasks are being misrepresented?) I realize that [name removed] is very low maintenance and has very few interests or hobbies but the aides could afford to be more intentional in providing new activities that would be more engaging. [name removed] does not like to color but they have her coloring most every day.) They should be willing to learn new games and invest quality time and more interactive conversation. I can't express how grateful I am to have peace of mind knowing that [name removed] is safe in her home. My life is such that I cannot be there for her 24/7 so HCAN is truly a godsend by meeting [name removed] wishes to stay in her home!

I had to establish care rapidly and they were able to provide resources immediately. They worked with us on schedules to support our family. The price was expensive but comparable to other companies.

This was my first experience with having a caregiver and they seemed fine. Yes, I would recommend Ridge Homecare to other families based on the experience so far.

They had staff available and ready to start. The caregivers were, nice, polite, hardworking.

They were, no longer. Companionship. I would recommend to others.

It was easy to start or cancel service. When we had issues or scheduling issues we were just a phone/text away. Always were fast to respond.

Our overall experience was very good. [name removed] the owner was amazing. He went above and beyond to help me. I had to set up care in a matter of days for my parents and he was helpful, caring, and supportive in every way! Of the 1st two caregivers that were hired only 1 showed up every single day she worked for my parents and never ever missed a day. The other would cancel short notice and put [name removed] in a terrible bind to find coverage for my parents. We eventually fired her and [name removed] thought I never met the person who took her place, my mom for what ever reason didn't feel comfortable with her. She also had missed some days. There were also 2 who were no shows but [name removed] was great to find coverage. Only [name removed] was always reliable and there every day. Wish my parents still had her there. It all was needed to happen quickly and it did. We had 2 people set up to care for my parents quickly and smoothly. The quality of care was better and so professional with [name removed] , but overall the quality of care with the others was good. I don't have any thing to compare it with but I know in home care is expensive.

Overall very good experience. Got things up and running quickly to meet our needs. When we had a problem with a caregiver it was taken care of quickly. The main caregiver we ended up with was excellent. Marked down for bad experience with the other caregiver who was repeatedly late and eventually we let go. We needed help right away and a temporary caregiver was located to start right away while ongoing people were identified. Very good communication and responsiveness at any day or time. Replaced bad caregiver quickly. Very kind at a difficult time. The person we ended up with [name removed] was excellent but we had a very bad experience with [name removed] who didn't clean my dad up during the night and didn't call for help despite being repeatedly told to do so if she needed help. It is expensive but was a lifesaver for us so that we could get the sleep we needed to care for my dad during the day.

Overall experience-everything was great till the end of service , caregiver used Mom's credit card and had to contact them about it. It was handled correctly but left a bad feeling about elderly and their money. Reliability and Punctuality - arrived on time and even had availability on rush need. Ease of Starting Care - [name removed] made it very easy. She was a lifesaver. Can't say anything bad about her. Communication and Responsiveness - They communicated with me all the time. Friendliness - mom liked most of her caregivers. Only had one she didn't like. Management was very friendly Quality of Care - caregivers cared Alot and so did management Value for Cost - Our budget was on the low side. We got value for the money we spent.

My parents really enjoyed their caretakers, they were very friendly, and the manager was very responsive. the value was good compared to other agencies, with a 1 hour minimum compared to other services requiring 2-4 hours per visit

Almost perfectly reliable. Also almost perfectly responsive. Caregivers are younger and less responsible, interested in patient wellness than I hoped . Also not much good at outings. A couple seemed superior but don't come any more. All agencies seem similar for cost. It's the only agency we've dealt with, except for interviewing a couple others, so I don't feel like much of an expert. I feel like they are meeting the need but I don't feel enthusiastic

Having the assistance that I need. Also they were willing to do one and two hour aid visits rather than the other organizations that required 4 hour time blocks even if that amount of time was not needed. I only need help for one or two hours each morning and night and they were willing to set that up

I like when [name removed] came out with each new aide test my mother had. It was easy to start care for my mom. I thought they provided great care with my mom. It's a little pricey but I know it's comparable.
