The woman I first met with was pleasant and informative. Attendant was always on time. Went very smoothly. For the most part they were very responsive. They were very polite and friendly. The caregiver was excellent, selfless and punctual. Value for the cost - This was very problematic. The cost, although competitive was outrageous especially given the amount I was being charged versus what the attendant was paid. I had to cancel getting a caregiver altogether due to the high cost. This left a very bad taste in my mouth about the whole experience

If for any reason our caregiver was unavailable, the schedule was filled with a substitute. This was only a challenge because my mother was uncomfortable with change. I thought the subs handled that well. The caregivers were no problem but the contracted billing service took quite some time to get straightened out. Cornerstone employees continued to work with them until they got it right and billing was accurate. Quality of care - Varied slightly among the various caregivers but all were very good or excellent.

Felt comfortable leaving my wife with the caregivers provided.

The owner, [name removed], is a wonderful caring person. Both times my father was hospitalized, she visited him and brought food. The first care giver wasn't a good match and [name removed] found us another capable person. She worked around needs and would provide additional support when needed.

They were only here a week before my husband went back to hospital & died. I loved the owner, very good & personable. My first CNA was excellent, but I ended up having 3 different aids, one of them was awful. Gave a good bath but spent no other time with him. A week wasn't really long enough to judge, but the owner went above & beyond to help my husband.

Your agency has an extensive resource of different types of Assisted living facilities and Home health care agencies. People who use this service can look forward to a reliable and competent caregiver at a competitive and fair price .

They are very willing to work you and adjust to fit the needs of the family.

Sometimes there are issues with consistency. Very easy to communicate with. Very nice. They strictly care givers, not medically trained which makes them limited on the amount of assistance they can give. For the reason of not being medically trained, I think the cost is a little high.

Cornerstone was great! We were constantly changing what we wanted from them and they made it work each time. [name removed] was our main caregiver and he was awesome! [name removed] also was great. We would definitely recommend them.

One of the things I liked most about Senior Helpers was being able to call and get through to a real person. However, lately it has been harder and harder to do so. I would leave a message and might have to wait til the next day to get a reply, or in some cases, I would need to keep calling back until I got an answer. In one instant I resorted to an email to get through. I also liked that they were flexible with which days I used and worked with me on the caregivers they sent.

I'm very satisfied with their services. They communicate effectively and provide very good care givers. So far, so good. I would highly recommend

Very friendly, flexible with scheduling, no true hourly requirements which worked out great. Some of the staff were very resourceful. A bit pricey as compared to experience but overall Extended a Hand treated my mom with respect and dignity.

Owner and staff were professional yet personable. Scheduling was a little difficult. We had one woman quit without telling anyone. There were some other caregivers who just weren't quite right. I think scheduling was the most difficult part. We went well beyond minimum hours. Transportation for medical appointments was provided until mom became completely bedridden and hospice was called in.

The caregivers were great. The problem was last minute cancellations. I would recommend to others.

We choose Home Instead because their office was local and they seemed to pay their caregivers well. To cover our required schedule we began with two caregivers, both very kind and they put up with our oddities. then one left for schooling reasons and the other adjusted her hours to fill the schedule. We were lucky because that was [name removed]. She was happy to cook and adjust to my wife's changing taste AND Nadia got along well with my wife - so important. We are thankful.

Since I lived in Knoxville and was arranging for and paying for the service for a friend in Chattanooga, sometimes documents or information that they would typically leave with the customer would need to be emailed to me. Sometimes I would have to remind them that I had still not received the information. Also, at the end, my deposit was to be refunded. After several weeks, I contacted them and learned that the refund had been overlooked. Then I received a check at my address made out to my friend who had passed. Obviously the check had to be re-isssued. Handling this from a different city did not go smoothly.

The first few months, I give senior helpers(SH) a 5 rating. At no fault of the company, employee movements created a rotating coverage that did not work out for our family. During this period, I rate them a 3. Fortunately, an adult daycare accepted my mother, so we canceled SH.

It's a challenge to share your home with strangers and I think they did as good a job as can be expected. Always on time Also. Very important.

First Light home was very helpful! They cared for my grandmother well and their main guy [name removed] was amazing! Caregivers were super friendly and offered great companionship for my grandmother, and [name removed] really assisted me through the whole process, as this was the first time, Home help for my grandmother.

We have found caregivers that work and we schedule to their availability. Only issue we have had with home matters is their website is often having log in issues
