[name removed] met with us quickly and made my mom feel formed and very comfortable with their services. [name removed] explained the process clearly, answered all our questions and set up the first caregiver visit within a week. She also checked in after the first visit to ensure we were happy and wanted to proceed. We are waiting for a second caregiver referral after the first one left due to personal needs.

I am using Cornerstone twice a week to help with bathing for my mom. The individuals that we have had have been pleasant and easy to work with. I had to request to have the same person all the time due to my moms Alzheimer’s and to keep things consistent.

I had Cornerstone provide care for my mother for 3 weeks. The experience was very good. The caregiver assigned was very professional and my mother really liked her. That being said I had to secure services via Care.com. It took some work and a couple different caregivers but we know have the level of care we needed at a much lower price (Amounts Removed).

Very professional, on time daily. There maybe more conversing than normal. Only objection I have is my mother eats a late lunch due to their scheduling which throws off her dinner time. Other then the eating schedule, I have no issues.

The only issue I have had is we have had three different caregivers which has been a little difficult for my 101 yr old mother to get use. They all have been good and nice, but consistently would have been better.

It all started with a meeting and introduction to my mom needing assistance and my home where she lives. We knew in less than 5 mins this will be a great partnership. We hired them and the first caregiver came out to the house. We are in the rural area but they were still on time. She became a part of the family in an instant. I was surprised to hear how often they clean the bathroom and area where my mom sits to read, eat and talk with friends. The caregivers are great at reminding for pills and helping with exercises assigned from PT. The communication between the caregiver and myself is outstanding. They always keep me in the know when anything arises. As small as when mom wants to eat a cookie instead of doing exercises. The caregiver will actually talk her into doing the exercises to have the cookies. Great motivation. They do you exercises with her to keep her motivated. I would absolutely refer TexMed to everyone. This is the greatest place for fantastic caregivers.

We were hit all at once with issues. I had just had surgery on my colon when dad fell and broke his arm and tail at the same time. Dad and I take care of each other. So I was no help for him. APFM was contacted when dad was released after 6 weeks at the nursing home. [Name removed] came to the house to help dad.[Name Removed] is prefect for us. She wasn’t loud or out spoken she did all the jobs I couldn’t do. And never complained.[Name removed] stayed with dad right through my vacation which gave me comfort knowing he was cared for by someone we had grown to trust. It was a emotional loss when dad felt comfortable enough to stay with just me being home.

My mother spends her winter in El Cajon. She is 98 years old and our family felt she could use some help with some light cleaning and care. We reached out to Cornerstone and set up a meeting and a representitive met with my mother and consulted with our family. Mom has been receiving help and care two days a week. Cornerstone has been very helpful and provided great service and care. Our family is appreciative of having this service available.

All we dealt with were friendly and courteous. One woman worked her butt off and just did things. Made some meals, cleaned the floor and dusted. The other 2 pretty much sat and talked. One helped me change the sheets. I guess maybe partly my fault, I should have had a list of chores. I never dealt with this before so I didn’t realize.

It is easy to start care. They are friendly and reliable. I would recommend them depending on what type of care is required.

I was using a "large" well known National "chain" Care Provider company; 24/7 in-home care; who could not control the quality of the Care Provider's that were coming to my home to care for my sister and mother who live in an state of the art in-law apartment attached to my home. I gave up working with them and found Amada Senior Care. That change took me from paying significant out of pocket costs for having 3-5 incidents per week of very poor quality care...to Amada who is here now 7 days per week and all those issues stemming from a lack of attention or care to the customer are now gone. I have had only ONE issue with Amada in the 2 months of their being in my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking personal individual care for any handicap or elderly persons living in your home - even the OWNER phones me to check in to make sure I'm happy. Amada is great.

Our experience with Cornerstone Caregiving has been very positive. The intake was thorough. Because my loved one requires specialized care as far as helping her walk and make transfers, Cornerstone had two admin nurses come for the first day in order to have detailed notes in her file. One time we had a caregiver who either did not read the notes or did not think they were important and she let her fall. Overall, it’s been a very good experience.

I was very satisfied with the Cornerstone administration. They were friendly and quick to respond to questions. They were also good a communicating with me in regards to my caregiver. I was very satisfied with my caregiver. She was very kind and considerate. She was very willing to do task.

Cornerstone worked with us till we found the right fit for our mom. We are very happy with the care she is getting. Kind, punctual and reliable. The pressure this has taken off of me is so valuable. I am happier and my mom is not spending as much time alone as she was.

I only used them a couple of times before I went into hospital and then rehab. I had a good experience when they were there. Staff was very kind and caring My only negative comment, is that the original caregiver couldn’t make my appointment and the sub was a new hirer and I wonder if her inexperience was the reason I fell in enter the shower

There is new ownership since we began and now they bill our bank a week ahead of time. Not fond of that or the reason behind it. We only needed one night per week for three hours and they were more than accommodating.

[Name removed] was nice to deal with and responsive but once you agreed to home care the nursing staff took over communication. Email communication too much longer than expected. The care provided to my Dad was good though. And the fact that they have a 3 hour min was cheaper than a 4 hour min at a lower price. Initially I was told there wasn’t a minimum.

They were able to meet my schedule needs with relatively short notice. If I need services again they will be the first service I contact. Not extremely happy about all the requests for rating of service.

I would certainly recommend. All workers that we had were on time polite patient focused. [name removed] the red head especially kind and great with husband and very helpful to me. Actually did not want to give her up but VA offers great benefits and could not pass free care up.. Scheduling in beginning was a little off...several different workers but all good

Tuning in to the specific needs of the client is what stood out the most. I would recommend others.
