The people at Cornerstone were great. We had a challenging short term supervision situation with my mother-in-law. They were knowledgeable and experienced in helping us find a solution. They were also very good at communicating as some adjustments needed to be made.

The caregivers they send are very kind and thoughtful to my Father. They make sure he is cleaned and fed. They don’t just sit on their phones and babysit. They have conversations with him and really care. They are punctual and look for things to do around the house including light housework. We have one caregiver that comes twice a week and another that comes in on Sunday and we are very happy with both of them. My dad is an Army veteran and we did have some issues with combining Va benefits and private pay but I think we have it all worked out now.

The owners at Senior Helpers have been very helpful and kind. It took a few caregivers before one worked out. The one now is excellent!

I found them to offer the flexibility I was looking for. I have not been able to utilize their or anyone else’s services yet based on my wife’s desire to not to depend on a caregiver. She is currently in the process of having some nuclear pet scans done to identify the proteinopathies she may have. Her next scan will be at the end of September and that maybe followed up by additional nuclear scans.

With very few exceptions I have had excellent caregivers and supportive assistance from administrators. The cost is much lower than other services also. I have 2 parrots and the caregivers have been excellent with them which is highly appreciated!!

The people that have been assigned to my husband have been very knowledgable. They help get him up, either shower him or get him cleaned up then they dress him. They also give him his pills & morning breakfast. They are here only 2 hours, for 5 days.

When my wife was discharged home to spend her last days in familiar surroundings, she was well cared for by your staff. I could not ask for a better service. I miss her every day but am consoled that she feels no pain.

First Light met our need for a daily part-time aide to care for a six year widow, living alone in the large house in which her children were raised. Despite the adamant opposition of this widow for “intrusion “into her life, First Light’s [name removed] managed the situation, brilliantly, even found a caregiver who speaks French, a favorite pastime of this widow. Providing substitutes as needed, she was able to work through some significant problems, with very positive results. I can’t speak highly enough of the agency.

The Manager is a very good listener & has chosen 2 gals that have cleaned my home, done light cooking & laundry for me. The workers have done an excellent job as well. I had to have my mitral valve replace & didn't have the energy to clean my home due to my dog shedding. So, this was a life saver for me. I'm doing better but have decided once a week instead of twice is working well too.

We were in a pinch and we were able to get connected and start with [name removed] & [name removed] at Griswold to start with a caregiver quickly. I really like that they came the first day, to make sure a stranger doesn’t just walk in. When the first caregiver decided to call it quits, they were able to have a new one the next day. This young lady was really sweet and provided care as needed. We found someone to take care of both Mom & Dad so we switched. However I would recommend Griswald again.

The director is very responsive even on weekends; one of the caregivers has taken [name removed] on outings and to doctor appointments and cleans the house very well on her shift.

Despite a couple of late arrivals, most of the caregivers were excellent. They volunteered to do household chores, like laundry and cleaning. A good experience for us.

They were really helpful and if we needed something, they tried to find someone to do it. However, there was only one person that was hard-working and willing to come and then he hurt his back so there wasn’t anybody to come after that so we kind of just stopped talking to them. They seem to be a good agency, but they do not have enough people. The last person they sent was willing to work hard and stayed by my side in an emergency. Overall yes we would call them back if we needed help again

Overall, it's been good. The only complaint we have is that we hired them to work with both my dad and mom, and they haven't helped my dad with his physical therapy exercises. My dad is being slightly difficult, but they haven't seemed to push him to do them. Other than that, we have had a really good experience.

They have been very responsive. One of the caregivers however (no longer with company) had a few times she wasn’t available to come, so there was a small gap in care at times. Otherwise, has been a good experience.

Cornerstone has been very helpful and provides a range of flexible options that meet the customer needs, and finances.

We had the pleasure of having home health aide and personal care attendant services provided over a period of 3 weeks prior to my dad transitioning to hospice care by [ Name Removed] . team at Love At Home Care Svc's. They did a very good job and were very flexible. We intended to keep the team longer but unfortunately my father's condition deteriorated rapidly.

We ended up using the aid for just one afternoon. We Realized more help wasn't needed. But the person we dealt with on the phone was nice. And the aid was helpful and pleasant.

Just like everything else in life, some of the caregivers are outstanding and some put in minimal effort. You can request certain individuals, so that helps. But you are safe and cared for and they will do whatever is asked. Some are just more proactive.
