Brookdale

I really wished my loved one could have stayed at Brookdale East Arbor. It is a beautiful and clean community. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to try and accommodate our needs. They were very good about responding quickly to any questions or concerns that I had regarding the care being provided. We are moving to another community that will provide the extra care that we need.

I am bringing my loved one back home. I like the staff and they are fine but my wife would have to go into the memory care. She just wants to be home. It is should be a good community for a more willing resident.

My mom has settled in well here in the assisted living, She likes her apt it has a screened-in patio and we have brought in some of her own furniture so it feels more like home to her. Mom enjoys going to the dining room and joining the other residents during mealtime and the food overall is pretty good. there are a lot of amenities offered here for the residents to choose from too. I would definitely recommend taking their tour and seeing this community.

I toured Brookdale Tyler East. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did not offer us lunch but we toured the community. It was clean and didn't smell, but it looked too much like a nursing home.

My loved one is settling in well at Brookdale Nacogdoches. The place is fine. It's a little older establishment, not super fancy, but warm and welcoming. It has a peaceful and calming environment. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly, they are fantastic. They are easy to communicate with if I have any questions or concerns regarding our loved one. The food and the quantity are good, it's not always prepared to our taste, but it is good. They do have activities that the staff encourages the residents to participate in.There is a nicely landscaped courtyard for the residents to go outside and enjoy the fresh air. We are pleased with the location for the family to be able to visit more often. I would recommend this community to others.

Mom has greatly improved since moving into this community. The staff have been encouraging, friendly, kind and supportive. They know how to work with memory care residents. The food is good and they offer healthy choices. They have food available all day. The community is clean and the grounds are well maintained. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

Dad is still adjusting to living at this community. The staff have been helpful. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. The food is ok, however they do not offer a lot of variety. We like that this community is close to family.

My Grandmother is currently in a private facility & due to the cost were having to move her. I have been looking at facilities on a weekly basis for the past six months. It’s been extremely difficult as the majority of the facilities appear to park the occupants in front of the tv. My Grandmother needs a lot of individual care & if she isn’t socializing her memory digresses. It’s been extremely difficult walking into various facilities & seeing the occupants sitting by themselves off in a corner. This facility was different, it immediately felt like home. It was very clean & friendly. When we walked in all of the employees were extremely personable & immediately made me feel confortable. I spoke with several of the occupants from the facility & they all seemed very happy with their living accomodations. I have been to so many facilities that I can’t keep track. This facility was different. All of the occupants were kept busy. As we were leaving they were serving dinner. The food actually looked & smelled like home cooking not the typical hospital food.

I had a great meeting with [Removed], she was very knowledgeable. The property was beautiful - looked much like a hotel.I appreciate the add on amenities ( med reminders, personal care assistance, etc) Again I need first floor with outside access for the dog which may be hard to come by.They have a lot to offer, I have to be careful of finances. They anticipate client needs and have a plan to address situation. Definitely a contender

I have no complaints of how things had went during my tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I liked the open floor and the different amenities they had for the residents. Overall it has been a great place but it was just not the right location.

We were in town for a while and we wanted to see if this community would suit us for a respite stay. It looked really nice, they had some meals, about 2 a day. They were not the best fit for us and we decided on another community.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far things are going well for her. The staff have been helpful with the transition and I am comfortable with the care. The atmosphere is always bright and happy with the other residents. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in some of the activities with the other residents. Overall it has been a great fit for my mom.

I really liked the Brookdale Mansfield community. It was a really nice facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It looked very clean and well-maintained. It was open and bright. The only reason we didn't choose this community is that we had to choose a facility that was close to all of our family members to be able to visit dad often.

My father is starting to do better now since he has been settling in. The community is a little smaller than others we had looked at which I think helps my dad. He is starting to play bingo. He enjoys having meals with the other men in the community he raves about how good the food is. The staff is very friendly very nice and attentive to the residents. I would recommend this community

My family, and I had a good tour of this community, everything went well. The community looked very good from what we were shown. The staff we met was kind, and helpful. They answered our questions, and everyone was very friendly to my family, and I. They have nice, homey atmosphere around the community. The resident was very nice. The only issue we had was the room they showed us was small. It was a good experience, but not the facility for my father.

My mother is a very difficult person to deal with so I am very appreciative that this staff is very patient and understanding of our circumstances. Since I don't live nearby they are constantly keeping me updated as to how and what my mother is doing. The community from the one time I was there appeared very clean and well maintained. It's hard to say whether or not the food is good or not my mother says she eats whether or not she does I don't know for sure.

I toured Brookdale Troutdalelooking for a place for my loved one. It is a wonderful community. The atmosphere was very inviting. The landscaping was beautiful and well-kept. They gave a nice tour and explained what they would provide for my loved one. I ended up choosing another community that was closer in proximity to my home.
