Brookdale

The community is very clean, and our loved one is happy with getting 3 meals a day, but not really happy with the quality. There is also not a wide variety of activities, they seem to be pretty repetitive.

The staff has been very helpful. They're doing well and have stayed on top of things under extreme duress during all the Covid lockdown challenges. They've managed to keep their residents safe. We got lucky and got a big apartment at a good rate. There's plenty of space, and they take good care of it. They bring in regular cleaning, and the people who provide her personal care have been doing a great job. She tells me the food is good as well.

This was a nice community but my loved one liked another community and we went with it.

It's been great. I haven't had any big troubles so far. I would say explore it and come see if you like it. The staff is wonderful. Everybody is friendly. You'll probably have to buy a bunch of fresh groceries though, because they don't serve fresh food hardly ever. But my apartment is just beautiful. I have giant windows that I love.

We chose Brookdale Brighton because of the proximity to our home as well as the caring staff members. I felt that the staff truly cared about the residents, they have their best interest at heart and make it a personalized experience. The way Brookdale does it, everything is an extra charge, so it can get expensive fast. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and the community is very clean, extensive and nicely maintained. You definitely would be getting your money's worth here. However we just did not get that overall warm and fuzzy feeling, it did not seem like that had that personalized care it felt more cooperate.

I have lived here for five years. I feel safe and secure here. The director and staff are exceptional with handling and resolving senior living issues. Activities and food is above average.

They are doing a good job keeping the community clean and they have a fair amount of activities available. They are doing their best with the meals, it is hard with this many people to satisfy everyone so sometimes the meals are great and other times not so much. It is expensive but so far I have had nothing to complain about.

The staff were all extremely friendly and we liked the look of the facility, it was just not the right fit for my mom.

We've been happy with them. The director and placement director were very helpful with getting Mom and Dad in there, working within our budget, and making it all happen in a timely manner when we had to move quickly. They've been very responsive after that as well. And the facility itself looks good.

I think the art program could be improved and they could do more crafts, right now they just hand residents a crayon and let them color.

The staff members were very friendly during our loved ones stay and the community was always kept clean. They always had a lot of activities going on for the residents who wanted to participate.

I have problems with the food because I need a low sodium diet, and they don't have one here. When I talked to them about it, they said they would try to get some people together to come up with a solution. But in the meantime, I've just had to guess when I order, or prepare my own food. I think the cost is expensive, but I really like the place other than the food. They seem to have a lot of activities if you want to participate. The people here are just wonderful. They are extraordinarily nice. The building is wonderful. I would just tell others to shop around as far as pricing, because I didn't. I could be getting a good deal and not even know it - I just don't know.

Brookdale Summerfield is a nice place to be. Everyone is nice to be around and they are kind. The food is okay, and there are choices to choose from. The activities are good as well. for the residents.

Our tour at Brookdale Browns Creek was good. The staff seemed very friendly. I just thought the facility was a little small, and the rooms didn't seem as comfortable as the place we ended up choosing.

It's mediocre right now because of the pandemic. They're more or less on lock down, so it's hard to get a true feeling for what it's really like. There's not much going on as far as activities due to the pandemic. The staff are okay, but they're experiencing the typical labor shortages that are happening everywhere. The facility seems to be clean and organized though.

It seems like a very nice place. My mom is happy there. It's clean. I feel it's safe. And the food is good. If I had any critique, I wish that some of the nursing staff was a little softer and would communicate better with her.

During the tour it didn't feel as warm, and it felt like a hotel. The rooms are almost all the same size.

This is a good place. The staff care for the residents. The food consists of a lot of pastas and small salads. They don't serve a lot of food that I find appealing. For the most part there is one menu option available for the residents. They don't provide physical therapy for the residents.

It is a very friendly facility. I have had multiple family members here and we have had a fairly good experience overall. I do think my dad was mis-assesed and that he needs more care than they are able to handle. The existing staff here did the best they could to help him, but everyone agreed he needed more care. It is a great place if your loved is is more independent.
