Brookdale

They are superb. The food is like a four star restaurant. It has a chandelier, cloth napkins with beautiful holders, tables are positioned very nice. The residents are sat near others that compliment each other. They have an individual menu everyday. They order like they are a restaurant. The residents feel valued. They get appetizer with meals, it is very nice experience.

The staff at Brookdale Montclair are very kind. One of the key features for us was the location, it is very convenient for our family, and they also have Medicaid beds. We would recommend this community to other families.

This was a good community but it was not cost efficient for my loved ones needs. The tour was good and they gave a lot of info and made sure to be very thorough.

I think it's a nice, safe, pretty community. There are lots of outdoor spaces, and those appeal to me. I don't like the idea of high rises where you don't have access to the outdoors. All the apartments here have access to balconies or porches, which is quite valuable to me. There seems to be an adequate amount of space, and certainly plenty of choices for food. I'm looking forward to when it opens up more again and becomes more social. They're doing what they can now, for instance once a week on Fridays. I think it will be better when they're able to go out into the community - to the library, to church, out to lunch, that kind of stuff. But that's not their fault.

Brookdale staff are dedicated to their residents, but you do pay an extremely high price for that. Overall a good place, as they show genuine concern for your loved ones care.

I toured The Hearth at Castle Gardens and upon first impression it was good; they seemed to have a nice facility. I noticed that their memory care unit was kept completely separate, which raised concerns of whether or not my loved one would receive enough attention. I wasn't sure of how that would work, as we weren't able to see that on the tour. we chose a community that focused on memory care only.

Everybody is very friendly here, the staff are very caring towards the residents. It has a great family atmosphere, you can tell they don't just treat the seniors here as patients. We would recommend the Brookdale Manlius community to other families.

The staff is really good about working with people. They are very client oriented. The cost is expensive. The dining area is really nice. I think that the care services could be improved, but they are short handed. It makes things more difficult. I think they are doing the best that they can. The place is very clean.

Brookdale is awesome! although they could benefit from having more staff; the staff that are here are very cooperative and very helpful. you do receive a good value for your money. I honestly feel comfortable having my loved one here, I feel like she's safe at this community and that's the best part.

Brookdale's staff is marvelous. my dad especially loves the size of his room. they could maybe improve on serving the meals a bit faster and ensuring that they are hot. overall, they've done a fantastic job; my dad is safe here and well taken care of.

We chose Brookdale Englewood because of the close location and they just seemed to be the best choice that we had. It is really a great place and mom absolutely loves it here. They have a lot to offer for the residents, her favorite is the ice cream parlor. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I recommend being a little more upfront than I was regarding what they can physically do for your loved one. For instance, I asked for help for my loved one because he was not walking properly. I asked if they could help him walk, and they said "No, we don't do that here." So If you have the money, I feel like it's worth it to pay more for a facility that has enough staff to better accommodate health needs. I wish I knew that he would not be taken care of on a 1:1 basis as much as I expected, and perhaps I didn't know the right questions to ask before choosing a facility. He has fallen several times, and I think if he had more supervision the situation would have been much better. I like the staff - the nurse, assistant nurse, and the ones who assist my loved one. They're very courteous, and they do a good job of handling him when he gets confused while they're helping him and struggles, thinking they're trying to hurt him. I just wish they were better staffed in the evening. That's when I really worry about him falling.

Brookdale Clinton is a good facility. The staff are very caring people. They definitely have the residents' interests in mind. They pay very close attention to the folks who are there and do everything they can to meet their needs. They also offer tons of activities.

Our experience with Brookdale has been so far so good. The intake process was a bit lengthier than I expected, but things have been going well so far. I'm pleased with the level of care my loved one is receiving.

Better dining and food options. I felt they had one person overseeing all of the staff and she seemed overwhelmed.

I would recommend you bring your loved one to Brookdale Lake Mary. The help is caring, and the staff are on top of things. I believe the portions could be a bit larger for meals. Some of the activities available include bingo, karaoke, painting, and more for the residents to choose from.

My loved one is doing very well here, all the people are friendly.

The caregivers are fantastic. There is a staffing shortage it seems like. The response time for the residents when pushing the call button can be slower than expected. My loved one doesn't care for the food. The menus do look great to the family. The community gives us peace of mind, knowing our loved one is safe. The process of getting my loved one into the community. The marketing director is fabulous to work with, along with the front desk who is always. There are a couple of fantastic aides that care for my loved one.
