I would recommend Brookdale Chubbuck to other families looking.

We had a very positive tour experience with Brookdale Skyline. The facility was bigger and had more residents. WE decided to go with a smaller facility that seemed to have a better staff to resident ratio, that was better for our loved one and their care needs.

We toured with Brookdale Monroe and it was a nice tour experience. Everyone was very friendly, but the downside was the rooms and other parts of the facility looked very dated and old.

My loved one and family are very happy with Brookdale. The staff are very kind and make sure they say hello to me anytime I visit my loved one. This has been a very good experience for us. All the administrative aspects have been handled very professionally. They made sure that we had all of our questions answered, and understood all the details. There are three meals served a day. The apartment for my loved one has a nice sized kitchenette in it. The laundry service is provided by the community and done weekly, or as needed.

I toured Brookdale Meadow Springs and it was great! The facility was clean and all of the staff that I met were friendly. I will say, it definitely felt like more of just an Assisted Living facility. It didn't have as much of a 'homey' type feeling that some of the other facilities that I toured had.

Things have been pretty good overall at this facility. Communication with the family is pretty good. Housekeeping is done once a week and the thoroughness is good. I have noticed that they've been short staffed and have had a high turnover lately. As a result, the response time when my loved one presses his assistance/call button the response time is longer and could improve. Sometimes he calls me saying he pushed his button 30 minutes ago and is still waiting. The food could improve as far as quantity and variety. Overall though, I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

it was a nice community. I was very impressed. It was a larger community, so it would have been overwhelming for my loved one. Also, it was more expensive.

Responsive, knowledgeable staff keep track of medication details and communicate with health care providers. Recent improvement in availability of home health and physical therapy services. Residents seem to enjoy offered activities.

My first respite stay was great; however, the recent second respite stay, while I recovered from surgery, was even better. Programs and activities were wonderful. The fitness classes were accessible to all residents, regardless of condition. as well as activities with memory care. Food was well prepared and nicely served. Admins were great to work with and residents, as usual, were a joy to meet.

My parents are very happy at Brookdale Jones Farm. The staff are very welcoming and resident-focused. They're willing to work with you to address any health issues that come up so that your loved ones can remain in their apartment. The other residents are very friendly. My mother is really happy with the food. Of all the places that we visited, it felt the most like home for my parents, and that was important to me. Other places were fancier, which would have been more to my personal preference, but it was important to me that my parents had that more traditional setting that they were looking for. The location is beautiful. It's close enough to everything but not on a busy highway. It feels very secluded and lovely, and my parents feel very safe there. We're lucky to have found it!

We had a nice tour at Brookdale Portage. I thought that the staff seemed nice.

The care services was given a 3 and I feel this is being generous. I feel that the assistance with bathing of my friend could be better, as they are only watching over my friend, instead of actually helping my friend with this process. My loved one would like to see the dining be a little bit quicker. There are activities for the residents to participate in. Overall, I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

What we really like about the Brookdale Central community is the friendliness of the people there. It has a very positive cultural atmosphere to it with all the residents living there - that can really make or break a community no matter what fancy stuff you bring in to it. An area that we do think could be slightly improved is just the frequency in which our loved ones trash is taken out - we do understands it is partially our loved ones fault and she does hold that responsibility but sometimes when we walk into her apartment it smells. However based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

I chose Brookdale Union Park because it just felt right. They were very friendly and the sales lady who I worked with was very accommodating. Everything fell into place and is working out well. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Granted everyone has staffing shortages right now, we have our issues with that as well. But everyone who is here is so helpful. I was using a power chair before coming and they do not allow those here. I am getting used to a regular wheelchair and they are really helpful with helping me get to places and not making me do things by myself. The director is very approachable, her door is always open. During mealtime every staff member is in the dining room helping out. The only thing I have been disappointed in is the activities. We do have parties but there are not many actual activities to participate in other than bingo. They are a pet friendly facility as well. We have 3 dogs and a cat that I have seen so far. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Union Park to others looking.

Brookdale Johnson city didn't have memory care available at the time, so we could only do assisted living. They seemed very nice.

Our loved one seems to be doing well and settling in nicely here. She struggles with Wandering and the staff works with her very well to help manage that. The staff really goes the extra mile to look at individual resident needs here and helps them as much as they can. I would recommend this facility to friends and family. To those who have a loved one struggling with Wandering and are looking for a good facility, this place has been very good for our loved one. We needed a place that was able to keep eyes on her more often, and they do that very well here.

Brookdale has their act together. This is a clean, comfortable, and safe place. The staff are willing to work with the family. The food could be better, it would be nice to have more selections for dietary restrictions. I never heard the residents rave about the food available when I visited. [Name removed] was outstanding as the Marketing Director, he really took care our needs. The entire staff was great to work with as well.

Community is very friendly and for the most part the food is good and has variety. Medicine administration seems to be good and consistent. Downside - not enough staff to perform all the tasks as contracted. Poor service for housecleaning - promised once a week and they don't get it done on a schedule or even once a week. The staff don't always show up for the escort service to meals. The meal service is extremely slow. Mom and Dad have sat for an hour waiting for a meal. We know this because we have directly observed it ourselves.

[name removed] is an enthusiastic liaison with awesome customer service skills. The RN was kind and personable, very helpful in arranging my husband's respite care stay .
