Brookdale

I would say they were a beautiful facility with an awesome Executive Director and welcoming staff. They did a wonderful job caring for my father until the end. I would recommend this community to other families. It is in a great area. I was able to take my dad for walks in the Fall.

I think overall, this facility exceeded our expectations. The staff are very very nice to work with, very friendly and accommodating. The majority of the care givers are fantastic, all are very caring and respectful. The office team is also very very easy to work with and accessible. The meals are fantastic with several options to choose from. I would 100% recommend this facility to family and friends.

It was a good tour experience. The community was not as inviting, as other places. It was a more formal atmosphere, and some people like that.

The billing process was tedious and we had several issues in the beginning, but my mother-in-law seems very happy there. They have daily outings that she really enjoys. She has been more like her old self since she's been there. It has truly been a positive experience for her at Brookdale Cleveland.

Amazing community, my mother LOVES it! Facility is very nice , needs some updating (e.g. emergency lighting, bigger generator to support the building during storms. Most full time staff have been there for some time and are very kind and loyal but they are definitely understaffed post covid and don't have enough hourly help to support full dining hours or to have a team of handymen supporting the building need etc. Those are my only observations but again my mother being safe and in a caring environment that is bright and clean is absolutely everything. Thanks again for the referral!

We chose this facility because My uncle was just more familiar with Brookdale because his sister had been there previously. I feel like he wanted to go there because it felt familiar. I feel like overall the environment is very good. The residents there are happy and glad to help. They staff has been very helpful to my uncle as he was getting settled in. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Grand Court Lubbock to others.

[Name removed], our tour guide was very nice, but you had told us to look at the residents. They did not look happy! No one said anything to us unless prompted. The facility was just not as nice (not as clean, rooms smaller). And for more money. We had hoped that Wekiva would work out because much closer to our house.

The experience with the community has been good. They offer activites such as: games, church, and music. There is nothing that needs to improve. Overall, I would recommend to others.

Overall experience was hindered by staff not knowing how to work with a visually impaired individual as well as some promises made were not kept but workarounds were established. Quality of care was because they were understaffed and activities rated a 4 because again they did not know how to work with a visually impaired individual. When you are working with your clients, please let them know to ask in detail what is included and what isn't. This highly impacts the associated costs if you don't ask the questions

Seem to be struggling with understaffing and turnover just like all the other assisted living places, however, based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend the Brookdale Fort Collins Assisted Living community to other families.

The staff has been helpful to our familiy. Our uncle is often irratable, and uses bad language. We appreciate the patience shown to him. Meals could be seasoned more for his taste.

The executive director and all direct reports have been very helpful in all our moving activities and orientation to the facility

I would say it's a nice place for what it is. It works for my dad. Communication has been good .They are taking care of my loved one. I wish they would update the kitchen and bathroom in their apartments.

The staff culture at Brookdale Brea is very very friendly and focused on the happiness of the residents. It made the transition for my mother fairly easy.

We have been generally pleased. We haven't been here long enough to participate in activities. The few residents we've met are friendly. We've only had dinners but have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I wish there was a fitness room, a workshop, and an indoor pool, but this is Bennington, VT and those amenities are not realistically expected here. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Information and education was given as we made a decision to place our loved one. We always felt welcome to ask questions or get information. I would recommend them to other families.

The rooms are smaller but cost more. The views from the lower rooms aren't great. At Brookdale they didn't seem as involved with the residents. I think Brookdale would be better for slightly younger residents that want to be in the city. It has more of a country club vibe.

We toured Brookdale Pensacola and we liked the facility. The facility was clean. The friendliness was great from what we saw. However, their Memory Care unit was very small. The sitting area that they have for the Memory Care residents was small and not enough to accommodate the number of residents in the unit.

I enjoy living here and have met the nicest people. I think it's great that when I moved here I had 2 dogs (both friendly, nice breeds) so I was allowed to keep them! They also have an assortment of activities. EVEN A BIBLE STUDY!
