Brookdale

They are amazing. We have been working together to find the right fit for my dad. He started out in assisted living and now is in the memory care unit. Each step has been made easier by caring staff at Garden Manor.

When we went to visit the Clare bridge place Brookfield we found it to be everything what were looking for! It was a fiarly brand new community, looked very beautiful inside and out, we were very high on. the only downside for us was the cost of what we were willing to spend.

The staff is very friendly - they are always asking the residents how they are doing and checking in with them. They always greet the guests with a big smile as well. My dad is younger than most residents and it took a while to adjust, but he likes his new home. We recently went to a sock hop held for the residents - the party was free for the families as well. Everyone had a great time - the residents and families alike enjoyed the music and dancing, and all the staff was there on a Saturday night as well.

Out of all the facilities we toured, the Pacific Inn was the unanimous choice. Not just for the diversity of residents (which was very important to my Japanese/American dad) but for the first impression of friendliness and homey atmosphere. Residents and staff were active and involved. The tour was comprehensive and efficient and all questions were answered. Lunch was wonderful and the total experience was positive.

Our only visit we took was to the Sterling House of Tallgrass and we loved it! We like the fact it was a smaller community but it had the feel of independent living for all the residents. It had all the levels of care and the ammenities we what every family would look for. The only SMALL downside was the price was a little high but If we were to find the best fit for my mom this would be it.

The facility is very welcoming both in appearance and staff. The rooms are set up nicely and the big windows make them seem light and airy. The staff is great and seems to have a calming effect on the residents, which is one of the main factors that helped me choose Emeritus. They always take the time to stop and LISTEN to what a resident has to say. Moving a loved one into an assisted living facility is an extremely emotional process for all involved, but I can honestly say I see a difference in my father. He is stronger physically and he enjoys the independence and sense of belonging he experiences at Emeritus.

The apartments are well-sized and have nice screened patios. The staff is very friendly and have helped my mom feel comfortable. Of the places I toured, this facility was the most homey. Also the whole facility is one level, making evacuation, if needed, much easier. I would recommend Grand Court to anyone.

My mom only lived at Clare Bridge for only 12 days bc she passed away, but our experience there was very positive. The sales director Ginger Wolf was absolutely outstanding! She went above and beyond the call of duty to care for my mom and our family. The caregivers were all very friendly and nice, although my mom needed more physical nursing care and they don't provide the level she required. I would definitely recommend this facility to others. The employees seemed to genuinely love the residents.

The only problem has been getting the correct equipment that we need. I can't really speak to the activities very well. The food is ok, it's not a four star restaurant, but it's good. I can't think of anything that could be improved. The director was very straight-forward and would look you in the eye when you talked to her and seemed very genuine and I liked her approach.

I can't give enough praise for Horizon Bay. From the first day we were comfortable leaving our parents. The entire staff had been kind, caring and patient. They were even more amazing as we moved mom to the memory care center. After she passed away they were compassionate and were very attentive to dad. He enjoys the activities and his daily walks and visits with other residents. Highly revommended. They truly and genuinely carere for and about their residents.

We haven't been there very long yet, so I am reluctant to give fives. We have been very happy with them. I think the food could go up a few notches and be a little better. All in all I think things are going well so far.

We toured this location when we were looking into options for our loved one. We were very impressed by what we saw her, and our search eventually came down to this community and one other. This was a very nice looking facility, and the staff were all very friendly. They looked like they had a very good variety of activities as well!

Thank you so much for this service. I could not have found a place for mother without the help of Christine. She was wonderful. I have moved my mother to Sterling House in Tyler. The facility is wonderful and the staff is outstanding. I feel good about her being there and her care. I know she is being well taken care of and looked after. Thanks again for coming to my rescue when I needed it.

My father in law has dementia. We didn't realize how bad it was until my mother in law was put into a nursing home. We found a nursing home that would take both of them, but when she died, George really didn't need to be there anymore. We found Clare Bridge. He's doing so much better and he doesn't look so fragile anymore. The staff is so friendly and so are the residents. I'm so glad that we decided to move him. It was the best choice for George. It's a great place!

There were some communication issues in the beginning, Dr. orders that didn't get followed through with. The food is right around average sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not so good. It would be nice if they had a little more space or some more activities, or try to get them to join in a little more. The pricing was pretty good and the building and interior was a little more homey than others. There are a few people there that really know how to deal with her, which is great because she can be tough.

I moved my sister into Horizon Bay 8 months ago and could not be more pleased. There are many activities from which she can choose each day. The facility is now going through a complete renovation and it is going to be even more beautiful than before. I loved the appearance before but colors had become a little outdated and they are quick to make those necessary changes. New carpet, new furniture and NO wallpaper! The staff goes out of their way to make sure that my sister is happy and has anything that she may need. If she's not feeling well they bring her meals in until she feels like going to the dining room again. The food is absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! There is an extensive menu to select from for every meal and she can eat anytime she wants to from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.! I highly recommend Horizon Bay to anyone looking for a home away from home for their loved one.

I took my mother-in-law into tour the Brookdale Community and we were very impressed with the all the amenities. We were greeted with warm and friendly enthusiasm. The staff really seemed to care about some of the difficulties that we were going through and went above and beyond what I would have thought was the call of duty. They have been great through this whole thing, keeping my in the loop with how she has been doing since they took her in (I live on the other side of the US). I could go on and on about the staff and still feel like I haven't sung their praises enough but I will stop there. The facility not only looked clean, it smelled clean which was huge for me. (I have been to places for seniors that were quite odiferous). The environment was warm and inviting and the other residents were friendly and seemed happy as well. I was able to attend some of the activities with my M-I-L while I was there and she really seemed to enjoy the socialization with the other ladies. I really appreciate that there are well organized activities for her to attend and have an enjoyable life rather than living life through the window referred to as "TV". On top of it all, my husband and I now have peace of mind for her safety. She did not want to live where we are currently residing and we didn't know what we could do to accommodate both her needs and her desires. Once we walked into Sterling House of Mesa, our search was over. She told me, "This is home."
