People are great and very helpful

Our experience with Oak Tree Villa has been a good one overall! It is a very nice community, it's attractive and has a very friendly atmosphere. I like that it has an open, outdoorsy feel. Many of the rooms have balconies, and there are plenty of outside paths to take walks on. I also thought that the food was good, considering the number of people they have to feed. They've got a good salad bar!

Our family is very happy so far even though our father has only lived there for a short time. He enjoys the food and the activities. The staff has been very friendly for the most part, and the facilities are quite clean. Most of the requests we've made to maintenance to prepare his apartment have been taken care of quickly. It's in a great location - near many stores, restaurants and other services. The entire property is undergoing renovation, so there will be disruption for the near future, but in the end, the residents will have a very nice place to live.

The care services were good. I think it’s a good value for the money. We checked out a lot of different memory care homes. This place is clean, newer, refurbished, freshly painted… My loved one liked the food.

Nora at Emeritus did everything possible to place my brother in her facility. The staff is very friendly and professional in all ways. My brother has found his forever home and could not be happier. The meals and activities are unbeatable according to my brother. No matter what time of the day I go to visit him, it is very clean and inviting. I could not beat their rates after checking several other places. If you are on a limited income, you really get a big bang for your buck.

We moved my mother here after the previous community she lived in closed. For one, we were able to move her for almost the exact same rate as the previous community. The residence is very nice, clean, and the staff is great. They are extremely nice! Chancellor has allowed many more opportunities for my mother, like a variety of activities and onsite physical therapy. The food is nutritious, small portions, but it has helped my mother's health improve since she moved in. She was able to move into a great room on the ground floor and is close to the dining hall. Also, there is a wonderful garden in the back that is very accessible. Overall, I have been very impressed!

I would say that the staff is very professional and friendly. The residents all get along which was important to me. The services were delivered in a timely. Lots of activities. Not so spread out tha it’s hard to get around for elderly people. It’s one level - which is really important for people with balance problems. The food is good.

My mother is enjoying her stay thus far. Sarah, the individual in charge has been very helpful to my mother with forms and working with the doctor. The location appears to be a good fit . This review is (NOT) based on my own experiences,, but that of my mother. It is my genuine opinion of this community based on several conversations with her,

Beautiful villas with friendly staff. The food is excellent and there is a vast menu of activities. The perfect place for my loved one who can live independently while the family can be secure in knowing he's being looked after.

Really good job at assisted living. Once resident needs more help, need to have home health nurses visit. The food is really really very very good. Our resident will not be happy in Long Term care after being at Willowbrook. Great atmosphere.

The thing that disappointed me was the physical part of it. For the amount of money you’re paying for it.. the bathroom wasn’t in good order. It wasn’t always clean. It had one safety bar on the wall, but my loved one has PK and he needed more than that. The staff was extremely helpful.

I chose Emeritus at Baywood for a few reasons. One, because of first impressions on entering the facility and seeing resident residents actively moving around in their walkers and wheel chairs. They were very freindly. Second, Kim Cunetto and Judy at the front desk were very helpful with my concerns as well as the rest of the staff. Third, the whole facility appeared clean and well kept. After several weeks, my feelings and those of my Mom haven't changed. The care givers are great. Lastly, the Banner hospital is very close. I did reveiw other facilities and am very pleased with my choice.

My sister-in-law (86 years old) has been at Grand Court in Fort Myers, FL, for four-and-a-half months now and is very content there. At first, as expected, it was hard for her to give up what she'd had for 22 years on the East Coast of FL, but once getting there and adjusting, she really likes it and is very active. Everyone there is very professional, kind and helpful. They're in the process of putting in new windows right now which is disturbing for many of these elderly residents, but that too will pass when it's done. They are willing to take her to her doctors' appointments which has been a big blessing for me since we live 50 minutes from the facility. Food is very good, facility very neat, clean and cheery, apartments large and they have many many activities, parties, etc., which is terrific. I would highly recommend GC to anyone!!!!

The staff are helpful and were there to answer questions we had about the place and services. We looked at several places and this one felt the most comfortable to us. Right now my father is there and my mother will be joining him in the next month or so. There could have been more communication on how the care is administered so the transition would be easier. We moved Dad from a rehab/nursing home to here. There has been a period of adjustment for the whole family.

We love the facilities and the staff is top-notch. They really pamper my folks!

I visited Sterling House several times, both scheduled and unscheduled, before choosing it for my aunt. Every time the facility was clean, the residents' needs were being addressed AND the staff still made me feel welcome and answered all my questions. I like that it is a smaller facility and has a family atmosphere. I was also looking for a facility that is secure. The outside doors remain locked, but there is a courtyard available for residents who like to be outside. And although on weekends they sometimes seem to be short-staffed, it is the wonderful, caring staff that most influenced my choice.

We toured this facility but our mom at this time does not need this level of care. We were impressed by all it offered and may eventually need this

Jessie, Doug, Hope, Esther and everyone involved have been terrific. The staff is kind and so pleasant. I wish they could perform miracles and make my mother well but everyone definitely seems like they try to make every effort to assure my mom is comfortable.

They are good, there are some night people who don't like to work as much. They are very clean, that is one of the reasons we chose them. Andrea was awesome helping with the move in process. Denise is great too, she is the head of nursing. They get him up and moving, they have done a good job with that. We chose them because of how clean it was, and how friendly everyone was.

The staff at Emeritus is and was very caring and helpful from the very first contact. The medical staff all go out of the way to make the resident feel comfortable and to work up a care plan that fills the residents specific needs. All the staff do everything possible to help both the Resident and Families comfort level. I could not be more pleased with the over all care my mother is receiving. I am confident we chose the best place for moms quality of life at age 95.
