Brookdale

I toured this community for my mom. The staff was nice and the community was clean. The menu offered would have been offer seemed to be a good healthy variety. The community did not inform me if they had activities that might have been offered. We wanted a different feeling in a community but would recommend this community for families to tour for the options for care for a loved one.

My tour here was outstanding, I got to see the interaction with the staff and the residents during lunch time, they took their time showing me around, everything was nice and clean and there were a lot of amenities for the residents to choose from. In the end, our family thought that it would be best for our mom in Florida. I would really suggest that you come and take a tour of this community.

My friend is doing well here her room is spacious enough that she can move about in her wheelchair and the care giver that they helped me find for her has been great. She and I stay in touch on regular bases. There have been a few things like not having her dirty laundry done and not picking up her dirty dinner dishes when she eats in her room. I feel this is probably because they are a bit understaffed. The staff there do a very good job and they have been very helpful with my friend as she is in a wheelchair and they make sure she gets to be a part of the activities, she is an artist herself so she loves the arts and crafts, she even gets to go out on the outings with her wheelchair. I would definitely recommend a tour of this community.

The staff are friendly, attentive and encouraging. They offer daily activities. The food looks appetizing and they make sure mom is eating. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. I would recommend this community.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother while she has been staying at this community. She has been doing so well they are even thinking she will be able to come home soon. My mother has a much clearer mind and is walking very well on her own without any help. The staff have been amazing and have treated her just like a queen. Overall the experience has been pleasant and my mom has made big improvements from this place.

I chose Brookdale Chandler - the first place I checked out. Brookdale had exactly what I wanted, all the amenities, plus the best pricing plan I had received to date. I have been treated well, kept informed and assisted with the entire process. This is important for my peace of mind as well as seeing my father happy and enjoying life again. They have been great and went above and beyond for my mom. The size of the community allows a personal touch and she sees the same staff members everyday. It is still an adjustment for her and the staff have been trying. My experience with the staff has been great. They have been supportive with the things I have been asking for my mom's health issues. I like their support. The community looks and smells clean, there is a lingering smell of flowers. They also have little happy hours for the residents.

My in laws is doing pretty since their move into this community. They are doing well, and we are comfortable with their move to this facility. They have adjusted well, and we know they are in good hands. The staff is kind, and are taking good care of them, and their needs. The community is well-kept, everything looks nice when we visit. They keep the residents active with the activities they offer. This is a good, safe community, and I would recommend it.

This is a nice high rise community. They offer a pool and a small exercise room. I loved this community when I visited. I just felt the community we chose fit my loved ones better.

The staff at this community have done everything they could to make sure my loved one is happy and has the care they need. The food is good and the community is well taken care of. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

This was not a community that my mom did The staff were nice and caring to her. The community was nice and the. the menu was very good. The activities were really nice. They need to just work on the air conditioning due to the loud noise that should be improved. We would recommend this community for the good care and nice value for a loved one.

We liked the tour from this community. We found that the staff is nice and helpful. They had a list of nice activities for all of the residents who could participate. This community is clean with a nice atmosphere. they have a good menu and a nice list of activities. We wanted a bigger community but would recommend that families tour this community for the good care of a loved one.

We toured the Brookdale Englewood which was a very nice community. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They answered all of the questions we had. We chose another community that was based on our budget needs.

Mom is starting to get adjusted to living at Brookdale. I was not happy that no one came to see her when she first moved in. They have been great since then. I really like and trust the marketing director. The coordinator is really nice. They are taking good care of mom. Mom looks better and seems to like the food. They do her laundry and keep the community clean.

My mom has transitioned very well here, she loves being a part of all the activities and going on the great field trips they offer and she also enjoys going to the dining room for her meals and socializing with the other residents there. The food is very good and they have a nice menu to choose from. I also like that they have a nursing staff the help monitor her meds as well. I would definitely recommend this community it is beautiful, and the staff really care about their residents.

My dad is doing good and adjusted well. My goals were for him to eat on time, stay dry, and sleep well. They are helping with all this. He is in the assisted dining room where they go over the menu verbally for him to pick his meal. From what I have seen the meals look and smell good. I hear he talks with the others at his table and they try to guess what music is playing in the background. He has been to the sing-a-long a couple of times and goes to occupational therapy which is good. I always ask him if he likes living here. He tells me he likes the community. He gained a different view of assisted living. The staff are good and receptive to anything I mention to them. I would recommend them.

My sister-in-law is doing well here, the staff has been wonderful with her and her transition. She is starting to come out of her apt more and she really enjoys going to the dining room for her meals, in fact, she is really pleased with the menu. They are more than willing to accommodate us as we are in a different city so we do a lot of long distance and they make sure we are kept well informed. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Mom has just completed her first week at Brookdale i n Lake Charles, La. She certainly appears to be happy with the choice she has made. We hope the first week is a true expectation of the peace of mind we want for her and she is expecting for herself. Thank you very much and if requested we will provide comments in the future.
