Brookdale

I posted a review earlier that was critical about the difficulty entering the building. I am happy to tell you that Brookdale came up with a solution to the problem and I now am able to get in to visit my loved one. The care and atmosphere at Brookdale is excellent and they can fix problems that come up.

My cousin is here in this community and it is really nice and it's a new building. Not fully occupied yet. It doesn't smell and is very clean. Staff is nice and friendly. The grounds are nice and they have an indoor courtyard. The food is good and I would recommend this community.

I think this facility is very good and my mom is happy and content here. The staff takes care of all of the residents really well. They are friendly and helpful and are very nice to my mom. They have programs Monday thru Saturday and offer activities like exercise classes and Tai Chi. I would recommend this community to other families.

We like the room set up here. They were really accommodating for my mom and dad they combined 2 rooms together to make sure they had room. They like their rehab they are receiving. The staff is capable and ready to help out. Mom loves that she can keep her meds in her room and just get assisted when taking them. The housekeeping is good here and they wear an amulet necklace so they can call for more assistance. They are fed 3x a day with menu style food selection. The only thing is the portions are on the small size and tends to repeat often. They engage them to join the daily activities. It has a nice common courtyard area. I would recommend this community.

Mom has only been there for a week, but I think she will love it. It's a quite community.

Brookdale is a smaller place, which I like, and all the staff seem involved in taking care of the residents. They have been very good at adjusting to my dad's needs. The food is really good. I've had several meals there, and my dad has also been very happy with it. They have cards, memory games, and lots of field trips, outings, and social get-togethers to keep the residents engaged and stimulated. The community is clean, and I love that they have been letting me brings our dogs when I visit. Brookdale just has a good feeling about it. It feels more like a home, like a family than an institution.

My mom has dementia and she’s transitioned very well here. She says that the food is great and each day and each meal is different. They serve the same meal to everybody but there are different meals every day of the week. From what I’ve seen, they don’t have a lot of fried food. I think they have a good balance of protein and vegetables and they get a salad for lunch and dinner as well as a dessert. The facility is kept very clean and they clean her room once a week as well as do her laundry several times a week. It is assisted living so each person has their own private room and there are individuals that might have accidents so the odor can be evident but I’ve been very impressed overall with the cleanliness. They have a few activities available like crafts and trivia, but there are different activities every day. Some days they’ll have spa days for the ladies where they’ll do their nails and hair, some days they’ll sing hymns, and they have field trips where they’ll take the residents on a bus to different places. They really offer different varieties of things for those who are able to participate. The one thing that’s really helped my mom has been the staff, the director, and the administrative people. They’ve been wonderful in helping us with any questions we have and being able to direct us to the right places. They’ve been kind, gracious, very patient, and they sit down with us whenever we need them to. They’re even helping us figure out how Medicaid is going to work when my mom eventually has to use it. I would definitely recommend them.

It is a joyful, wonderful place for my parents. They treat all the residents with respect and tenderness. Every day is a new adventure for each person living there. I am amazed at the programming available to my parents. Every day they have 4-5 different things they can attend if they want. It never falters...they are so amazing getting people engaged. My parents grieved a bit during the transition and the care team was spectacular caring for them by letting them grieve. Now, my parents are joyful and engaged in the life they have there. We are so very thankful for Brookdale Eagan. Can't praise it enough!

Brookdale Oaks is a great place in my opinion. Residents that I am acquainted with there all say great things about the place they live. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

A Place for Mom helped us by forwarding us information on assisted living homes in our area. We are blessed to have found and placed mom at Brookdale Tramway Ridge. The facility is clean and the staff are beyond caring and friendly. Mom is extremely happy with her new home. Thank you Brookdale for all you do to be a top-notch home for our loved ones.

The openness, the atrium's made this structure, building, so inviting that I said: "this is it!" Brookdale North Boulder was the best community we (my California children as well as my Colorado children visited-toured). Delighted to be here!

Englewood Meridian is a warm and caring place to be at. My wife has been with the company for over 6 years and has helped out at other sites and you don't get the welcome home feeling you get at the Englewood Meridian, I would move in here when I retire.

This is a very nice community, bright, clean open and the staff are very friendly. My mom has just recently moved in and she is still going through some adjusting. She really likes her room and with her furniture all moved in it feels more like home for her. Together with the staff, we have been encouraging mom to start taking part in the activities so that she can start making friends and to go to the dining room during mealtime, but she is still not comfortable doing that so they do bring her meals to her room. Mom was used to the aides that came to her home and stayed to visit with her so she thought it would be the same here, and we explained one of the reasons for her move here was so that she could make friends with the other residents. It will just take time some time and the staff really are working with her. I would definitely recommend taking the tour here to see the community first hand.

We were impressed with this community and the tour that the staff gave. They took their time showing us around and they answered all our questions. There were a lot of different amenities offered for the residents to take part in and we felt that my brother-in-law would be a good fit and would have been our 2nd choice for him.

The caregivers at this community are excellent and take good care of my loved one. The food seems to be ok. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. I am pleased with this community and I would recommend it.

My aunt is pleased with her move to this community. She is doing, and as far as know everything has worked out well. We chose this community because it is not very big. It is smaller compared to the other community's, but it is easier for her to navigate through. We are satisfied with her move to this community, it is a nice place.

The staff have been great about helping mom adjust to living at this community. They are encouraging and attentive. The community is well taken care of inside and out. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

Brookdale Nacogdoches was a good move for dad and he is settling in well. It is a clean and well-kept community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They are very welcoming to our family members when we come to visit. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my dad's care needs. It is easy to communicate with the staff any questions or concerns regarding his care. They keep me well informed. I have not dined there yet, but I have seen the meals they prepare and it looks delicious. We feel he is in very good place with lots of care provided. We feel good that he is safe and secure. He likes to wander so we are very happy with the security that they provide. I would recommend this community to others.

This is a nice community for care. We like the knowing that she is carried for. The staff should be more attentive. The menu needs to be improved in a few areas. They do have activities for the residents. The community is maintained. We would recommend that families tour the community to make a decision on the care for a loved one.
