Brookdale

For the most part, my mother is having a great experience. We did run into a few issues so far, such as the fact that there was nowhere to place a hand drying towel, or that some of her things have gone missing temporarily, but the staff are good with solving these issues in a timely manner, and we've gotten all of these issues fixed. The location was also great for our family's needs. We are having a fine experience so far.

When searching for a place for my father in law, we toured Brookdale Montrose. It was a very nice place, the tour guide was very helpful and the community was clean. It was a good experience to tour.

We liked this community when we visited. The staff we met were nice and the community was taken care of. They offer some nice amenities. This community did not have an opening when we toured it.

We toured the Brookdale South Charlotte and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The community looked very clean and inviting. We were looking for a smaller community as my dad is blind and needs closer supervision and the resources to care for his needs.

Brookdale Wedding Park is a beautiful and clean community it just wasn't the right fit for my dad. They didn't offer the level of care we needed for my dad who is blind. The staff was great and they tried their best, they just didn't have the resources on hand to care for my dad. He needed a different type of environment set up because he has a tendency to wander. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Weddington Park for others that wouldn't need the level of care that we required.

It was a rough adjustment process at first for my mother with her move to this community. We did think we were going to have to move her. However one day she called me, and said she moved into a bigger apartment. Since then everything has been working out well, she needed some time to adjust. The staff was great with trying to help her get use too the routine around the community. They have a great activities director. The community is nice, and well-kept when I visit. There has been issues with the food. She isn't that fond of chicken, and fish, and that is what they tend to serve a lot. Hopefully they can accommodate better with meals. Overall she is safe, and in good hands in this community, and I would recommend it.

The staff and residents are very welcoming. The apartment is very comfortable...the food is quite good. It just takes time to adjust to new surroundings.

The entire staff at this community is great. They take excellent care of mom. The food is really good. They have a wide variety of choices for each meal including soup or salad, various vegetables and side dishes. They also have a variety of main courses. It is like a restaurant and you can choose how much you would like. If you are staying here and you are no longer able to be self pay than this community will accept medicaid. The community is well taken care of and I would recommend it.

We toured this community for my father care. We liked the staff who were caring. We wanted a community that had a nurse on staff in case my father needed care. The community is clean and maintained. They offer a nice menu of meals that are helpful for the residents. The activities are nice for the residents who want to participate. We would recommend that other families take a tour to see if this is what they are looking for.

This is a beautiful community. The people were friendly and helpful. They seemed to offer some nice amenities. This community was definitely an option, however they did not offer transportation on Sunday.

Mom broke her foot and her shoulder and needed to go somewhere that could take care of her for a short amount of time. She really liked the place the staff was amazing king, friendly and was always right there when you rang the call bell she never had to wait for help. She really enjoyed the food while she was there. Mom had recently said that if the time comes she would go back there on a regular basis but for the moment the pricing is a little out of her budget range

When we brought my dad to this community for a tour, he took one look and liked this place. It is closer so I can visit him more and it has been a great fit. The staff are making an attempt to get him active and invite him to the dining room. He is starting to get out of his apartment more now. We brought him there for socialization. The medication process has been a good change for my dad.

Everything is wonderful for my mom and she has tried a few activities. She is waiting for instructions on how to play some other games that was at a different place. The meals taste bland and some of the meals have tough meat and tough veggies, she is having an issue with that. They told us they have a doctor that comes to the facility, which is the main reason we picked them. We made an appointment and the doctor did not show up. I am not happy about that because we made a trip to the community and we need her to get set up for homecare.

The staff at this community have been very helpful and encouraging. They listen to us and make notes to communicate with the other staff members. One staff member has been extra supportive and has explained what is happening with my mom's condition. The only draw back I can see is that the one bedroom apartments are at the far end of the hallways. The residents are friendly. They accommodate mom's eating habits. They do offer some daily activities.

I have worked at Brookdale Austintown for almost 10 years and absolutely LOVE what I do! The company has been very good to me over the years! I am truly blessed!

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. I am comfortable with the care the staff have been providing and could have not picked a better group of people to take care of her. The property is always very well maintained and they help my mom keep her room nice a clean for her. Overall we are very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

We chose Brookdale Brookhurst for a few reasons. First the staff is friendly and personable. And the size of the location is not overwhelmingly big. It was in our price range and there wasn't any pressure to sign and no up selling efforts. It just felt like the right place for our mom so we placed her ther a month ago and she is very happy. We feel she is going to be able to age in place there and as her care needs increase Brookdale Brookhurst will be able to meet all her needs.
