Brookdale

We liked this community when our loved one stayed here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The community was clean and the food was good. They did offer some daily activities. I would recommend this community.

Have to applaud the staff on their ability to transition my mother in a safe, compassionate way which made the family feel that the right decision had been made. They are planning a welcome party have been diligent about keeping us abreast of progress and adjustments needed to make my mother more safe and comfortable. I thank God for caring staff who embrace us as we enter to fellowship with Mom and just knowing she has access to 24 hour care has truly eased our minds and hearts in regards to making the best decision for her.

My Dad stayed here for a two weeks respite. He had a great time and the staff was wonderful. I will repeat this experience when we need to be gone on extended trips again.

We toured this community. My mom and dad needed a place to call home. We liked the staff who were caring and able to show us this nice clean environment for care. The menu looked appealing and the activities would have been good for them to participate. We would recommend this community to other families for the care of their loved ones.

The facility is clean, well lit and well kept. The staff is polite, helpful and compassionate. My parents have been there for 2 months, and are very happy there. They are in the Clare Bridge wing of the building. The staff there respect the dignity of each person there, and everyone I encountered during my visit was kind and did their job well.

I have no complaints about my loved ones stay so far at this community. The staff have been outstanding and I am very comfortable with the quality of care that they are providing for her. The meals have been well prepared and she enjoys participating in some activities with the other residents from time to time. I have witnessed the staff in action a couple of times and have been very impressed with how well of a job they did. Overall I am very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff at Brookdale was nice and helpful when mom had her short stay here. The food was good and they offered healthy options. There were some nice activities and the community was well taken care of. I would recommend this community.

We toured this community. We liked the staff. The community seemed small and we did not want a second floor for my mom. The menu seemed appealing. And the list of the activities. Families should consider a tour of this community for the care of a loved one

The first thing I had noticed about this community since my mother-in-law has moved in is how friendly and helpful all the staff have been to her. They are always happy and very professional in there work. She has gotten settled in and is making new friends with the other residents. The only thing I would say could use some improvement is the meals they provide. They are generally good, but sometimes the quality is inconsistent.

The food is good, nicely prepared and there is a nice variety.They have certain options available every meal as well as a menu you are able to order from. They do a great job of taking care of the building. The staff have treated us very well. The sales and marketing director as well as the administrator on site have been wonderful. They have followed up with us in a professional and thoughtful manner. I would recommend this community with no hesitation.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting in this community. We find that it is clean and enjoying inside and out. The staff are nice and caring to her needs. We find that the menu is appealing and a nice variety of healthy meals are served. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

My loved one is adapting to her new lifestyle very well. A lot better then we were expecting and that is comforting. We toured lots of communities and this location had a great atmosphere really stood out compared to the others. We had a few concerns that we easy spoke with staff about and they were eager to resolve them. The food is pretty good but a little costly for outsiders. They have lots of activities but my loved one has been busy making friends! They really enjoy spending time together in whomever's room they choose to hang in! I would recommend this place to anyone looking.

We are extremely impressed with the level of care and concern the entire staff at Brookdale Charlotte East has shown. Truly caring individuals who obviously have the residents best interest at heart.

The staff at this community are attentive and most of them seem to care about the residents. They keep the community clean and they offer some activities. The food is very good and we like that they have a separate meal area for residents that are a little more active so they can make friends. I would recommend this community.

Really enjoyed our tours (went multiple times thanks to my OCD nature) and ultimately thought this was the best 'fit' for Dad. Lovely environs, good sized rooms, nice common areas, and close to many activities in Chapel Hill/Durham (not to mention only 15 minutes from my house). I've got high hopes he'll make new friends and enjoy his new home.

This community is over the top gorgeous. It is in a great location and the grounds are really pretty. The staff I met were friendly and helpful. This community was just a little out of our price range.

My mom has been here for four years. The staff is very respectful and attentive to her and other residents for all their needs. The facility has an atmosphere of home and is well furnished. Every effort is made by the kitchen staff to provide the residents with a variety of meals that also meet their nutritional needs. Special activities are scheduled throughout the month that keep the residents engaged. Management has an open-door policy to discuss any special needs or concerns that arise. It is my true belief that management and staff have only the best interest and well being of all residents. With the special needs and attention my mother requires, I am greatly relieved that she is at Brookdale where I know her needs are being met by attentive, friendly, and caring professional staff.

My husband has been having a hard time adjusting since his move in. the staff, from what I have seen, have been trying to help him get comfortable. When I go visit him, the facility is always clean and maintained very well. Everyone is very nice.

My loved one was only at this community for a short respite stay but ended up loving it so much that she is going to make it a permanent move. The staff have been wonderful to her and treat her just like family. She has had no complaints about the meals and has enjoyed the activities that they provide throughout the week. Overall we are very pleased and would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

The staff at Brookdale Denton South has been wonderful so far. My mother is still adjusting and mentions that she is not happy, that is her personal feeling. The facility is very clean and they are able to accommodate mom's needs well. We have decorated her room to feel more like home.
