Brookdale

So far everything has been good. The only thing she has complained about is the food. I think she just needs to ask for thing that she would like. Everyone is very friendly and nice. They seem to take good care of her. She is already going out on trips with them and seems to be going to activities that they offer. They seem to have activities going on all day long for the residents. I feel comfortable with her living at Brookdale.

I am a very active senior but can no longer drive at night and my diabetes is not well controlled. I have no nearby relatives and make decisions for myself. I reviewed about 400 senior communities in Georgia, visited 15 and Brookdale Chambrel was the one I couldn't forget. I've lived here for only two months but I am certain that I am in the right place. People and staff are consistently friendly and I can rely on assistance as needed as well as full assisted living. The meals are delicious and the kitchen could not be more accommodating. My cat and I love the generous-sized screened in porch where I can step out my porch door onto the grounds. The trees are tall and the flowers beautiful. People like it here.

The management and staff are extremely customer friendly. They were very patient with my father who went through a period of adjustment in transitioning from his single family home to a spacious one bedroom apartment. My father has made friends with a group of men who h dines with and now looks forward to seeing them daily. He is very active with the activities available according to the staff. As a nurse, I think I have a realistic expectation of what assisted living facilities can provide and Brookdale does a very fine job. The first month I had to advocate for my father and speak with the DON to review monthly charges and make sure that we are being charged for the appropriate level of care and I think that this is good advice for any family at any facility as they are for profit. I would recommend Brookdale to others.

While my sweet father just passed, I wanted to take the time to thank the staff at Brookdale North Gilbert for taking excellent care of him for the past 2 years. Early on there was some turnover of management, but the facility now has an awesome group of staff and caregivers. I spent a lot of time with my dad at the facility and watched the interaction between the caregivers and my dad and the other residents. They treat the residents like their own family members. It was a relief knowing that my father was in such good hands. The caregivers got to know his likes and dislikes and were always respectful and compassionate. The facility feels like a home, and the caregivers make you feel like family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Brookdale is a true blessing for my family and my aunt! The staff and the residents are AMAZING! :)

My Aunt has been at Brookdale Kenmore for over a year now and is doing extremely well. The staff and managers are attentive, the food is excellent and served restaurant style. Plenty of activities. Great location!

Last fall, my brother asked me to find a place for him to live with assisted living. I feel so fortunate that a unit in Brookdale Lake Orienta was available. He loves it there. His apartment is roomy, bright and a perfect replacement for his former private home. The food has been very good. Who wants to be somewhere where the food is just so, so? The dining room is like an upscale hotel, very pretty. Activities are always going on...from bingo to exercises to educational to musical and other entertainment. Holidays are celebrated in style. The staff works very hard, keeping all the areas clean and inviting. Most importantly, the staff responds in a timely manner when needed. Our experience with Brookdale Lake Orienta has been very good. I would recommend it to others.

I have found Brookdale to be all [name removed](sales) said it would be and more. From the time you arrive you are made to feel welcome , residents and staff are right there introducing themselves. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. [name removed] ,head of housekeeping is right on top of thngs as is [name removed], head of Maintenance. [name removed] the head chef offers a varied and interesting menu, delicious as well. Resident input is always welcome. Each month holds are bevy of activities geared for different interests and abilities. You are never bored.[name removed], head of activities sees to that. Again resident input is always welcome. On days as lovely as today sitting outside in the gardens is perfect for chatting, reading or just relaxing. And of course Brookdale is pet friendly, so you don't have to leave your best friend behind., even if you are unable to do the walking yourself, there is staff happy to accommodate. And in one case a more mobile resident is thrilled to have a dog to walk again!

Prior to signing, the staff was very helpful and informative. They understood that the cost of memory care was high and were willing to work with us on move in date(s) and other financial options. They were patient with us as we moved in and decorated the room for mom. The nursing staff was attentive and caring in her final days, They also integrated and worked well with Hospice of the Valley staff, and so we have no qualms in recommending Brookdale. Just be patient with all of the paperwork that needs to be completed beforehand.

Even though. I decided to go another route with my Mom's care. The team at Tanglewood oaks was outstanding in their professionalism. They explained in detail on how they would have provided the necessary care for my Mom. I wish the best of the facility and if you ever want to leave a loved one, this is a great community for them to be in.

My loved one lived at Brookdale Echelon Lake and she absolutely LOVED her experience. In a trying time in her life, battling cancer, Brookdale Echelon Lake was our families savings grace. We were put at ease from the moment our tour began through-out the entire move. My Mom's concerns about moving into a senior community were answered honestly when we asked hard hitting questions. The staff truly cares about their residents and takes pride in their service. The building serves all walks of life and even accepts Medicaid after 1 year of private pay. This is a niche community, 1 year private pay, water front lake views and close proximity to a shopping mall and the library. My mom felt independent and like she still had a life to live while at Echelon Lake.

Our family has been happy with Mom's stay at Brookdale Bayshore. Her efficiency room is stylish and easy to maneuver with the walker. We love looking at Tampa Bay out the wall to wall windows. The staff is super friendly as well as meeting our needs. There are numerous activities scheduled each day. the dining hall has a restaurant style menu with several options at meals. this is a nice home and Mom is happy here.

My Mom moved into Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle three years ago. One year ago she moved into their Memory Care, Claire Bridge. It was a hard transition for her, but the nurses up to Administration made it much easier for her. I am so thankful that I don't have to worry about her care. They take her to lunch at a restaurant once a month, country rides in their bus. A lot of musicians and hands on activity for her. They are all very caring, kind and helpful. Mom and I have made friends but we feel they are family.

I moved my husband here because I wanted him to have activities that would help him to have a better quality of life. The written program looked fantastic, but I find the proposed activities don't always happen. Granted the Activities Director is new and just getting organized, so hopefully it will get better... My concerns about caregivers were quickly dispelled. They are very attentive and loving. Everyone is friendly and most helpful. Visitors are welcomed and made to feel part of the family. My husband is pleased and likes being here after an initial adjustment to change. Since he is comfortable and safe, I am able to relax and worry less! (Sorry, but that is what caregivers do!)

From the moment I entered the building I had a sense of calm, efficiency and friendliness. I was there to find a place for my 60 year old son who has Parkinson. My questions were fully answered. My son has now been there for a couple of months. He is doing extremely well and speaks very highly of the care he has received.

[Name removed] really loves living at Brookdale. He raves about the chef and finds those activities in which he is interested to be very helpful and entertaining. He’s also very relieved that his rehabilitation has resumed so he doesn’t fall behind physically.

The people who work at Pinehurst Park were fantastic, the security was tops. [Name removed] was there 30 days and passed away.

The people at Brookdale have been wonderful. The residents and staff both are so friendly and helpful which is making the transition for my parents, who left their own home to live at Brookdale, so much better. The apartment is the best I found in my search for a senior community. It's large and bright and the floor plan is logical and efficient. Any problems we encountered are being worked out. All in all, we are all happy with our choice.

Staff very friendly, attentive and helpful The facility is clean and nicely decorated--first class !! Activities are very stimulating and well run Both my mother and aunt are residents and are well cared for and happy. Kudos to all !!

I recently spent 5 days in Florida visiting my Brother in Law and my sister who is,a resident at Merrill Gardens. Having made the recommendation that she go there I was anxious to visit and see the,facility first hand. I was,very impressed with everything. Her room the common areas both inside,and outside, activities, meal selection and of course the Staff. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. I am speaking for myself,but feel my Brother in law would,agree. Thank you.
