Brookdale

This community is open airy and bright. It is easy to get around as it is all on one floor. They have living rooms/ seating areas scattered the community. They have nice outdoor spaces that are safe and secure for the residents. The food is pretty good, my dad seems to like it. One thing we did find is that there are some folks that like to go outside and walk around even in the colder winter weather and the outdoor area is not open for them to do this.

Would give them 10 stars, but only 5 was available. By far the most most competent best place for memory care. My mom, a difficult case, is doing great at Brookdale, where as no other memory care was able to manage her. The best management and the best staff - they provide high level of TLC and totally on top of things giving me a complete piece of mind. If you are in need of great memory care for your family member, I recommend Brookdale Dublin highly!

They take very good care of my dad. They give the attention he needs and work on keeping him active and social. He's doing much better now that he gets his meds when he's supposed to. They really try to plan activities the residents like to do. Residents all appear to be happy and well cared for. The staff also seems to be happy and is always very helpful.

Brookdale is an excellent place for your love one. Safe, awesome, and friendly. The dining area use linens and silverware at every meal. The difference activities is good the residents. As they told me they are not patients but residents. You can dine with your love one at any time, even spent a night. Three nourishing meals and desserts. Movie night, games, such as brain game, take them to church, short trips. Try it and you would love it. Oh there a 24 nurse on hand, handyman at all time to hand pictures, curtains,etc.

Overall value here is good. No matter where your loved one goes you must visit and check in on them to assure all is going well. It's common for their things to be misplaced in a memory facility. Sometimes it's just the patients picking up the wrong things and it's not always the staff. I have heard people complain about this type of thing. We sometimes call ahead to assure she has a fresh shower when we take her for a dinner. They do this, but not daily so they are very good about getting her ready for us to get her. She also sometimes gets her nails done and they have fun activities. My favorite is when people come in and read to them and they also have Sunday services. Her room is really nice and better then the one she had in assisted care. Many of the patients are worse than she is so it's a little sad to see this. That said she could not find her way back to her room, dress herself or take a shower so it was time to make a move. We try to talk with the staff and get to know them I do feel this does help with the care a lot. We also put my mother in law on an anti depressant and this eased any irritability so it's much better for her now.

My mother-in-law was a resident of Brookdale Anaheim Hills for about 7 months last year. We toured about 4 or 5 other locations in Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda. She liked this one best due to the friendliness of the staff and residents, the cleanliness, and the food. It just seemed to have the best culture and she felt the most at home here. They offer many activities and the residents seemed happy. She enjoyed the food and they kept the place very clean. [Name removed] was very helpful and kind. She, [name removed] and some of the other staff were familiar with my mother-in-law's daily routine and would notify us if there were any concerns. Some of the front desk staff weren't always as friendly as they could have been but the other staff were top notch. The cost was comparable to other locations. We are happy that she spent the last few months of her life here and received great care.

My husband and I want to thank all the loving and caring employees who work at Brookdale for all of their support and concern relating to [name removed]. Sadly, [name removed] passed away on [date removed] at Samaritan Hospice. She had many medical issues. [Name removed] stay at Brookdale started last December 2018. She would always tell me how wonderful everybody was and she never felt alone. God bless all of your staff for giving [name removed] the proper treatment and care she so deserved. I would highly recommend Brookdale Echelon Lake to anyone who needs to place a loved one in an assisted living environment. When my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in August of 2017, I was given 60 days to find a new home for her. Complicating the situation was she (and I) were located in Dallas, TX, but her wish and her son-in-law/grandchildren's wish was to re-locate to Waco (~110 miles south of Dallas). So walking into Brookdale Lakeshore for the 1st time was very stressful, as I'd been to a couple of other assisted living places in the area that were highly recommended, yet when I visited them they were either poorly maintained or the staff were indifferent to our challenges (or both). THANK GOD WE FOUND BROOKDALE LAKESHORE! My girlfriend (now wife) who is a health insurance agency owner suggested we check them out, and we immediately knew it was the place for my mom. From day 1, the management team there (Betty & Ed) took the time to hear our needs and reassure us that she would get excellent care there. She is currently in her own 1 bedroom apartment as she is still able to manage the majority of her daily needs. But the staff is always available and willing to help her with other tasks that she either forgets or has totally forgotten how to do. Alzheimers disease is terrible for the patient and their family, and while many think they can care for the patient in their home, I knew as a single man at the time that it just wouldn't work. Brookdale Lakeshore just blew away the other assisted living situations in the Waco area that we reviewed for cleanliness, support, and activities for the residents. And most importantly,, when she becomes qualified for Medicaid, she will be able to transition in place there so as not to have to go through the stress of having to find another place to live (of likely much lesser quality). My mom's 1 year anniversary there was on Oct 15th, and I cannot thank Ed, Betty, and the entire staff enough for their help, support, and love to make her living with Alzheimer's as comfortable as possible. I am so thankful to have found Brookdale Lakeshore in Waco for my mom, and I highly recommend them to anyone that has a family member dealing with Alzheimers or dementia to check them out for their services. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!

Brookdale Federal Way is a wonderful place and I will forever be grateful for the all the help they gave my mother. They have many caring people who go out of their way to assist people in need. It's a job most of us would run away from, but somehow they have they have managed to pull in some really wonderful caretakers.

Brookdale Arbor Place is a caring, comfortable place. The staff are great, the food is wonderful, and the many activities each day give me an opportunity to get out of my apartment and enjoy fellowship with others. The staff have always taken time to listen to me and help me with any needs or concerns. I would recommend this to any senior. Because there are several levels of care, I hope to be able to stay here as long as I live.

My father and his wife, in their nineties, really needed a place where they could live independently but with professional services available. We looked at several communities in Kingsport, and finally we found the perfect place . . .Brookdale Rock Springs. The facility is beautiful and so is the setting, and the professional care that my father has received in his first month as a resident has substantially improved his health and his ability to function independently. The move in was easy, and although there has been an adjustment period, Dad seems happy with his new surroundings and his new friends.

Let me tell you how wonderful this place; I call they answer. I do surprise drop ins and each of the staff is on top of residents needs. My mother chose this place because she was confident they would tend to her, and they have. I love the staff, as does my mother. They make sure she is 100% happy and I admire how well they treat the other residents. It smells clean all the time, it’s well kept, and even I love the food when I’m over for lunch. If ever you have a question; the director, the nurse, Med techs will always take time to answer your questions and make you feel just as welcome as your loved one.

I think everyone does real well. I would live here if I had to.

In searching for a facility to care for my wife I found Brookdale to be above the others interviewed in the areas of appearance, organization, location, the personnel that we dealt with and the overall operation. The staff members at PP continue to impress me with the genuine care and service provided to all patients. I have observed that right now there may be some areas understaffed because of recent transfers and turnovers. This hasn't seemed to present any problems yet!

My mom is in Brookdale Niagara memory care. We love the place. The workers are nice, she is always clean, they have plenty of activities to keep them busy, the food is good. her room is good size and bright and on a lot of Thursday they go places. I definitely would recommend this place

Mother had a stroke on her very first night at Brookdale North and was never able to go back. We released the apartment at the end of July when we knew for sure she would not be able to return. All of her belongings were removed and the apartment left clean and clear. The management was advised and she was taken off the roster as of the end of July. Having said all of this, Mother would have LOVED being there!!!! She was excited to have her things around her and everyone had made her feel so very welcomed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing care for their loved one!

Mom [name removed] and I like the smallness of this community as it feels like home. The menu has a nice variety and the food is very tasty. Care givers are compassionate both to residents and family members.

My son brought me down here from Ohio 1 1/2 years ago. He chose Trinity and my apartment for me before I came. I could not be happier or more content. I was not mentally ready to retire but physically I was in pretty bad shape. In this past 1 1/2 years my health has improved 80%. My mental activity is quite content as I have found several volunteer positions in which I can contribute to the Trinity Towers community. As far as the care here I couldn't ask for any better. From the front desk staff, the service and food in the dining room, to the maintenance personnel, they all get an A+ from me. They are friendly, prompt, and efficient. What more can I say? I love it here and my son made a great choice for me. As far as cost, I couldn't ask for better value for my money. I have a studio apartment on the 17th floor overlooking the CC Bay, The view is nothing short of spectacular and every apartment has it's own balcony. Thank you Trinity Towers and all the staff for being here for a contented retiree.

Due to my illness I cannot get over there often but I don't worry because I know everything will be taken care of. The staff was able to encourage him to do things that other places or me could never do. Great place.
