I love that this facility (company) focuses solely on memory care. I really liked the activity areas scattered throughout the community that might engage a resident. This is my first choice should I need memory care for a family member.

I have been very impressed wuite frankly, the staff is great, my mother loves them, they're very accomodating, helpful for her and they're just very pleasant people. I have been very satisified and I can't say anything negative about them. The only negetive thing I could think of, and it's partly my fault, is I'm not doing the prescirption pharmacy they prefer because I can get them much cheaper through Rx outreach. I don't think Diance really likes it because it's a little more work for her and sometimes I need to remidn them about the doctor writing prescriptions. The food is good, the place is clean, there's no untowards smells and from what I've seen of the interactions all of the residents are very comfrotable and I've been very pleased.

Excellent community. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of activities and special events to chose from. They truly are there to assist you in any way they can. Their Alzheimer's section is one of the best, residents are well cared for given individual attention with activities to suit their various stages of Alzheimer's within the unit. I would give them a 5+ rating.

They are really friendly and everyone here just so down to earth. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and inviting. It's not stuck up at all! We really like Chambrel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a community for their loved one.

This community is very nice and we are really enjoying it. Everyone here is so helpful and very nice. We really liked the atmosphere, it is warm and inviting. The residents are not just sitting in wheelchairs they are engaged in activities and moving around. The residents really seem to be happy and so does the staff. The community smells lovely, not like an old person home or a hospital. We feel like it was a great choice and I would recommend it to anyone, in fact I already have.

We had my mother-in-law in there for 3 months and the service, the personnel, the staff, everybody was wonderful. We brought her back home because she leveled out on medication and the doctor said she could come back home so now we have home caregivers coming in but we were very satisfied with Clare Bridge. We saw a couple of places and we liked them the best and they had a room available. Rachelle at Clare Bridge went above and beyond and helped us out very much.

We've bene real pleased with them, it seems to be real clean, they do a good job keeping it clean. They're really friendly and they know everyone by their first name, they're really attentive to their people which I was really impressed with. The other places I went to they didn't acknowledge them by their first name. I had a little bit of a sticker shock when I went out and started looking but I realized the reason I had such a sticker shock was because I was comparing them to independent livings but really you can't compare the two, they're like apples and oranges. The care seems to be real good, it seems to be fine, one thing I was a little bit disappointed in and it's not just Emeritus, but I was expecting to have one person that I intereacted with and I feel like it would be advantageous in the care giving profession if they used a software system like constant contact where you can be in communication with everybody so the people wanting to find out about their loved ones could go on and see what was happening.

The facility was beautiful & the staff was very friendly. The staff interacted well with the residents. The event calendar was full of activities. The rooms were spacious & had a small effiency with microwave & refrig. housekeeping,laundry, & cable all included.The food smelled good & looked good. They have two menus in case a resident does not care for anything on one menu. Met the chef himself as well who was also pleasant. Mom & I both are very pleased with Emeritus. This is a 5.

My brother and I were very impressed with this facility. Although we did not tour the Memory Care area. Will need to further pursue, but at this time, Mom has no desire no matter how nice I tell her it is to make a move at this time. My brother and I have made changes to her financial arrangements in hopes of keeping her in her home for a bit longer. Fees are a concern.

I know they do have more employees per resident there because it's a memory care facility. There are way more people on the staff than the place my father is and on the weekends it's really no different than on a weekday. My mom's been there for a little over two years now. I have found that the staff are very patient, kind, and caring. They check on mom a lot. It seems like they have more staff development. They seem a lot more aware of the needs of the resident. I'm very happy with mom there. The place never smells. Her laundry is always done, it's never allowed to pile up in the closet. I think they run a very efficient place.

The price is up there but they're doing more for my sister than she would have gotten any place else. The main reason we chose them is because my sister is a very delicate diabetic. She takes shots 4x a day and this was the only place that I found that would actually giver her her shots and she didn't have to do them herself. There is a nurse there all the time so they can give her her shots. They call me on everything. If she fell down and stubbed her toe they would call me. They're really spot on and really watch. The meal times are set. It's 8am, 12pm, adn 5pm and if you miss it, you miss it.

This is my first experience, but I'm completely satisfied, Im' still getting adjusted to sticker shock, but I'm finding that it's kind of the norm in this business but as far as taking are of dad, they're doing an excellent job. He's adjusting to it real well, he's very social and open, the problems he's having are because of his dementia. They handle everything just fine when he asks them when he's getting out of there. I get lost sometimes and I have too much expectation on my dad in this stage in life, I got a little confused to start, there was some turn over and I went to the head nurse about who I can talk to when I have questions because I don't want to bother the manager and she said I can talk to her; so I track her down in her office and if she has time we sit down right then and there and talk, she makes herself available. it's a confusing situation and I think I'm going through as much adjustment as dad is, I'm getting used to the security but it's the kind of security I want, they're taking good care of him.

The transition to move here was just so smooth compared to what I experienced elsewhere. When we brought her in I told them exactly the situation and they were absolutely wonderful to her, there was no difficulty at all. But she refused to see the doctor here, he was not very professional. He would just barge in on her at anytime without a nurse, very unprofessional. The nurse there said she was trying to find another doctor that would come in house but was having a hard time. She just loved the caregivers, they were just wonderful to her and would tell her what medications she needed and when she was getting low and then order them for her.

He's currently under an 18 month discount so he has 1000 off a month so it's a wonderful value. He's in independent living, the people are so accomodating. At first I thought they were just saccharin sweet and I was waiting for the other shoe to fall but the more I see them the more I like them, I think they provide a hell of a service. They provide quite a few activities and they encourage him to participate even though he was reluctant at first. They were persistent with him and getting him to particiapte, they didn't take no for an answer. There's a Friday night mens group, they kept encouraging him to go and now it's something he looks forward to. It was the first place we looked at and we just liked what we saw, there is a complete lack of odor, it just smells clean in the whole building.

It was wonderful, we loved it, they loved it. Both of my parents were there, they were taking care of dressing changes everyday and plus they had a third party giving insulin injections. Julie, she was fantastic, she did everything I asked her to do, I think if I asked her to do a jig in the middle of the freeway she would have done it. She helped us along because we had never done this before. They actually had an aid that came in and helped my mother bathe everyday. Its fantastic, I was glad to give them money every month and I knew she was getting care and they were watching over her.

Really liked Sterling House. Excellent security. It felt more like home to me. Smaller space to navigate if in a wheelchair or walker. Nice common space, dining room, library, sun room, enclosed patio, activity room. Beauty shop and spa room available, too. Apts. were small, but how much room is truly needed? Different levels of assistance to choose from were a plus for our family. Opportunity for outings was greater here than at Sedgwick Plaza. It's location is perfect for our family, too. Food was good. But, something aobut it just didn't work for Mom. Going to talk it up to her.

I think it's lovely. It didn't work for us but they're a wonderful community. They're really hands on and the food is fabulous. We placed my father there hoping he would have VA assistance and that still hasn't come through so I had to remove him from there, very regretfully. They're clean, conscientious, secure, and interactive.

It is a very expensive community and if you would like to live here you need to have strong financial backing. They categorize residents by care levels of which each level is about $400. The bad thing about these levels is that they are not clear defined in black and white; they will access your loved one and then place them in a level. Their contract is also very one sided, they will work with you but they are written to benefit them. Overall the community is excellent and I would highly recommend the community to anyone that has the financial backing to afford it.
