They have different movie nights and bingo and some other activities like exercise programs. There are lots of options. My father is doing real well there. They're very helpful and very accommodating for any of his needs. The food is really good. I haven't heard anything negative from him. It's more of independent, apartment style living with additional assistance available.

My parents are very happy at Hawthorne and I am too. They are very attentive. They truly go out of their way to make sure all their needs are met. It's the little things like mom and dad were at a doctor's appointment. The driver from the community dropped them off and was waiting in the office for them when they were done. They really go the extra mile. Maybe just the food could be improved but other than that my parents have been blessed. I don't have to worry.

They treated our loved one very well. The staff was friendly and the community is a nice size, which allowed the staff to get to know all of the residents very well and actually interact with them. We were very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

We are 100% pleased. It's excellent and it's met all of my father's needs. We are very happy with it.

She was interested in Wynwood and then she decided after a lot of consieration that what she currently has with her apartment was everything she needed and decided to stay where she is. We looked at everything and she got down to where she was planning on moving but decided against it. I really like Wynwood, it was probably my top choice and it was really close to our house which was really nice and it was more reasonable I thought that the other ones. A friend recommended them to us, her mother is there, and our loved one is needing additional care, but she weighed all of the pros and cons and with Wynwood you have to pay additional for medication administration and additional care. Where she is now, her expenses are really low so for right now thats working for her.

Great community; excellent tour with Colleen. Trying to stick closer to Hudson area, though, so this is in our portfolio as a backup.

They're undergoing a new face lift out in front. Before it looked dated a little bit. I don't know what their final plan is going to be but they are updating it. I think my dad is doing as well as can be expected. He doesn't get involved - he's not a real social animal. He'll be 93 and he's pretty set in his ways. He doesn't really give them a hard time but he does complain. Like the food...it's not mom's cooking, you know? But I've eaten there on several occasions and I think it's good stuff and so does the rest of the family. Grand Court was able to provide the care we needed and the value was better than most we visited.

I noticed that my mother's room wasn't quite as clean as I would have kept it but maybe she was telling the not to come in. It was just little things. The external part of the facility is always beautifully kept! They're all very compassionate and don't argue with her. If she says the sky is purple the say how pretty it is which is good because she gets more confused and frustrated if you try to correct her. They have a doctor that visits the site and an in house pharmacy. I don't live in the same community so it's been really nice to have those things taken care of. They have an on-site beautician as well. It's been great all in all.

Very impressed. Beautiful facility. Wonderful amenities. Thought given to construction and layout to best-suit residents in wheelchairs and scooters.

It's very clean and very friendly. I think the value is great. Of course, there are only 40 rooms there so it's small and more personal. My mom and dad are on level one care so all they get is the meals and medicine - it's all been great so far. They had a guy sing and play guitar and my mom like that. They said he's going to be back in the middle of the month. My mom is looking forward to that. It's perfect right now.

We're really happy! The have ice cream socials, gospel things, trips to different restaurants, popcorn and movies. They do a number of different things. The food has been very good. I've had lunch with my mother a couple of times and it's all been good. She likes it there. We're very happy overall.

The Hallmark does a great job with activities and the transportation of the residents. The staff is helpful, friendly and very accommodating. This is a good place for people who have companionship and transportation needs. The main reason our loved one moved here was so that she could have social interaction.

They were very helpful in what we wanted but they only had a one bedroom. We needed a two bedroom.

When I visited they had a lot of activities going on. The community is very impressive. The staff is very friendly and they take interest in the residents. They try to keep them engaged and involved in different activities. They have an open line of communication and are always informing us of any changes. They are very accommodating for us. We are very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

From what I've seen and from talking to my mom - they're excellent! They always look at you and welcome you. They have a lot of activities which is good. My mom felt really good about the facility that they do the bed checks at night. That was something that made her feel really secure. She likes the food. We've had other family member that have eaten with her and the food had been good. I had a really good feel for the place even before I came because of the gal that I talked to over the phone. The thing that really blew me away was her knowledge of eldercare and her compassion. Meeting her in person confirmed was I was feeling. The community relations director is so good! She very patient, understanding, and good with the residents.

We visited several communities in the area and Sterling House of Mesa was the best one and the one we wanted our loved one in. All of the residents here are treated the same whether they have Alzheimer’s or not. Every new resident gets 3 sponsors to help them adjust to the community. They take them to get meals and take them to activities and really just try to get them integrated. It was also less costly then comparable communities. We would recommend this community to anyone even my closest friends.

My mom was never in any kind of facility before but when you compare the services I suppose it's on par with everything else. You never want to spend a lot of money. I think it really depends on the person. Before we put her in Emeritus my mom was just sitting around the house, not motivated to do anything. She's still not that motivated but she has meals and plays a lot of cards. They had a casino night which was really nice. They have a lot of things available for her to do and we try to encourage her to get out and do things. We were really impressed with the quality of the food.

Emeritus is a very nice community but it just cost to much for our budget. If you can afford them then it seems like a very good community to put a loved one. When we toured the community it was just wonderful and very nice. The staff was friendly and it was a very clean community.

It's very clean and the staff seems great. Compared to what we looked at in other areas, I think the price is pretty consistent and pretty competitive for what you get. I'd love for care to be less expensive but I think the value is fine. The care has been good. He doesn't require a lot - the biggest thing was medication management and they're really good about that. I don't have to worry about his medications being there because they order them for you. They're very active over there. I feel like everytime I go over there, there is some thing going on. They just did some renovations. The hallways are open the the place is light - my dad loves it there.

We chose The Hampton because of its proximity to our home. The staff was very understanding about our situation and really was very friendly and helpful. We are very pleased with the services they provided us and we would recommend them to anyone.
