We had previously visited Brookdale several years before but our loved one was not ready to move in yet. When we felt it was time for her to move to a community we knew where we wanted to go. Brookdale had no surprises and they did a very good job with our loved one.

I had my husband there for about a month, until he passed away. When it came to the point that I had to place him somewhere because of his Alzheimer's and cancer I just walked into Emeriuts, cold on a Sunday afternoon and found them to be very helpful. I felt like he got good care there even though he essentially only had a few months to live. They still got him up two or three times a day for meals even though they had to feed him. They were very caring. It takes a very special person to work with an Alzheimer's patient.

I've never seen the place but the service I have recieved is a 5. My sister who lives in Colorado Springs has been there and she thinks it's good and well kept. They're very friendly. It's expensive, but I guess the value is good - it's hard to say. My mother is there. I know they have activities available but they haven't been able to engage my mother into too much. They've been very helpful. It was a quick turn around. Within about 3 days they were able to move my mom from the rehab center to Brookdale on very short notice.

We toured this community and really liked it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They offer a lot of amenities and plenty of activities for the residents. Overall they are a very good community that we would have selected but there was another Sterling House much closer to our home which equally as impressive.

We really liked Sterling House of Watuaga, the proximity of it was very close to our home. The staff was great they were very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of activities to keep the residents busy. They also offer a lot of amenities. Our loved one likes it so much that when we came to pick them up, they chose to just stay there. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Emeritus at Creekview is the best. The girls who work there are bubbly, energetic and they care. They took an interest in us, and the manager, Denny, he was very friendly and helpful. Anything you asked him to do, he made sure that he got it done. What I've seen in older patients there is that the staff are very friendly to them, no matter how difficult they might be. The residents and staff in charge of the activities program are making an effort to involve my mother-in-law in things and they greeted her with open arms when she moved in.

Very nice and homey. It is much more like the facility where mom and dad are now. They do have pets and can arrange to have the staff care for the pet. The apartments are great. They have great closets and bathrooms. The bedroom and sitting areas are partially separated with an open feel to them. The kitchenetts are good and there is the possibility that they would remodel the apartment to your liking. If you want to do something to the apartment, you buy what is necessary, but their maintenance crew will do the work. They also take requests for meals and will even use your receipies. They will also wave the one time community fee and pet fee. They take residence out to eat 2 times a week if they want to go. The residence are allowed to keep their doors open to their apartment if they want. Since mom is so closterfobic that is very important to us. The courtyard is large and grassy. Some of the residence maintain a small garden there too. I would love for my parents to live there. Now if I can just talk them and the rest of the family into it, it would be wonderful.

The reason I chose that one is that I felt that it met my mother's needs. I had a guided tour through the facility and the staff were very friendly. There were more activities as well, the community was clean and well cared for, and my mother has her own room. There's a registered nurse on site to attend to the residents if they need help.

We've been so happy. My mother is doing so well there. The staff is friendly and very caring. She likes the food and that is surprising because when she was living on her own a lot of the time she didn't eat because things didn't appeal to her. The variety and number of activites are great They never make her feel pressured to do anything. She'll go down every morning and do chair exercises. One morning might me stretching the next might be something else. They have tv and bus trips to different places. On Sundays they'll have a walk around the building and ice cream. Once a month they have something for family to come to. Next month is a luau dinner. They've been very helpful to me and very responsive. Of the places we visited this felt the most like home.

This facility has memory care only. They currently have semi-private rooms available. Basic cost is $3096. Additional cost might be anywhere from $900 to $1400, but wouldn't really know until after an assessment is done. (Private room not available but basic cost is $4637). They have a VA counselor contact that has been excellent at helping obtain benefits in a timely manner. (Also learned that VA benefits are retroactive to when you become eligible, not when paperwork and/or benefits are approved by them.) They will make sure you get this info when you do a tour. The person I talked to was Krista. She was very knowledgeable and I was also impressed by how warm and caring she sounded. If she's an example of the staffing, this might be a really good one to check out. Cost also seemed to be the most reasonable for the level of care provided, but never know until you get a full assessment. [removed] I didn't think to find out about staffing ratios until someone else mentioned it. Since I discovered that appears to vary a great deal, we need to add this information to the notes for each one. The checklists should provide that kind of info.

This is a beautiful community! It is safe and secure and I am very much interested but I think it is out of my price range. If mom qualifies for VA assistance, Medicaid plus her SS and pension, I would choose this facility.

I would give their friendliness a 10! What I saw as far as the care services was good. The activites were amazing. The activites director had different people doing differnt things. Some ladies were dancing, some were singing, she had some people doing a puzzle. It was awesome. One of the reasons that I chose Clare Bridge is hat they have two years of no violations and no citations. It's a very good program. They've won an award 2 years in row.

One thing that I left out before that I think is really important is that there are a couple of nurses and some really good med tech staff. They have kept on top of all my mom's medical needs. Anything we've expressed to them as a concern, they've made sure to follow up on. My mom had an awful doctor and they are helping us move along the process of finding a new one. They call us and let us know before she runs out of something. To me, that means the world because it really shows that they're paying attention to what she needs and alerting us so that she's not at a loss. It makes it a lot easier for us to do our part. They're highly responsive. They know what to look for and that means that they know what they're doing. We really love this place!

I really love the place. Something special is always going on everyday. Very relaxad atmosphere. The staff is great. I love the dining facilities. It is like your going to a regular restrauant. They look like regular waiters and waitress taking your order of what you want to eat. the food is very well prepared and tasted great. My father really likes it there. Private rooms and you can decorate them however you like and pets are welcomed. I would love to live there myself. If you need help each resident wears a call button around their neck. Just like everywhere else they need more staff. I really feel sorry for the staff as they are really busy, but they manage. Its to bad the gov't dosen't fund these places more. It is a beautiful place inside and out. My dad says he likes it there and he is a very picky man.

Wish they had a little more exercising but I think they do what they can for the type of residents they have. It is a secure community and really gives me peace of mind that our loved one is safe and will not be wandering off. The atmosphere is very home like and our loved one is comfortable here. Our loved one has not asked us to take them out of the community to go home. They have semi private and private rooms. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They seems like they actually want to help. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We chose Emeritus because it was located very conveniently for my family. They had a lot to offer especially for the price. They offered exactly what we needed and were looking for. It is a very nice and pretty community. They take very good care of the residents and the staff is very friendly. We are very pleased with Emeritus and would recommend them to anyone.

My mom is really happy there. I've not had any problems whatsoever! The activites are great. She seems like she's tuckered out by the end of the day. They seem to be testing her, you know, not letting her sit around on a stump and sleep all day. It's been a wonderful, wonderful experience!

We are very happy with Sterling House our loved one is really happy here. We are very glad with picked this community. It is a smaller community so we felt it would provide more socialization. The staff and residents are really friendly. The residents seemed to be really happy. The community is really beautiful it have a nice courtyard to sit and relax. Everything has just been going fine. We would recommend them to anyone.

There are several reasons we chose Windsor Place for our loved one. First would be the location, then the size of the facility it's not big but it is comfortable. They have nice size rooms for the residents and the cost is reasonable. The appearance of the building itself is also very nice. We toured about three or four other facilities but chose Windsor Place for the reasons listed above. We would recommend Windsor Place to others who are looking.
