Brookdale

I am overwhelmed with care, in a positive way. I came here for care which I couldn't get in my home. The building is structured in a way that it gives the residents safety. The response time from the staff is very quick. There were occasions I had medical emergencies and the staff is skilled enough to know what do to. The food is extremely good and tasty with plenty of options to choose from. The service is very good! The maintenance and the housekeeping is excellent as well. If there is ever an issue in my apartment, they are fast to fix the problem. For a senior who needs care, I found this community to be an excellent choice.

I moved here from another highly-rated facility and can honestly say this place is nirvana! I love that i can see the mountains from my room as well as the street. There is a private little patio right outside my room, the kitchenette is great, the walk-in closet has tons of room for storage and i have a stunning amount of choices; what i eat, what i do, where i go, and I can be as entertained as i want, or while away hours in my room watching TV, writing on the computer, or napping. One day a week staff collects my laundry, changes my bed linens and cleans my room. If I could give this place 10 stars, i would. Everyone is so friendly, the grounds are like a luxury hotel the library is spectacular, there's outside dining in the Spring and Summer, beside a creek, and the dining room space, servers and food equal the finest of hotels. Best of all, EVERYONE speaks clear English! AND there is a spectacular live-Finch aviary you'll wish you had in your own home. I LOVE this place and everyone who works and/or lives here.

We were really impressed with this property - sparkling clean, no "old people" odors, friendly staff, and beautiful grassy courtyard. It accepts ALTC and does not currently have a waiting list. Only 30 minutes from our residence so very convenient as well. Best of all, we believe that Mom would approve of this facility as well!

Really nice place. Loved the cookies. Actually the 1 bedroom apartments are very spacious and the common dining room is very nice. Amenities for my parents are very helpful to have everything in one place. Hair, podiatry, Personal Care, OT, PT, ect. I think my father would actually do his PT. Looking forward to the next steps. Have a couple other places to check out.

Excellent facility, could feel the love from staff and residents

We looked every where before deciding on Brookdale. The people at Brookdale are fantastic. They helped us in every step of a difficult process. Our parents receive the best care from the most loving people imaginable - they have become family. The facility is wonderful, the food is excellent and there's so much to do - We made the best decision in choosing this wonderful place!

clean community, nice apts, good selection of services, friendly staff. I talked to a couple of residents and both were very happy with the community.

Our mom has lived there for years, came in independent and has had some decline over the years, but they work with her doctor and therapist to keep her active. We appreciate the proactive care approach. She’s still doing very well, no doubt because of their efforts. We’re also impressed with the management team. They care about these residents, listen and find solutions. We all know Mom is aging, but quality care and attention have made all the difference in her life. She has lots of options and say in her daily life. We highly recommend this community. Whether the need for assistance is now or in the future, they are the best option.

Wonderful community. Staff really cares about my dad. I never have to worry about him! He has been there for four years now.

I've lived here for several years and made wonderful friends! Food is great, our community is always super clean! You would love it here!

The people here were amazing. I enjoyed the residents that lived there as well as the people that worked there. Their menus have a large variety for every meal that you can pick and choose from. They also have a full private bathroom included with most of the rooms. Plus they have an alarm system in every room and bathroom should someone need help.

I volunteer at Brookdale East in Tucson, AZ. It is a beautiful, well maintained facility. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and so attentive with the residents. They work hard at offering and participating in numerous activities throughout the day. It is a pleasure to be a small part of the community.

My mother is in Memory Care at Brookdale Canopy Oaks. She receives excellent care. The staff is kind, compassionate and has great knowledge and understanding of dementia/Alzheimer disease. Brookdale is the THIRD assisted living facility we have moved my mom. By far, it is the best. No place is perfect. Bring a complaint to the staff and they try their best to correct it. Don't be fooled by the big fancy shmancy places.

The community is great! My father was looking for a community and chose this one. Since his time there the community has made even more updates and renovations! I like that the staff was good to work with me to get his apartment on the first floor, the flow of the dining room and lobby area are neat/clean. Well decorated.

My uncle lived there until he passed. Hands down could not have asked for a better place for uncle [name removed] to have been. All the staff were very nice and it was a warm welcoming place.

[Name removed] answered all of our questions and provided a wealth of information. The location is well kept. The people living there were happy and friendly. Thanks for an outstanding tour.

Very clean place. Everyone seemed friendly and happy. Lots of activities provided. Very safe and homey feeling. Pets are allowed. Only negative-not a lot of visitor parking near main entrance.

The staff here are very kind, caring, and attentive to residents needs. With plenty of activities to participate in throughout the week, facilities are clean and well maintained and the food/dining is a pleasurable experience.

Two of us toured this facility and we are almost certain this is where we will try and get mom into. I have contacted Shelly for a follow up visit. Questions were brought up by some siblings that I need to check in to.
