Brookdale

They were very good to my mom. It is a smaller size community, we really liked that. It is a very caring environment. They also took care of the family when they were there. The room sizes were really good. We were very please with our experience.

The staff are very caring people and it is a nice place for my mom. She appears to like it there and seems to be comfortable there now. She likes the food. Initially we visited quite few communities , but I chose this community because I liked the location and they provided us with the financial options and information about the spend down that we needed. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The staff are are like a ten! They spoiled my mom with attention. The moment we walked in, my mom said that this feels like home. My mom was 96 and the staff ,from the very beginning, fell in love with her. They communication with me on a regular basis excellent. Just unbelievable communication. It is hard to express how comfortable I felt that my mom was there rather any other place. It gave up very good peace of mind. They worked to included her in everything.

Such a bad time for the world, and we are very grateful for all they do for our family and mom. Everyone is tired and frustrated in general, and this group of great people are still making my mom (and the other residents) happy. We appreciate the calls, facetime and pictures. Keep up the outstanding job! The residents notice how much you are all doing, and the families are indebted! Continue to stay safe.

The staff was pretty good, they took good care of the residents. I would recommend Brookdale to others. It is clean, secure, and safe. It was the most cost-effective option in the area. The food was good but not as good as some of the other places she had been in the past. They did not have as many choices.

The management and staff are very competent in caring for my father. They are extremely responsive and quick to address any questions or concerns that I have had during the process of transitioning my dad into memory care. In particular, during the COVID-19 crisis, the Brookdale Tanque Verde team has gone above and beyond the call of duty by not only following the mandated guidelines, implementing the necessary precautions, but also by thinking out of the box and helping family members to feel more included while we are unable to visit our loved ones. Every time I talk to [names removed] I feel more and more at ease and confident that my dad is in the right facility and that he is being well cared for. I am beyond grateful to everyone, team members I have met and not yet met, for being front line essential workers with patience of saints and hearts of gold. <3<3<3

They have been great to set up weekly zoom visits and it ha been really nice. My mom says they take good care of her there. My mom doesn't really like the food,it is nutritious just not homemade. We chose this community over others for her because it seemed to be the best fit. They have worship services, activities, an outside garden, and the apartments seem to be just the right size.

They are amazing. They knew how to be proactive and immediately protected from COVID. They are paying attention to the medical and physical side of things without losing sight of the importance of the emotional , social, and engagement side of thing. The food varies, in healthy, and there are options. We have zoom meetings every two weeks for families, residents, and staff for community update and our input and ideas. The communication is excellent. When I need a place one day for myself, I plan to go there.

Brookdale Monroe has exceeded my expectations in the care of my mother. I didn't know what I didn't know about assisted living and long term care despite having visited multiple facilities in multiple price points before choosing Brookdale Monroe. Brookdale is not the highest price point which is amazing based on the care, amenities, meals, facility, grounds and activities. My mother, who has dementia, probably says it best when she gets confused where she is, thinking she is on vacation at a resort. Everyone who works there truly cares about every resident. I could not have made a better choice for my mom.

I think they do a really good job making new people feel welcome and getting them involved with activities. My mom met a lot of good friends. The food was good and a lot of choices. My mom is in Independent Living. They have so much to do, trips, pool activities, other things. Never boring. They have done a good job with the Pandemic. They are there when you need them. They have a coordinator that helps with everything you need. I don't have to worry, I know my mom is being well taken care of.

Every time I have been there the community has been clean; they do a great job. The staff reaches out to me a lot to discuss my mother's care. They really have gotten to know her and her needs and are always thoughtful with her. With the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been very on top of protecting the residents and testing them and have communicated with us regularly about what they are doing. Brookdale Avondale is definitely a good value for the price.

This Tour went exceptionally well. Assisted living is an option for us, but currently it follows In Home Care and Respite Care in priority.

When we first moved in here, they had an interim executive director, who was not great. Since then they got a permanent replacement and things have been much better. Since the new executive director took over, they were very accommodating and everyone that tended to us or my mother did so with extreme care and extreme professionalism. During the community lock down as the result of the Covid-19 pandemic, they set up phones and such to make sure we had adequate time to connect with our loved ones. We did think the community was a good value for the price as Brookdale was one of the more affordable communities.

It is an easy place to work with. It is a good atmosphere. I would highly recommend Brookdale Springmeadows. The food is good. The layout is fine and they have different floor plans for their units. Outdoor space is adequate.

I absolutely loved this community. It's small so mom wasn't overwhelmed and had no problem getting around. The staff is warm and friendly, they made us feel like part of the family. Mom's been there for 2 months now and she feels right at home!

Very nice community with a warm home like atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they loved their jobs and treated the residents like family. Mom needed more help than I could give her and this community was the closest thing to home I saw.

We have been very happy with the care of Mom at Brookdale, Ann Arbor. She loves it and she is loved by the staff. She has now been there just over a year. The community is fun and friendly. They know everyone by name and mom will often tell us a funny story that happened. This time during Covid has been hard but the staff has been creative with communication. They have sent photos, videos and emails to keep the families informed during this time we have not been able visit.

It is a very good place. They have lots of support. I reccomend it. The food is okay.The room sizes are great. It is spread out so you get your exercise. They have an outdoor pool and sitting area. It is a very safe place to walk around. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The staff is all very nice. Typically the activities and food are pretty good, however since the Covid-19 pandemic, things have slowed down a little. Brookdale is too expensive for the care received.

They have a lot of activities going on. They have been great. They are very diligent. They make sure everything is clean. They are very polite. It took awhile to convince my parents to move, then we needed to speed things up. Brookdale was great at helping us get my mom's assessment set up. Brookdale helped us to move my mom quickly from out of state on the timeline we needed after my dad passed away unexpectedly. They were wonderful to work with.
