Brookdale

The hallmark of Brookdale Tamarac is the sense of community, a familial feeling, that is fostered by the Brookdale Tamarac staff. They are always helpful and caring but specifically during this COVID-19 crisis they have responded above and beyond to our health and safety needs. I believe that our director has set the high standards with her example of compassion responding to our needs and fears and stepping in wherever needed. Everyone on this staff is respectful, caring, and working hard to keep us safe despite the stress we all feel.

The staff is wonderful. They create a pleasant environment for us to live. They are responsive to all needs and provide activities for our enjoyment and participation. The food is exceptional, the help and staff are caring and efficient. The building well maintained. The facility is comfortable with a modern appearance. Overall, a grand place to live.

Brookdale Tamarac Sq. has a well run, warm, caring staff who understand and know the needs of seniors and care about their staff and residents. After living here 10 yrs I am glad I am here and hope to be another 10 yrs at least.

The facility is always clean and the staff is really helpful. I appreciate the staff treats everyone the same. The facility feels like home. My mom loves food and activities. She had made a lot of new friends. She is much happier now.

I moved my father into Brookdale and it was such a pleasant experience. The caregivers were really friendly and made sure my dad felt comfortable. My mind is now at ease knowing my dad has good care.

I toured this community on Sat and they were doing trivia which my mom would enjoy. Good food, coffee, and snacks in the lobby. The staff was really friendly and it was clean.

Brookdale Cushing's staff, director, and assistant director have all contributed to making this residential community one of the safest and most pleasant retirement communities in the area. The weekly question and answer sessions with the directors give all residents and their families an opportunity to inquire about various temporary restrictions imposed recently to enhance the safety of all. The green space surrounding the buildings and cottages offer easy access to the outdoors, where, although isolated, we are aware of the many local people who are enjoying the park. The delivery of generous meals at dinner time easily covers most of my daily needs. I'm glad to have moved to Brookdale before the onset of the epidemic.

It was a very good assisted living facility. They staff were very willing to help and cater to my dad's desires for activities and socialization. The food was good and they offered variety. They attempted to have organic, natural and healthy but tasty foods. We chose this community because of its proximity to our house. Also because the staff and administration were very friendly and accommodating to my dad's needs.

My mom lived at Brookdale Longmont for nearly 9 years prior to her passing in 2020, and I can’t say enough good things about the care she received. The staff is consistently helpful and professional, and the facility itself is attractive and well-maintained. The community is small enough that it feels residential rather than institutional, but still large enough to be able to offer a full range of services, activities, and outings for the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale Longmont to other families seeking a supportive and caring home for their loved ones. It turned out to be the perfect choice for my mom.

My mom visited several senior living communities in the area back in 2011, and ultimately chose Brookdale Longmont. I honestly think she made the best choice. This is a smaller community situated in a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. It has a single-story floorplan, so there are no elevators or stairs to navigate, and everything is within easy reach. All of the common areas are attractive and well-maintained. Outdoor areas include a well-used front patio and a pleasant outdoor courtyard in the center of the building. The staff members are skilled, caring, and dedicated, and because the community is small, all of the staff get to know all of the residents. Despite the small size, there are many activities, field trips, and special events for residents to enjoy. Sadly, my mom recently passed away after living at Brookdale for nearly 9 years, but I cannot say enough about the quality care she received there. I would not hesitate to recommend this community to anyone seeking a supportive and compassionate home for their loved ones.

It is a good fit for anyone. They are an age in place community with Independent Living, Assisted living and Memory Care. Room sizes in memory care are small. In Assisted living my dad had a large one bedroom apartment. They have nice outdoor space with a pool and for memory care they have an atrium and grilling area.

[Name removed] and [name removed] went above and beyond to facilitate my mother's move in during the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic. The move went smoothly and after 14 days of required isolation, my mom is enjoying the company of the other residents. Great job!

My mother is happy with the services at Brookdale. She feels like a princess! The staff is great. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff has been great with keeping the residents safe and they are clearly personally invested in the well being of my loved one. All levels of staff, from the director to the food service staff are all very invested. They do not have much turnover either. They take great care of everyone. They have been great about engaging the residents during lock down and keeping them involved as best they can. They have also been great with communicating with me about my mother's care. We can call at any time and they will be happy to accommodate. We feel like they are extended family!

They have a great staff. It is a great place. I felt very comfortable having my mom there. Mom was skeptical going in. They did a great job to help her adjust to the community. My mom loved the food, the people she met and the care staff. It was a great experience.

Brookdale is terrific! They have wonderful policies and procedures in place, even before the Covid-19 pandemic, the community was spotless. My parents love the staff. Everyone I run into as well is terrific; from the director to the staff working the dinning room. There is a range of times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which not all communities offer. They always have a pleasant attitude. The care is excellent. In terms of the other services, like the food, they do a great job accommodating for my parents' needs. They have an activities director that provides a wide variety of activities available to them if they want. They also have smaller services available just in case, which is great. They have even done personal shopping for my parents to make sure they stayed safe during the pandemic. I like that they have smaller services available for those who only need a small amount of help, but don't yet need assisted living. We also really like that they have shuttle services available for the residents and they will take them off-community for activities. The rooms themselves are very big compared to other communities in the area equipped with full-sized kitchens. Brookdale Cushing Park is also in a great location, they are right by the park and that makes it easy for my parents to get out and enjoy nature. They are a hidden gem!

The community is very well kept up. The staff is great and they really get to know you. Their handling of the Covid-19 pandemic has been excellent. The executive director has had weekly Zoom calls with families, letting them know what exactly they are doing to protect the residents. They have been very transparent with all aspects of the situation. The care services are great. My dad has been very happy with his care especially compared to the last community he lived in. They have a variety of activities available to the residents. We have been very happy with the staff at Brookdale.
