Brookdale was a great facility. [name removed] was extremely knowledgeable and listened during this difficult time. She shared a local support group. Sadly they do not have a memory care facility. She provided insight in how to address topics with my siblings in the pros and cons of finding a facility that is best for mom.

We chose Brookdale because we loved the staff immediately, the location was convenient, and also because of the amenities that they offered. They also had a much better care program and are more hands on since they are a smaller community. He has a studio apartment, and it is a good size. I like how personable everyone is here, they truly care about their residents as well as the families. They know all residents by name, they know their medications by heart, and everyone just seems very aware of the needs. I would recommend to others looking.

I would tell others that the duck ponds are flithy. Come here before you get old and broke down so you can enjoy it more. The meats are tough and need sauces is the reason for the low rating on the food. The food is not prepared in the community, and it has too much sugar and flour.

Our families experience has been great, the community felt like home right when you walked in. The people always said hello and smiled at you. Our loved one ate a lot there so we have to assume the meals and dining service was very good. Our loved one was limited on what she could do activity wise, but she absolutely loved bingo and sometimes we were able to play with her. She also like participating in some of the exercise classes.
