The company is very unreliable. There was a caregiver that walked out of the job while my loved one was sleeping. We had some caregivers that never showed or was late getting to care for my loved one. All of this happened in one week.

It was not a very good experience. They sent somebody different every Sunday. One day nobody showed up at all. They sent out the schedule from a person who didn't have their business name on his emails, so it kept going to my junk mail. It was just not a pleasant experience. There was one caregiver that we did like, but the owner was very threatening to me about not hiring her outside of their company, which I never even asked to do in the first place. They also basically told me that they specialize in staffing for care facilities, so I'm not sure why they were working with us for home care in the first place. It just was not a good fit.

We did not have a good experience with Preferred Care At Home. They did not do much with my mother, they would sit and watch tv with her. It was not what we expected it to be. It was so expensive and we did not get anything out of it. We would not recommend to others.

Thus far, our experience with Senior Helpers in Nashville TN has been very disappointing. Although the Branch Manager apologizes and expresses she understands the frustrations of the issues brought to her attention, it has not improved the quality of staff communication or client care related to my father's care. When we started with this company in February 2021, our family was assured by Senior Helpers that caregivers were available to accommodate the hours needed for my father's care. In April 2021 we saw our beloved caregiver place our floor mop inside of our kitchen sink filled with dishwater and dishes to mop the kitchen floor. On the same day, this caregiver reached in a pot of food with her hand and ate directly from the pot twice. Another caregiver did not want to do light cleaning or errands. Our family members stepped in M-F to ensure he would not be neglected; due to Senior Helpers failing to do so.

I have asked to start back my services since I got vaccinated but asked for only vaccinated aides because I kept getting quarantined from possible and actual exposure to Covid. It has been months. I called after a few weeks and was told they had a staff turnover and would work on staffing me. I asked about them sending someone vaccinated even if I had to cut my care time to 1 time a week. I was told they have no clue who is vaccinated and that they would see what they could do. I have not been contacted by them since and it has again been weeks. I do NOT recommend them!!!!

We moved my Mom's care (where she requires 24/7 live-in help) to Personal Touch earlier this year and have been very happy with the service thus far. In regards to Sara - on two separate occasions - one of my Mom's live-in aides "abandoned" my 90 year old Mom who has limited mobility and many health related issues - requiring my wife and I to take time off from work to care for her for days until a replacement could be found. What we have found is that Sara does not treat their aides well - do not provide PPE in spite of COVID-19 (family has to pay for masks/gloves), do not pay them well and there is a total lack of communication between aides and coordinator/office staff. As a result - with few exceptions - Sara does not get quality aides and aides openly complain about Sara and their management. In my professional experience - employees that are not treated well by their employer will generally not provide good customer service.

I would suggest you stay far far away. It was a nightmare from day one for us. One of the aides stole money from my loved one while on premise. The staff made promises and they didn't uphold these promises. They were also unreliable. They were also neglectful and deceitful.

This guy was very business like and unsympathetic. He tried to up sell full time care, which i can not afford. I want nothing to do with this agency.

Some of the staff members we encountered were friendly and others were not. We were led to believe they would try to match someone to our loved one, so we thought they would do personality questions, but we only used them for a few weeks and we encountered 5-6 different workers. Our loved one never really felt comfortable, could not get settled and they would communicate with us last minute if someone was not able to show up.

Sometimes they wouldn't show up, or they would show up late. When they did show up, they didn't want to do anything. We wouldn't use this service again. I know it's hard. A lot of these caregivers don't have a lot of qualifications. But you have to be willing to work a little bit.

Incredicare supplied CNAs to my mom at home during hospice for 5 days. The employees seemed to have no skills and no experience and made my mom’s last days even more difficult for our family as we had to be calling Incredicare constantly about problems.

They could improve on just about everything, we got rid of them and it was just a bad experience we were not happy. They were not willing to work with us, time availability was horrible. They also tried to fraud the VA and charge them for extra long hours.

Charges for evaluations for what most agencies provide for free. I have free visits offered to be reinbursed by a non profit but I was treated so poorly by Senior Helpers that I have not scheduled any visits. They want exact dates in advance for all visits rather than when I need them. They said I was not profitable so I was treated with disrespect by owner.

Spent two weeks arranging for care for my mom who was coming back from the hospital. The plan was to give her 24 hr care when she first came home. At the last minute they changed the caregiver who would come. She was supposed to be there before my mom arrives. She came 4.5 hrs after she was supposed to come. My parents had to arrangement for friends to come so they dismissed her. Her replacement shift was supposed to arrive at 8am in order receive instructions from the hospital nurse. She never came either. Do not rely on these people to give care to your loved one. Deeply disappointed and offended with their service.

The company sent out someone but we had to let them go and they never sent out another home care professional all though they said they were sending someone out. I would not recommend this service.

Do not use this company! They take a great deal of money up front and then do not repay what is unused. We were told that whatever monies were not used would be returned to us. Very unethical considering these are elderly people who require their service. I have been trying to get my 88 year old grandmother's money back for two months, and we have been consistently lied to and led on. Most of the time, phone calls go unanswered. Be careful and use a different service! They will not help you and are extremely unprofessional.

I would want others to know that we did not have a good experience with Talem Home Care. We only had them for a short time and fired them because most of the time their help was either late or they did not show up at all. When we called the office they said they were working on it, we called at 9AM and by 1PM there was still no help. One time this happened to us 4 days in a row. We would not recommend them.
