Father was under hospice care - they could take care of him as he did not require meds. Just someone to sit with him and let us have a break. Father fell, requiring morphine which Home Instead CAN NOT administer. We let them know we could not use them and they became rude saying they could provide services, but not administer any drugs. So we said we couldn’t use them and they nailed us with a cancellation fee. Something beyond our control. DO NOT USE THEM

Poor communications, they never return my calls, they send caregivers who are lazy, constantly on their cell phones and are nosy. I only like one caregiver her name is [name removed]. I've need to talk to someone in accounting but they have never returned my messages.

We used home care services through C&C Caring Hands for our loved one and the experience was terrible. Additionally, aside from issues we had with the caregiver, we had prepaid for care and it took over a month to get a reimbursement and it wasn't even a full reimbursement like we were promised when we signed up with them. They would not return our calls, texts or emails. I just received the check. I hope it actually clears! In my opinion, this business is very unethical.

The owner [name removed] sent caregiver [name removed] to my home to look over my mom while I was out of town [name removed] brought her daughter who is not employed by Live Good [name removed] company Into my home I did not approve of it I didn't know about her daughter being in my home until after the fact why because she need help with my mom she notified [name removed] and not me and [name removed] left my house and my mom unattended on the sofa to go pick her daughter up too help her my mom has a bruise on her knee and skin abrasion on her arm and [name removed] daughter flushed wipesdown my toliet and over flowed my toliet which is backing up in my tub they refuse to fix damages owner [name removed] said she is not responsible I have texts from [name removed] stating her daughter damaged my bathroom in a text [name removed] lied and so did [name removed] o have recoreded conversations they have yet to respond I paid for poor service I have cameras in my house she did nothing with my mom hardly feed her

Signed up weeks ago and have yet to receive services. I’ve had to call them everytime, they have yet to call me except for a scheduler after I contacted them. She told me that I would have service Friday. No one showed up and once again, I had to call them. I complained . It’s Monday, after 11 and still no response. I want my deposit back. I have never had dealings with a company so badly run. A Place for Mom should not recommend them. Only gave it a star because you must rate in order to submit.

Don't use this company. Who can afford $[removed] an hour.I didn't go to their home but they sent out an individual caregiver. At first she was very kind and great.

As a medical social worker in the Bay Area, when my dad needed a caregiver I recommended Home Instead as they have a good reputation at the branch close to where I work. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Home Instead’s Beaverton branch (my dad resides in Portland, but we were connected to the Beaverton branch). Our family’s experience with them over 3 days was unimpressive, unprofessional, and, honestly, a joke. We had 3 different caregivers over 3 days and it was clear they were struggling with staffing reporting to us they had many future unfilled shifts. While my dad’s caregiver on the first day was kind and professional, the other 2 were not and we were less than comfortable or assured in their abilities. We paid them to do nothing. Examples of issues include talking non stop, telling us this was their first client and prior experience was driving for Amazon, sharing with us their personal issues on the first day, and have extremely minimal training on how to provide care.

Definitely do NOT recommend. [name removed], the coordinator doesn't listen attentively. She'll absolutely you into setting up services and then send unqualified, untrained employees with no experience for your needs. When trying to correct the situation, [name removed], the contact doesn't follow through and leaves the patient and the family with no home health services. Don't risk your lives ones safety, wellness, or comfortability while you are out. Nothing in the exaggerated website details was true in our experience. I do not recommend Wheelhouse Homecare Care for any reason. Advocate for your lives ones no matter what. These agencies are a dime a dozen and need to be held to a higher standard. And definitely install Nanny cameras before you ever leave your lives one with anyone.

There was a revolving door of caregivers, most just sat around, some napped most did very little. One caregiver brought her 11 month old with her as well as left my dad alone to take lunch. There were several times no one showed up or were hours late. The company would sometimes call to let us no one would be there or would be late. I understand that finding quality employees is difficult. I wish the company had been more upfront about that. They kept telling us they had the perfect caregiver for my dad but they had to finish another job first, however they kept sending different caregivers almost daily. We were private pay clients and for what we paid we certainly did not receive the service promised. I would not recommend Homewell to other families unless you just maybe need someone to sit on the couch all day.

I had a very bad experience with Senior helpers. 3 times they did not send the promised caregivers - yet charged me anyway. Would not recommend them at all. We had one person come for 4 hours for two days. She pretty much sat. Then someone was supposed to be here Monday and Wednesday at 10am and they called Sunday night and said they had no one. I said ok then we are done. They said I had to call the rep - who I left a message with on Monday. She didn't call back til the following Monday - said she was out of town. She said I had to give 2 weeks notice - or they were going to charge me anyway. I said fine - send someone Friday and Saturday. Thursday night again they called and said they had no one. Again - I said - it has been 2 weeks - we are done. I had to scramble and find help. They called Friday and said they had someone for Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. I said no - I had contracted with [removed] - who was wonderful!!! - we are DONE. A month later I saw a charge on my bill. They kept telling me they had to talk to someone else. They didn't listen or communicate. My husband was very ill, has since died so I didn't have the energy to fight them. But they should be ashamed of themselves for treating vulnerable people like that. Our Place for Mom experience was extremely helpful, considerate and patient with helping me find the care we needed for a constantly changing situation. Highly recommend

They are a rip off will never recommend. They need to improve on, communication and contracts.

Our family had a very poor experience with Preferred Care at Home of Greater Huntsville. Ways that they could improve would be to make sure they can fulfill what they promise as well as hire people that show up when scheduled.

I attempted to use 1776 Senior Care for Home Care service for my loved one. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with them. They never actually sent us a caregiver. The day before service was to begin, I called to confirm and they texted me back to say that they'd had someone scheduled but they were no longer available and it would be hard for them to come up with a caregiver on short notice. Then I never heard from them again. We had high hopes from our meeting with them, and care was set up two weeks ahead of the start date. It was so unexpected that they didn't follow through. I would not recommend 1776 Senior Care to others.

It was absolutely terrible and I would NEVER recommend Senior Helpers to anyone. They sent people to my mothers house that were inept for any sort of help and only wanted to talk about their families drug problems. It caused much more undo stress to my mother when they were supposed to help

1776 was good until it wasn’t (which was 2 weeks.). Yesterday, the caregiver was more than a half-hour late leaving my 82-YO father to care alone for my mother in hospice. And the manager [name removed] was pretty unhelpful. Today, the service texted *one* minute before the start of the shift with “apologies” that the same late caregiver now had a flat tire and said they would work on a replacement. Do not trust your loved one to this wholly unreliable service.

We utilized care services through Mount Eagle Health Care Forsyth for my loved one. They were not dependable at all. We dealt with no shows over and over again. I would not recommend them to anyone. Dangerous when you need someone there and they just don't show up.

They are unreliable. Send your parent to a nursing home before hiring them. I didn't know unreliable they are.

It was recommended by United Health.They billed my loved one after telling her that Medicaid would pay for her services .CBA refused to clean my loved ones apartment or shampoo her hair.

very poor experience. caregiver did not come as promised. Caregiver was supposed to come Thursday. Person at Senior Care Givers was unable to reach caregiver. I have had the same caregiver for 6 or 7 years and do not ask for too much. I have been charged for overtime, that my family or I do not remember being told we would be responsible for. Caregivers. Was told that they could drive.

No consistent staff. Lots of theft in homes. Aides sleep during shifts. If you get a few caretakers who are dependable and good at their job you will be ok, however, most of the good aides leave as the company doesn't respect them. Once they are gone, they fill the slots with warm bodies and things fall through the cracks. You can't request specific people who are good with your family member. When dealing with elderly clients who have health issues and rely on quality care, you are playing with people's lives. The management is awful, no matter what other reviews say. Sometimes making money shouldn't be the reason to start a company. We owe our elderly population respect and compassion, something the owner of this company promised our family, yet failed at every turn to provide. The company is dangerous. Look elsewhere.
