I received a call from Armada right after I received the email with the referral. At the time, my dad and sister were still in the hospital but were being transferred to rehab facility the next week. I explained the situation to the woman who called and after a conversation about the needs they would most likely need, she told me she would call me the next week and set up a time to meet with them and me the next week. I never received that call. I let the “A Place for Mom” rep know when she called a few weeks later. Shortly after I received a second call from Armada but had already hired another company referred by the rehab center.

At first they were nice but they could not keep a schedule. The home care team was very young and accountability is an issue. I asked to remove two care givers. GYs cannot provide accountable home care

Messes up the dates and times for clients expecting aids to come in. Management is unprofessional and makes communication difficult. Low paid employees non licensed aides coming into homes doing care with loved ones

Areas they could improve on - better communication. Better trained care givers with skills on how to take care of elderly people. Paying [fee removed]/[fee removed]hr you have expectations of a certain level of care and that was rarely ever received.

I will not use Comfort Keepers again. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor yet I paid them. I had a death in my family and found myself in an emergent situation. Only to be talked to poorly. I was told the staff could not give my sister insulin shots and they weren't suppose to get her meals and that they pretty much provide respet care to keep her company. When I returned, towels and tee shirts were missing, one of the ladies complained my sisters bowel movments were very heavy which would explain the missing towels I assumed they were thrown away. Upon my return I found dry fecal matter on her sheets and on her leg. I was very disappointed especially after paying what I paid them. I did express my dissipointment but the lady who made the arrangements made me feel as if they were doing me a favor because I had an emergency. Moving forwad I will not use their services again. I made sure there were frozen meals. The staff that came were nice and friendly.

They were a great company prior [date removed]. Had wonderful help and great service from the administrative offices. Then the company was sold and we experienced overbilling and finally theft by one of their workers. Was told that we had no way to prove it was their worker so they wouldn't help us out. Don't let the idea that they are bonded fool you - they don't care and won't help you out, nor will they make good on the overbilling even when you have proved they were in the wrong.

After the first day they didn’t have a replacement for the girl who took the assignment. Told them we had to have someone everyday no matter what. Was told it would be no problem. Would not recommend.

All but one CNA either slept or took advantage of my aunt. One staff member was taking my aunt out every time she visited spending her money. She was officially taken off the case. This person continued to call my aunt. Brought her to her home for Thanksgiving. Showed up and would just take her to the movies. She also deleted everyone in her phone listing and left only her name. This wad all reported. Management said they couldn't do anything. Office staff were friendly. Was never able to speak with actual care giver. Always had to go through the office. Staff would never call even if asked them to. Most only took my aunt shopping for things she had and then they would go to eat on my aunts dime. Others sat , slept, maybe fed her? No one cared about medication management. Price was comparable to others in the area.

I do not have anything nice to say about Your Own Home care services. I do NOT recommend them to others looking.

I can not prove who but in the first few months of 2022 we had girls from your outfit caring for my wife [name removed] The names of the girls are;[names removed] one of them is a thief and took out of our home two dark blue boxes with thousands of dollars worth of faceted jewels. I know it is too late to get them back, or even how! but this I do know; God will deal with this woman. I say again; I can't prove witch one did it, but one of them did! and you hire thiefs and send them unknowingly to homes to take what they find. I am ashamed of that individual and your company for hiring such people, Yes! it is my loss and God will see that it is a loss to that individual who stole them.

Workers would show up early and they would start charging me when they showed up instead of for the hours I booked 11-4 The director is absent minded. Our first visit was over looked so she had to come out herself. The best worker I had was told she was pulling her to work in the office. One worker showed up 1/2 hr late and left early. All workers are pretty lazy. One kicked back in my recliner and slept. My son was home studying and called me. All they had to do was talk to [name removed], help him on his recumbent bike. Help him to the bathroom and give him the sand which I made to him for lunch. For $32 an hour I expect a little more interaction with the client.

We are not using them anymore, there is room for improvements.

Please take my advice and DO NOT use this company. I never received the signed agreement after numerous requests.They said they would be transparent in seeing and approving the aides timesheets and they have failed to do. Everyday they were late beyond an hour, and although there were promises that this would be fixed and closely monitored, they instead tell me that their aides worked additional hours beyond the agreed hours each day. When I cancelled the agreement, thinking I was giving a 72 hour notice, the CEO cancelled effective immediately. Now they are holding a week’s worth of money that should be refunded to me. My ring camera can prove the hours they worked, but the only response I received was I regret having you as a client. I will pursue getting my money back no matter what it takes. I had no concerns with his staff, except felt bad for them because they were put in a position to be late everyday due to how he schedules aides. I rate 0

The Coordinator was nice, but the caregivers were not helpful. What they can improve on is to show up, not cancel at last minute, and hire caregivers that are willing to work. I may have just contacted them at a bad time so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but the quality of service that they provided was not satisfactory.

In-home staff are all very kind and patient. However, the overall business management is extremely poor. My father is currently in hospice care, and the office staff expressed no empathy when we tried to cancel future in-home visits. I understand that there are policies in place, however the complete callousness ("Well you will still be charged - it's in your contract!") is absolutely disgusting. Zero compassion - shame on you.

I did not have luck with them or the other provider in the area-I believe it was Pathfinders's but am not 100% positive-That came one day and discharged my father due to behavioral issues (he had dementia which they were aware of so.....after that I sought private care until my father passed away. Better trained staff able to manage dementia and better communication from administrative staff on alternatives and discharge planning-No discharge or transition meeting-Just a voicemail without explanation

ACASA senior care was terrible . We had a gil not show up for a couple of days. Then the girl that first came did not know how to help my less than 90 pound mother up from the bed to a wheelchair and that was with the help of my 70 yr old sister who could not do this by herself. But the last lady that came was very helpful and kind. She had great patient care knowledge. But communication with administration was terrible. I can't say I would recommend Acasa.

We're no longer using Galaxy Home Care, I would never recommend them. Aide was habitually late or didn't show up. When we called to complain that an aide had not arrived they would send an aide who doesn't speak English and my mom only speaks English. Provided [fee removed] deposit. Last bill was less than that amount and they've never returned the difference to me.

No trained staff or licensed staff No transportation provided No activities No outings/ trips Menu is made out weeks in advance and there are no menu plans/options The owners are always on vacation with the whole family who all work here , a cruise or season passes to Detroit Lions games . The owners are always bragging about their trips and other outrageous things they do .

This facility and the in home service side of this businesses costs are above the max amount for the State. The services that are advertised are not the Services provided and the staff are not licensed care givers . The staff are barely educated in general care giving. This is nothing more than a glorified adult foster care home disguised as a medical facility. Think very hard and do more research before using any of this businesses services. I really regret using this businesses services , my family used all of our financial resources and would have had better care given in a cheaper facility .
