We used home care services for my mom through Honor Home Care San Mateo and I was not very pleased. My mom ended up getting a bed sore, which is finally healed up after over a year. And I paid a high rate per hour for 2 girls, 12 hours. They did nothing, they didn't even put my mom in a wheelchair to take her out to eat. With 2 people, they should have been able to do that. They told me that they would do that, but I heard that they only did it once, so I have no good comments for Honor Home Care. Cost me $8,000. My mom hasn't been out of bed since. I expected a little bit more care than what she got. I was very disappointed.

The caregivers most of the time didn’t show up. The care was margiinal Didn’t have replacements lined up so we've had. to change our plans to care for her very very limited cleaning we asked fo keep tidy some would and some wouldn’t We paid good money for bad service………………………….

I had never been exposed to a Caregivers Service, and was totally unprepared for the total invasion of privacy. I did have one who was good and she understood how difficult the whole thing was for me. We were able to work out an arrangement that we both could live with, and for that I am extremely thankful. Over all, this was the very worst experience of my entire life.

Very independable and unreliable as I've been waiting over weeks to receive scheduled services and only got excuses instead! Find you a different company that you can trust and believe for quality home health care needs!

I had a woman who was to aid me in showering 3 days a week. She was great the first visit and we were very impressed. 2 days later, on her next visit she ended up passing out in our home and needed us to take care of her! My husband got her juice and cookies. The “straw” was when she asked my husband to make her breakfast (she wanted eggs!) We are caring people but this was way beyond what we could have imagined. I don’t know how they vet their caretakers.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. There was no communication between the office in McPherson and myself. There were multiple times when the owner said that he would call me back and there was not one time that he actually did. They sent me people who had never made a bed in their life, couldn't drive to get groceries to make dinner and I would ask them to do simple things like sweep the front porch and ramp that my grandfather uses and I would have to do it myself because it was so poorly done or not done at all. I have had much better luck looking for someone on Facebook. Wouldn't recommend for your loved one or you.

Scheduled a service for home visit. No show no call. Rescheduled, they called a week prior and said that they don’t service the area. A complete waste of time!!!!! I will never use a facility that seems to manufacture incompetence.

The administrators are compassionate. The care giver assigned was a drama queen, but seemed to have a good heart and cared about my mom. But we found out that she stole my mom's car registration sticker. We saw it on her car. We also suspect that she took 1000 dollars from her.

Home Instead owes our family $[removed]. I have been trying to get this refund for 2 months. We were paying $[removed] a WEEK for 24/7 caregivers. I have been given all types of excuses why we haven’t gotten a refund, i.e. no one’s in the office; we talked about that at our meeting and I was sure you were going to be sent a check; the person who handles that is on vacation; the owner is out for the week and he’s the only one that can handle that. I left a online review on [date removed]. I received a phone call from a customer service rep.,[name removed], on [date removed] who assured me that he would “look into” the problem and have someone call me back. I received a call today [date removed] from the same person in the Lebanon office who had been giving me all the excuses. I wish I had known about Home Instead’s business practices before I got them to take care of my mother. I tell everyone I know to stay away from Home Instead!!!

I utilized this JC Homecares for my husband’s needs. First, I was not informed that payments must be done weekly. After the first service, they sent a text telling me to send my payment through Zelle. I was surprised because I thought agencies like this do not operate this way. I sent check for record purposes. The first check had no issue. When I sent the second check, there were so many questions about it. It was very frustrating going back and forth with the billing department. Never again will I utilize their services.

Their personal hygiene was awful. No shows with no call.

They charge too much especially compared with more competent providers and are not up front about their fees. I do not recommend their services to others.

She had a person in the house once a week. It didn't go well. Now there a much better replacement, but she's only been there once. We picked 4 Seasons because it was the only local company. The rest were National. I was trying to support local business.

The owner of the company came out to do an assessment. He was unprofessional. He talked about being an alcoholic. The nurse was supposed to show up and she never did. He said we could start 24 hou care immediately but then called when care was supposed to start and they did not have a caregiver. It was a mess and cause me more trouble then it was worth.

Overall experience is a one because my mother fired you guys for being terrible. No one showing up people showing up for their four hours and leaving after two without finishing half the work. Value for the money is poor, because it cost so much for this terrible treatment. People canceling at the last minute, or literally just not showing up at all.

Unfortunately, we did not have a successful experience with Home Instead. We hired them for overnight help and ended up having to help the help. The staff was unsuccessful in the task at hand. And now my mother is afraid to hire anyone from an outside agency.

I was going to use home care through Senior Helpers Camp Hill and even paid the deposit that they requested. They never showed for the first appointment and I never rescheduled. I have requested a refund of my deposit.

We were Amada clients for the past 6-7 years. Amada is none of the things they promised when we signed up. They DO NOT do caregiver training or basic skills verification, and multiple employees confirmed to me that Amada is hiring "warm bodies" they know aren't competent and placing them in people's homes. Amada caregivers relieved us of over $[removed]in food, $[removed] in damage to my custom-built cabinets, charged services for themselves (nail salons, beauty salons, etc.) on our credit card, added our card to a Venmo account and charged $[removed]-worth of the caregiver's bills to our account. Cleaning supplies and household décor disappeared weekly. Caregivers may or may not show up. They arrived late, left early, or spent entire days on their phones while my loved one was ignored. Caregivers left her in bed alone all day rather than doing prescribed exercise or providing company. Her condition has markedly declined under Amada's care, and what has been lost can't be recovered. They've abandon

I would never ever ever refer anyone to them.The worst experience ever.They claimed to know how to take care of someone with dementia.The last straw was when they took his debit card and used it.

We had set up for a caregiver to start on [date removed]. No one showed up and no one reached out to us about why. We reached out to [name removed] who informed us she was to come, but she was very sick. The boss, [name removed], did not reach out to us and never called us I spite of us leaving messages for her. Just left us hanging, so we called another service you recommended WHO DID THE SAME THING! Please be sure you don't recommend places that don't have the capacity to take on new clients.
