Don’t waste your time, the VP HIDES or is NEVER there, caregivers work for very little and still don’t get paid. This is sad and embarrassing for the company. It starts from the top, this company needs a VP who cares!

Well the company sold out to another company that ended up being Purpose Care and I would rate them a 1 across the board and recommend them to anybody! You could not speak to anyone in company except schedulers. Just sketchy all the way around. They are also somehow affiliated with A1Nursing Care. The Careworker's were getting shorted on their paychecks, which lead to a lot of call offs at last second, leaving me to have to cover their shifts.

I would like to give them a better rating but one of their workers stole my diamond engagement ring. The company refuses to do anything about it. If u hire them make sure u have cameras installed in every room. BEWARE!!

We haven't used Comfort Keepers since the end of July. There were lates with no call, no shows, then found a replacement that didn't come until 11:30am. Our needs were for 8am-4pm Mondays and some Wednesdays. The person they would relieve had to be at work by 8:30am. My sister was there to help for the train in with the Comfort Keeper helpers... sadly, only one time help came, on time. She was very hands on and did well, but was leaving for a different job in a week or so, to use her degree in Nursing. Also, people were to be trained for Moms needs, however, did not know what to do with a filled colostomy bag. We were told that help would be CNA certified, but said she was not certified. The last Wednesday we had noted we didn't need help and got a call that they were running late but sending someone out to Moms. We had noted that we already had my sister scheduled to help that Wednesday and didn't need help from Comfort Keepers. They sent the person back and still said they would [name removed]Mom. We conferenced with Comfort Keepers Nurse and case worker. After hearing why we needed to stop help from Comfort Keepers, from Faro, they complained they shouldn't have sent them so far to help Mom anyway. So, that meeting was also very disappointing. I am sad to say, it was not a good experience with Comfort Keepers, Fargo.

It is the worst company you can work for. They start you at [fee removed] no matter what your qualifications are. Give you a little bit of training like First Aid. They give jobs mostly to gays. As the mostly empty are gay. And you are on your own. I was taking care of an 97 years of age man. Who needed assistance in a bathroom. The Gay person was sitting 30 minutes in his car and was late. When he was asked to help a gentleman to wipe and clean up he did not know what to do. I took care of it. He ent back to his car and did not know what to do. It is unprofessional.

I would give them all zeros. The first caregiver was in the hospital overnight and she slept the whole time. The nurses on the floor even told me she was sleeping. The service was terrible!! A couple of times they called hours before they were to show up and said they were not coming. I had ask for 24 hour care for my husband and was not provided that care. I would NEVER recommend Home Helpers.

The owners didn't train their people and didn't deliver on any of the care plan activities. They also had zero knowledge of nutrition and meal planning. They sent caregivers who slept on the job, bought food for themselves with my father's money, filled his house with junk food that he won't eat.

I would never recommend that company. They had an arrest and felon watching my mother. They had another person steal a check from my mother. They had another person add cable services to her cable bill. They charged me extra when they couldn't manage their own personal employees. Honestly I should've filed a complaint with the state of Texas about them. They get the lowest rating for all categories. Based on the arrest record for a couple of the people they had watching my mother who had dementia they shouldn't even be in business. They change the rules on what costs we're going to be they even had one person walk out and leave my mother alone. And the worst thing they did was one person refuse to come back until the carpet was cleaned and the carpet need a cleaning because they wouldn't clean up after my mom threw up.

They are really struggling. I would not refer anyone to use AlbertaCare. We changed to a different home care company.

1000% would NOT EVER recommend in *[name removed]* While moving 4 people through my mom’s home for support with her ALS for the month of July, they promised “their best”. She began [date removed]. She wreaked havoc in my mom’s home. Left her there unattended and got into a confrontation with my mom to the point I had to come to the house. Long story short, I got thrown to the garage floor by the care taker after she was told to not enter the home again. She had been cooking food for her catering business all afternoon. Fast forward 2 years after they held the payment for the month of[date removed]for services not rendered and they cannot prove she did her job. There is no paperwork to be seen. I had to hire a lawyer to transfer the funds to me and now they are refusing to pay. They owe me that money and quite frankly should not be allowed to operate after you hired someone with a criminal record for domestic battery. See you guys soon!

Heads up , not a good company. Accepted a referral from the hospital, then no one shows up, not a nurse, not a physical therapist and not an aide. Then they try and say the aide services are not covered by Medicare which is NOT true. Medicare pays for home health aide when other skilled services are required for a patient. However, this company would rather the patient's family come out of pocket for services that should be covered. Be careful. To me this is not right, some may say deception.

My husband and I, after interviewing this company, decided to hire them. I was in the hospital, but were moving out of a long term care residence because my needs could no longer be met. We had a month to move. My husband has dementia, so I was hiring them to take care of him until I got out of the hospital. As part of their service, I asked if they could help pack. Yes, on Wednesday. Can they unpack? Yes, they can come to the house. Can you start taking care of him? Monday. On Tuesday, they canceled packing. Too overwhelming. So no one to help; movers canceled on Thursday, and we had to be out by Friday. The company then canceled the unpackings. On Monday, aide came to cook. On Tuesday, management came and said we had toxic mold in the garage, and everyone walked out, leaving my husband with no care!!! It took 2 weeks for HOA to find it wasn't toxic mold. I asked for refund of unused deposit. Mailing that day! Still haven't received it. They talk a good story, but don't come thru.

They show up late the first day supervisor was supposed to be there. Wasn't didn't call we had to call them the next day the caregiver sat on the couch and texted . Them 2 weeks later they found some one new who was great worked 2. Weeks had a family emergency. Didn't show up and we had to call them . They were supposed to get the keys back and find someone new a month latter still haven't heard from them I wouldn't recommend them to anyone if you really care about your family member !!!!

My neighbor had services, she cancelled because the caregivers sleep half the time, or just sit around. We called the office and they send the same people back. Crazy! If you need care for a loved one don’t go here, waste of money. Expensive too!

Caregivers are consistently late, sometimes rude or lazy. Sometimes they don’t show up at all. They don’t seem to have much training either. It’s very expensive for what you get. Office staff sends a lot of different caregivers too.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were NOT reliable. The workers frequently did NOT show up. I missed MULTIPLE days from work due to the unreliable service. It caused me even more stress than I was already taking on. Mom has since passed.

They were not able to find me a caregiver. I was very disappointed.

The experience was most disappointing. I was told one thing and then she did something else and didn’t even tell me till after several days, when I finally text her then she went into this story about she couldn't find anyone to fit my needs 2 days a week for 4 or 5 hours a day. As an adult working with another adult that's supposed to have been professional, I was simply jerked around. The truth isn't in this lady. It must be because I have leprosy.

There are no long time employees. I asked that they stick to at least two of the same ladies since it was part time, only fifteen hours per week. Every time I met & showed a new girl , a different girl would show up because the other girl would call in sick ( always an emergency ). More than once no one showed up & they didn't call to notify me until hours later. My Mom missed breakfast & morning medicines when this happened.

Unprofessional in weekend office. Caregiver was late, had not eaten dinner and then just didn’t show. Did let office know for late and no show. Supervisor whom I initially spoke to was great. Unfortunately, others were not. Had to release entire company.
