We contacted our insurer’s preferred providers thru CareScout as told and set up an appt with J&J. They did an assessment and immediately began sending ‘care’ one woman who asked a confused 85 year old what to do and was content to watch TV, and another who was more of a self starter, which was nice, but who didn’t have a drivers license, a KEY requirement for care needed. After many conversations with J&J ‘assuring’ they were identifying right provider, Genworth DENIED the claim. Not ONCE did J&J tell the 85 year old patient she needed to be incapacitated physically or mentally to qualify and they clearly knew she was not but began care and is now sending registered letters with $[removed] in bills. Do NOT use this agency unless you have the means to pay $[removed] and hour to have your home cleaned or have written prior approval from your long term care insurance provider.

Please beware. I have a elderly female friend whom at one point received care from this agency. The female who called my personal number is and was very rude to myself. I am a member of a Church but yet this lady whom I have been told was one of the owners was very unprofessional. My friend hasn't had a caregiver in One month. Yet they are one point were continuing to charge Medicaid for services not giving to her. Someone need to do a internal investigation on this company.

I did not have good experiences with them and discontinued using them. It was difficult to schedule a caregiver when we needed one.

D.U.B.S. home health care was hired for one month, [dates removed]. At a cost of $[removed] per month, with a deposit of $[removed] to be returned within a three month period from the closing date. Now a moving target, the return date went from [dates removed]. Refund date expired without any response to repeated inquiries from myself or my attorney. According to Google, D.U.B.S./ owner declared bankruptcy on [date removed]. True or not, I am not an expert on such matters. I only know she has my $[removed] and I have nothing except the power of the pen to help protect others. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bankruptcy does not always mean going out of business.

Unfortunately this service did not help us. We needed a care taker who could physically lift my mom from the bed to a chair. Instead of telling us they didn't have people who could do that . We kept getting care givers who could not help my mom and one also drop her (let her slide down to the floor ) and we had to call 911.

I would not recommend this company except to my worst enemy. The owner [name removed] made the classic future-failed-business mistake of over-promising and under-delivering. My family specifically went with Senior Helpers because of [name removed] assurances that he was “more than adequately” staffed to ensure the kind of coverage we sought for my mom. We already had experience with other PCA companies and were specifically seeking out a company whose staffing capacity would ensure my mother and her caregiver would be a good interpersonal fit. Unfortunately, Senior Helpers failed miserably and stated they could no longer provide care to my mother after a few short weeks due to staffing shortages. During the 3 weeks Senior Helpers attempted to be helpful my mother had 5 different caregivers. Consider a new business name—Senior Unhelpful or Senior Understaffed Helpers.

Really, I would rate them a zero. Would call at the last minute and say the sitter could not come. I would never recommend them.

Not much communication with my husband, didn't change him every two hours ( very incontinent) drafting my account 5 times for VA paid hours. It took a month to get the money back in my account. We were given different caregivers when we were happy with a couple of them. They couldn't send the best ones because they had overtime. New ones are not ideal with dementia. More needs to be done for cognition and mobility plus personal hygiene.

Many providers required too much supervision. Often when I left the room I would return to find them texting. They would take 3 breaks and I paid for the lunch break! I paid for time after the provider had left. Provider arrived and I said that I wasn’t expecting any one- she was gone before I closed the door. One provider called me a dictator and stormed out of my house, she left early. I had to provide care for one , cut her finger. She was paid while I was taking care of her. [name removed] couldn’t keep appointment on [date removed]. I needed some help [date removed]. Both my husband and I had surgery within the last two and a half weeks. I explained my husband had a TBI. The experience was frustrating ,, exhausting and expensive. We paid for time for very little help. I did have two days with kind, helpful and compassionate providers. I would like to dispute some charges!

Not a good experience. Last minute cancellations. One of the caregivers was flat out rude. Admin staff was unapologetic. Not a great experience for someone new to the program.

I wouldn't recommend the facility because they have a high turnover rate and my parents had a new caregiver each day. It was frustrating. The company was hard to communicate with and seemed very disorganized.

My mom enjoyed the person who came very much. She was friendly and reliable. However, communication with the office was a nightmare. The office kept on communicating with me to fill out a direct debit form for payment even though we made arrangements to pay in advance by regular check. This arrangement was acknowledged and approved several times, and yet we still got the request for payment information and even though I was communicating with the same person, there was no awareness or acknowledgment of our previous arrangements and conversations.

The owner is money hungry fake at end of day it is a business owner will hire anyone off street have no regard for family is unavailable does not call back FIND ANOTHER HOMECARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE this one will lie has no regard for family

They could not find and hire a caregiver to come and care for my wife.

I would not recommend Right at Home. Terrible experience The below applies to the caregivers They were lazy They called out all the time so either I was late to work or did not have anyone to stay with my husband Someone different every Friday Not dependable

She should not even be allowed to stay in business. It is a horrible operation. She sent a woman to see that I didn't fall:. She was blind in one eye, deaf in one ear and had vertigo so bad I had to help her.. I asked why [name removed] hired her when she obviously wasn't able to care for me and she replied that [name removed] nor her husband asked her one question about her health..

What they could improve on would be their timely service, friendliness, better quality meal and better price.

We signed my mom up for care after they told us she would receive a home health aide as long as it was in her doctors orders, along with skilled nursing. We picked them over agencies with better ratings because of this. However, once care was established, they claimed they never said she could have an aide (this is a direct lie). We decided to stay with them anyway since other agencies admitted outright they didn’t have aides. The skilled nurse was fine. The issue is she called in sick on Christmas Day. Then nobody picked up the 24/7 call line or return any messages for over 3 days. Don’t trust this agency with your loved one, the care is just mediocre and they are both deceitful and unreliable.

The man that came to the house was energetic and positive but when there were issues he wouldn't call us back. His sitters wouldn't show up and we couldn't get any call backs. The sitters they did have available to send stayed on the phone and had no interaction with my mother. It was really sad.

Do not provide services as advertised. Last minute notification if caregiver can’t make shift. A stranger will be sent unless you go meet them at last minute before shift begins. Reliable caregivers placed elsewhere and switched out with new unqualified caregivers. If you complain. They quit!
