Many of them are lazy, not proactive, have an attitude if you ask for certain things and some are on the phone most of the day or watching television most of the day and most can't even cook or turn a stove on. If I was you I would look somewhere else.

Only used them for 2 weeks until my dad passed unexpectedly. I think a total of 4 people came to the house. I live out of town, so that's why I hired them to help my mother. 2 of them were completely unqualified for the care needed. It was their first time doing such a job. One only wanted to do housework, not care for my father. The other didn't want to do anything other than sit there. The other two apparently tried but weren't very good at the job, according to other family members that stopped by to help. I was told by the agency that all were qualified in caring for hospice type patients & had previously worked in the industry. That was obviously a lie. I would never recommend them.

Incorrectly billed me (overcharged) and have been unresponsive to all of my attempts to contact them to resolve the problem. Don't take advantage of vulnerable people. Take responsibility for and fix mistakes.

Their billing practices are the worst. Do not agree to the auto-debit to pay their fees. They charged $[removed] in one month because they got behind on billing. Thankfully we had money to cover it but it was very difficult those few months but most families would not have had the resources. And then when I told them they did not have my permission to keep drawing money from that account they continued.

I needed help bathing and washing my hair. I was 72yrs old, 5'9" and 165ibs. I was sent a petite 83 yr old woman to help me. I did want her to even try. She looked frail and small. She was very nice, very friendly. I did ask her to do some chores around the house like fold clothes and take out the trash and empty the dishwasher which she did not complete. It was ridiculous. I discontinued the service after one visit.

When we met with the marketing team, they were prompt and all was professional. We signed up. We had a need for periodic light housecleaning. On the day for the housecleaning, a young 19 year old girl came one hour earlier than expected. She did some work that I would grade as C- to D, on a scale from A through F. When her shift ended, she had no way home. She called her mother, then an aunt, and no one could come to take her home. Eventually, after about 45 minutes, and calling an Uber, one came for her. I gave her some help so she could cover her ride. It inconvenienced me as I had an appointment that afternoon. But, having discussed it with Senior Helpers, I gave another chance. This time the father drove the new girl. She said that she hoped he would also pick her up. Although she was pleasant, she was not well trained for the job. I'd give her a rating similar to the first. But the Company is the one responsible for hiring and thoroughly training these young people for the work and skills. I was very disappointed and will not call them again. If this company wishes to succeed, they should put more money and effort into hiring assessments and training.

Very disappointing. A lot of last minute cancellations..caregivers were doing other things during work time with us..picking kids up from school etc ..looking for other jobs...we went with visiting angels and they were great..one or zero stars for cornerstone.

We no longer use them. The side working for my dad was rude, insubordinate, and always late. I would never recommend Galaxy

My fathers companion , who was his primary caregiver , was not happy with the person they sent . she complained but they had no other options and offered no help. she ended up cancelling early because she did NOT want that person in the house . and we paid $[removed] penalty for no cancellation notice which was absurd . i would not recommend them.

The caregiver almost died while at our house bc she mismanaged her diabetes. The owner and representative never answered when the emergency was happening. Caregiver poorly moved my mother with no gate belt. Moved into our home with her belongings like she was moving in for the year. Company took way too long to refund our money. Worst experience ever. You should terminate the contract tract. They send unqualified people to homes with Magee health problems. Huge liability

Inconsistent staff, disrespectful & lack of empathy. Hire more Hispanic personnel, make sure the givers are actually gear to care and not play or sleep, do background checks

Not a good experience as a former employee. Communication is not priority of company. Failure to follow up with employees. No gas mileage reimbursement for requested transporting for clients. Lacks organization.

This company charged $[fee removed] and only sat with my dad 7 days, one of them didn’t feed him during the day while they were sitting with him. They were notified of my dads passing and still called while we were making funeral arrangements to collect another payment.. all of this was before we actually looked up the “Director” Shame on you Precious Care! I went by the address on the website and it is a low income apartment complex, I also drove by the address on the contract and there is no such address. Suite J doesn’t even exist. I have added pictures to the reviews on their website of what I found. BEWARE!

The service was pathetic. They did nothing for me. One fell asleep on the couch she was snoring I said snoring. The young one was not concerned at all. She sat on my couch with a cell phone half the day and she was going in and out and this I have on video which is hysterical. I have ADT and when you open the door, it sends a chime I want to video. I see you trying to open the door back-and-forth so that chime wouldn't go off then she orders food to be delivered and then she comes with a new laptop sits on the countertop and decided to put it together the best yet is she goes outside several times talking on her phone and she's gone for about a half an hour when she came in she she redid her hairdo into braids. No one can be reached by a phone. There's about eight people in the office. No one calls even the staff had issues reaching them. The girls that were here. I told him I'm not paying the whole bill I paid half. I asked one if she could make a pot of coffee she said no let the next girl do it. This was the worst service I have ever had. I contacted the leader. I forgot her name and told her exactly what happened and then I have it on video she never returned my calls or any calls that I made to her. They were supposed to show up one day never did I had a doctors appointment and I had to ask my friend to drive me the one that was sleeping on my couch. she decided to take my remote started watching what she liked. I took a note of everything somewhere advised me to get this device, called blink and set it up where I could see what rooms they should be in and not be in I did and that's how I caught everyone doing what they were doing. Nothing is that enough for now, I would never ever send them out. I believe their main office is in Venice. They have a small little place in Port Charlotte which [name removed] anyone's there. Everybody's in the Venice office. I got a picture of all the staff in the Venice office at least eight. None pick up the phone at all.

Benefits of Home advertises that they provide Dementia Care, but it is false. Dementia care is complex and the aides who are sent by Benefits of Home clearly do not receive the required training on how to manage and communicate with those with moderate to severe dementia and memory issues. They also advertise personalized care such as housekeeping, but their aides often refuse to do certain housekeeping duties and seem to pick and choose what they want to do. And if your senior is not nice and pleasant, as is the case with many people with dementia, watch out they will drop you like a hot potato claiming they don't have employees with the skills to support your senior. They should not advertise expertise they do not have.

1st CG they sent can talk all day - she volunteered the info that her previous customer complainted to Koda for this and costed her 3 weeks without work until they sent her to me. 2nd CG was even worse - 1st day went ok, 2nd day he was suppose to walk in the neighborhood but instead he drove my husband with severe dementia to Laguna Beach without asking for my permission. When I called and learned he went to the beach. I told him to come right back he said NO, and he wanted to spend the day in the beach. I immediately hung up and call the owner. 30 minutes later CG drove my husband back and screaming in my driveway that I jailed my husband at home and wanted to take him to a facility. 2 minutes after he left my house, he drove back and took picture of my house. All these were witnessed by my 2 neighbors, and I videotapped for KODA owner.

I fired them because their caretakers where no call no shows, they would show up late and missed a lot of work and not worth the amount of money. They always complained very unprofessional.

Stay away from this company, they are nice upfront to take your money. The majority of the time they provide unhelpful, rude, and unqualifies aids. NOT only are their workers unqualified, they have not returned thousands of dollars to my mother and stopped returning our calls. STAY AWAY

They don’t pay they workers they hire anybody to work it’s hard getting employees to come out to my house. They never on time most of all they don’t show up. It’s hard to get the ladies on the phone. I have a lot of employees complain about getting paid; they never have gloves cleaning supplies. I have people come out that don’t want to clean cook or even get my dad dressed nor the nurses never come they always saying next week they called off when I do get someone on phone.

If you write a bad review, they will not post it. They have to look over it first, which is ridiculous. The staff sleep at night time as their client is very lazy, and it’s a little ridiculous when you’re getting paid that much money as much as that company charges people is ridiculous. It's because it’s family owned.
