All they did was clean the house. Never once talked to my friend to make her feel comfortable. Asked her to go upstairs with her. Then told her supervisor that when she told my friend to stay downstairs she followed her. So they wanted to get a baby gate. And my friend didn't want a baby gate. It was all messed up. She did go to the store for her. My friend felt uncomfortable to ask to get her haircut.

I needed someone with some motivation to help me and the person they sent just wasn't that person, especially at the price I was paying. The person kind of frowned on helping me with a new vacuum that I'd purchased. That was the only thing she DID for me while she was there.

We had a very disappointing experience with Home Helpers and would not recommend them. The caregivers they sent were extremely unprofessional. On multiple occasions they would go outside for extended periods of time to smoke and talk on their phones instead of attending to my Mom. My sister stopped by unexpectedly and found the caregiver sleeping during their shift. This was very concerning considering we were paying a lot of money for care. Even more frustrating was that when these issues were brought to the attention of the owner, nothing ever seemed to change. The same problems continued to occur and no corrective action was taken so we changed agencies. I would STRONGLY encourage families to do thorough research before choosing this agency.

We had 26 pain pills disappear, and only the sitter had access, we didn't have a lock box at that time. Only 2 of us and we weren't when they disappeared. Also specifically told a sitter to not touch the fridge as I needed to do it, and we returned to all the old stuff was left and over half of the fridge items were gone, even the 2 freezer were almost empty.

They were late almost every time and when we had something scheduled they would cancel and have no one to come. They were suppose to help her shower so she wouldn’t fall. They sat in the living room on the couch instead of helping her

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have poor communication and can't always cover the days you need. Staff like most is poor. I was waiting for a call back to confirm our needs and did not hear from them for a week. [Name Removed] then accused me of not communicating with them when she said she would call back to confirm. After a week I sent a message saying we will not be working with them anymore. Shortly after I get a message from a different number as if nothing saying they have someone for only a day or two and not what we need. No acknowledgement that they left us hanging for a week and then blames me. Terrible service from [Name Removed] saying I did not respond to her after the messy when I already messaged that we won't be using there service since they have poor communication and then blame you also they can't cover your needs. Will never recommend this place.

We used this agency for 2 days while my dad was dying of cancer. He needed support while my spouse and I were working and we had hoped home instead could allow us to work and keep him cared for. The second carer we had sat on my sofa for 5 hours on her phone, doing nothing. My spouse and I had to leave work early to care for my father that day, and after until his passing, as the carer refused to do any of his cares, including ambulation and giving medications based on the regimen hospice provided to manage his pain. We complained to the agency who said they would take care of it. 4 months later, without a word from the agency, we received litigation notices about unpaid costs associated with this worker. We were able to work through a legal aid to address this. Don’t add stress to yourself or your loved ones passing by working with these charlatans. Find someone better.

They acted all concerned and helpful-then met with my elderly uncle alone- took $[removed] from him and we think got him to sign a contract AFTER we asked them not to have him sign anything due to his dementia. Once we saw the withdraw on his bank statement I reached out to them asking for a refund and they have never responded.

I did not find this organization to be reliable caregivers. I asked for a caregiver to cover for a couple of days when my father’s caregiver was on vacation. I had her come in one day early to shadow his regular caregiver. On her first day, I had an alert on my dad’s camera, and when I checked it, my dad was still in bed, and the caregiver was sleeping on the recliner in the living room. He had not had breakfast or gotten ready for the day and it was after 9:00 am. I went to the facility, asked her what was going on, she told me that she had no care plan for him ( she spent the day shadowing his regular caregiver), and told me she was going to use the restroom, and just left. I was still charged for the full day. Bottom line, I would not recommend this agency.

Disappointed with the lack of communication. Different caregivers sent without notice. No notes left. My mother has mild dementia, we do not know if or when she took medication. We did not have information about meals prepared or eaten. It was not what we had hoped for.

The ladies they sent out were ok. No issues with caregivers. Administration and people in charge of the billing are horrible. At first took out before we scheduled, then had to put it back. Then turned right around and did the same thing again. Then didn't bill us for 3 weeks. We fired them and I'm still getting bills. Unless the guy that does the billing is replaced, do not hire. It is a logistical nightmare.

Cornerstone Caregiving is an agency that only cares about how much money they can get in a monthly basis. The caregivers are not trained and lack experience! Standing over top of a patient while the patient is laying in bed is absolutely unacceptable! The owners of each branch all compete against one another to see who can grab clients. They will promise you they have aids available for your needed time but won’t have anyone. Communication is nonexistent. Went through MANY different aids in just a few weeks and multiple aids never showed. You will never get CONSISTENT care. I will never refer anyone to this agency! My mother used AngeliCare for several years. Now that she no longer needs their services, no one seems to care. We were told a deposit refund check would come by mail in August and it’s now February. Attempts to move this along have resulted in unanswered communications or unfulfilled promises.

My close friend works for this company and her parole checks are connected to an account with no money in it. It’s been almost two weeks and the bank still won’t let her cash it due to insufficient funds. This also isn’t the first time this happened to them.

Bad office support. Care takers are great. Can not depend on office support. No callback. You have to contact them if you need information then they can not answer your request. Say they will have someone call. Don’t happen

I reached out to this company to seek help for my mother in law and was put in contact with [name removed]. I spoke with [name removed] and gave her the detailed information of my mother in laws situation. Explained to her that this was an urgent matter and needed someone to reach out as soon as possible. This was the week before Thanksgiving [date removed]. The following week we had to contact her back and she spoke with my brother in law ( the patient’s son & caregiver) and she was supposed to follow back up with him and no one ever reached out to us. We moved on and found different resources. I will not reach out to this company ever again.

They are unreliable and disorganized. Don't use them.

The director lied about telling me that an interview was going to be all the way in San Marcos and not Austin where it was posted for. I had even mentioned to him that I thought there was in office directly behind my house which there was but he didn't correct me and tell me it was in San Marcos until an hour before the interview. He didn't apologize or anything. He just asked me if I could make it or not and I could not and so he said he was going with somebody else. This is the type of company and people I would never want to work for. So beware

Caregivers were very helpful but scheduling was terrible. I was scheduled with 7 different caregivers in mg first week and when i tried to have the same person for my second week the office told me t it would be " overtime " and I would have to pay more! I told the scheduler at the start I wanted one person and matching me with so many caregivers was beyond believable I will not recommend this company

They will disappoint even your lowest expectations. I was assured several times that they could help by the man on the phone who answered. The “nurse” comes for the free assessment and tells me that they don't offer skilled nursing and she cannot check over my mom- what's the point of having a “nurse” come for an assessment then??? Don’t call yourselves nurses if your really just a sitter.
