[name removed] put diapers in city recycling bins that have stickers on the lids of what not to put in recycling. She locked herself in the bathroom that she has used numerous times and shoved open the door causing damage to the door frame. The door opens inwards and she tried to open it outwards. Mom is always clean, her clothes and bed linens are always clean. [name removed] she would leave pans dirty, allowed grease to run over inside the oven, she frequently ate our food and or take grocery items home with her. [name removed]used the counter top as a cutting board when several were available until we advised her to use the cutting boards. :[name removed]encouraged mom to eat cranberries to help with her UTI's which was helpful. Gloria has mom do some neck exercises.

We used home care services through Synergy HomeCare of Conroe for my husband. Their reliability is poor. They canceled several times at the last minute and there was no substitute offered. This was even dangerous because, the day my husband had a stroke, they had called and canceled and if I had already left the house my husband probably would have died! I understand that things happen, but when you are relying on someone being there it can be a matter of life or death. Some caregivers were definitely better than others. Some had initiative, others needed to be told every single thing to do. I would not recommend them to people who need extensive help, these clients need reliable people.

We have one excellent caregiver whom is emus M-Th. The other days have been challenging to fill and we have had to ask [name removed] to change our caregivers. They have done so swiftly , but we think it would be better if they matched caregivers instead of simply opening up for anyone to pick up shifts. Amada HQ staff very friendly and responsive . CNAs not always

I would not use them again. They can improve with the office staff, and getting new aides.

Try them out I believe you will have a good experience.I would recommend to others. They got back with me first. We had a good interview. They had worked with Parkinson's before which is what I needed.

There are issues like in all service businesses, all in all I am appreciative there was a service I could trust. Thank you too all our friendly caregivers.We have very limited choices in our small town.

I like the current caregiver. What I did not like is there were 7 people who came and left within 2 months. This was not good for my mom who is a very easy client. They need to do a better job of vetting their employees.

We gave 3 for everything but the administrative staff we could give a 5 to. They were able to staff our needs only 3 days during our first month. I assume they have the same problem most businesses are encountering today with sufficient staffing.

We used home care services for my loved one through Senior Helpers Central Texas. The issue in the beginning was many different staff over a five day period, one day no show and then a consistent care giver that did not have the right skill set needed. She was kind, but not the right fit. After about four weeks, I opted to try a different company.

The caregiver was very emotionally needy herself, we could rate her a 2 but the administrative staff would get a 5. She had no vehicle and was living in a hotel with her kids. I found the quality of care very expensive for the service provided .

Make sure you ask about holiday pay. It came as a compete surprise that they charge for the 4hrs on Labor Day was 2 1/2 times the normal rate. I picked this community because it sounded like a good fit for my Mom. I met the two ladies that would be taking care of her and now neither of them is available & we have the daughter of the primary caregiver.

Based on the experience we have had with Cornerstone Caregiving, we have noticed that it is really a hit or miss depending on the individual caregiver. Some are great, other less so. There needs to be more communication between caregivers and a better onboarding for new ones of likes/dislikes/routines etc. Cornerstone Care helped my mom when I was two hours away and then eighteen hours away to provide assistance when I was unable to do so. I am thankful for this. However, they have room for improvement.

The aid I was assigned was very courteous, but lacking in the desired training to care for me. I don't ask for much, but when the aid sees a person needing assistance, they should react. I'm mobility challenged and fear falling. My aid was constantly sleeping and attentive to her phone. That is not proper job performance.

It wasn't favorable in the beginning. At first I had trouble getting assigned a helper. But they seem to have found somebody more consistent, and that person does a good job overall. With Senior Helpers sending so many different people in the beginning, and proposing so many schedule changes, I'm not sure I would go this route again if I had to do it over again.

The management staff teams seems to really be genuinely responsive to our needs and have been trying their best to be accommodating so we give them 5 stars for effort. However with us only hiring them for a couple days during the week it has been somewhat difficult for them to fill that specific spot and have a consistent schedule.

The first night they sent a great person. Then the next night they sent a young person that didn't relate to my loved one. The next night CNA stayed for 2 weeks then quit on us because she couldn't deal with our dog. She was terrified of him & he is a sweetheart. Also, she couldn't deal with my loved ones dementia and bowel issues. Since she quit we haven't had anyone because we can't find someone to deal with animals in the house.

I only used their services one time and the caregiver did not show up the second day so it was not the best experience. They did not notify anybody - I reached out the next day to them to let them know. I tried to set up another appointment and they would not answer. I also sent an email and they replied asking questions that I had already specified. Communication was not the best on their part and needed improvement.

The service was okay. The rules and requirements seemed to be a little off. For instance, the last time a caregiver was here, she left at 4:00 and was supposed to be there until 6:00. The manager just closed the contract because I didn't do one thing she wanted - I was simply getting more information. But I chose to just let her close out the contract. I was not happy with the way things turned out. Of the three caregivers, one was superb. But the others did not seem to be up to the standards of what I required for my person.

As with everyone else, they are short handed. The person that they have to help out can help some, but cannot provide the amount of care that we need for our loved one to be left alone with them. They have limited staff and especially for those that require more care.

The caregiver that I have cannot attend to my mother the way that she should be. I am having to still do things and go to things with my mother. She also does not know how to cook which has been an issue. She is a very nice person and super honest, but she is not as helpful as we were hoping. It is very expensive especially for not getting the quality of care that we are needing.
