My Dad has zero short memory. We lost Mom 4-1/2 years ago, and since then he is terribly depressed, is ready to die and be with her. My brother, sister-in-law and self were his only company, and we couldn’t be there every day. Dad got so depressed he wouldn’t get out of bed unless someone was there. He refuses to eat, only drinks a LOT of chocolate milk. His bloodwork is still amazing for an 86 year old, takes no medication, overall healthy except dementia. Our caretaker from Amada is [name removed]. She comes as “a neighbor from down the street” three times a week. Dad never remembers who she is, but is always glad to see her. She patiently answers the same questions a hundred times a day, how old am I, what is the temperature, when did my wife die, where is my cat (even if cat is right there), where do you live, etc., almost nonstop. He just wants someone to talk too. [name removed] has gone over and above expected, even shoveled his driveway, she has never missed a shift.

Outstanding care by knowledgeable and caring people. Caregivers are attentive and responsive. Agency goes out of their way to ensure a qualified caregiver is present. The caregivers are very compassionate.

From the very first contact with Senior Helpers, I knew they would be who I would pick. [name removed], Care Manager, was my first contact with their company. We discussed what they could do for me and [name removed] came out to our home to work up a program. Senior helpers do not have minimums that you have to contend with and they are willing to work around any problem that may arise. All of the caregivers that helped us were very professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them and will gladly work with them in the future.

My first call was answered by the owner and he explained what they provided and how they matched up caregivers to clients. Exactly what we needed. The owner was terrific and his people have been excellent. Caregiving requires consistency and fluidity and HomeWell Care provides both. Highly recommend.

The Home care worker did an excellent job taking care of my mom for one day. I needed to find someone for one day due to traveling. The Home Helpers Homecare set up this for me with very short notice. It took less than an hour for the paperwork to be filled out including going over my mom's various needs for the day.

[name removed] is the best and very reliable. She's comfortable with [name removed] and he's comfortable with her. They have a routine and couldn't ask for anyone better. She's helpful and works with him on his memory care.

This was the first time looking for assistance with caregiving for my husband. For me it was an impossible task, just thinking about it was so hard (giving up some of his care, worrying about how he would respond, needing peace of mind, getting help, not knowing what I was doing). Evergreen made it easier for me, answering questions and picking a good match for us. I have been happy with my choice.

We started with A Place At Home after my dad came home from the hospital. Mom and Dad needed additional support in their independent apartment. The caregivers provided our compassionate and help out with day-to-day things. It is a relief to know that they have support in the home to manage showers, pills, physical exercise, light housekeeping, etc. A Place At Home has been easy to work with at a fair price.

Our caregiver, [name removed], has been wonderful. She keeps our mom well fed, showered, and is a great companion. She gives us feedback from any doctor appointments and physical therapy and motivates our mom to move her body. Mom loves her!

Steadfast was a great agency to work with. They had great communication with the clients, provided good care and totally understood the needs of the patient and family. The staff was flexible when our needs changed and was one of the only agencies we dealt with that let us meet a caretaker prior to having them come on site.

We have had a fantastic experience with Senior Helpers from the initial meeting with [name removed] to our wonderful caregiver [name removed]. [name removed] was so sweet and gentle with my dad and very attentive. She followed all our instructions and kept us informed on how he was doing. She even brought him cupcakes as a treat! We will continue to use Senior Helpers for help with my father.

We have been a difficult family to work with. And although our needs did rapidly change, synergy made sure that they had caregivers available and resources to assist with our mom‘s needs. Even before and after surgery and recovery. And they also kept my sister and I in the loop with all the changes and care that was happening. Since we both live far away from our mother, it has been essential in her care.

The ladies were wonderful in dealing with my oersinal hygiene needs providing support as I worked on walking again with a walker. My husband truly appreciated help with laundry and keeping kitchen and bath clean. Highly recommend!

The care my husband has received has been exceptional—thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply human. The team treats him with genuine respect and kindness, and their consistency and attentiveness have given our family real peace of mind. They truly feel like an extension of our family, and we are incredibly grateful for the care they provide.

I love Assisting Hands. I enjoy the help they offer, including their help with things that I am no longer able to do and for fixing wonderful meals, along with the companionship. Best decision I have made in the last few years.

We hired HomeWell Services to assist my 72 year old brother as he needed. He was depressed and unable to care for himself. From day one, they have shown up to get him out of bed, fed, showered, shaved and ready for his day. Management, our care liaison and the caregivers have all been wonderful and have worked hard over the past 3 months to get my brother back on track. Every person involved is flexible and willing to evaluate and introduce new goals. We have been very satisfied with the care given.

I had bad experience with couple of other companies and we found Homewell and we are happy with them. Also their prices are reasonable compared to others. Only thing is one of care giver quit without any notice , but this might happen with any other company.

The person I worked with to set things up was very responsive and made it easy to get services started. He listened to what we needed. I felt like he wanted to make sure all went well. It was easy to modify care hoirs and frequency as needed. The caregiver was kind and punctual. The agency has caregivers experienced with the specific type of care (cognitive issues) we needed.

Everyone they have sent out to sit with my mom have been absolutely terrific! I cannot say enough great things about them! Courteous, friendly and very helpful. The cost per hour is higher than other similar services that I had checked out, but we went with Home Instead because my initial conversation with them was the most professional and knowledgeable and generally understood our needs.
