I did not have any issues with the Goldleaf HomeCare. They worked for us and without them we would not have been able to take care of my loved one. Overall it was a good experience with the caregivers that came.

They come out to the home and do the visitation. The staff is friendly.

All Help Health Services is not the scenario that I wanted for my mom. I am not sure if it was from the care they gave but 4 days into their care she developed a severe UTI and had to go to the hospital. I don't know if the caretaker didn't clean her properly or what. The only thing I did not like about this service was the guy was crazy with the women trying to do a side deal. He tried to send me a contract that says he literally owns me. This while mom was in the hospital. The caretaker was very nice and kept our house very neat. She did what she was supposed to. They were just kind of pushy and all about the money. I'm not sure if they needed more business or what. From what I've heard he is better than most. I would still look around and see if I could find a different company. The contract this guy gave me was not one I would give to employees.

They are good about communicating and when I raised concerns about one of the caregivers they got right on it. I think a lot of the agencies are about the same. The agency is only as good as it's caregivers. The commitment and the right reasons for having the job are not always present. It is just one of those things.

Working with this agency hasn't bit a complete disaster although it could have gone better in the beginning. The initial interview went well but once they arrived they realized that they don't actually service my area and ended up referring me to their sister agency that does. I was under the impression that i would be going through the same interview process but when the person came it was as though services would begin without going through the same interview process which I didn't like nor did I appreciate it. The issues I had were addressed and things have been going well since the initial confusion. All in all things are good.

The ladies were all kind and my grandmother took to most of them. We'd asked that no one with an accent be sent because my grandmother can't understand, but they sent one anyway. Had to rearrange things.

Working with Senior Helpers was full of ups and downs. We used them for a while but are no longer using their services. Some caregivers were good while others were terrible. The agency did react quickly to rectify any issues but overall the services were a bit mediocre. ii would not recommend to a friend.

Working with Senior Helpers was a very frustrating experience. Although the caregivers that came were amazing the scheduling was all the way off. The agencies sent schedules in the middle of the month so my mom was never aware who was coming most of the time. There were several times that the caregiver didn't even show up and we weren't made aware until the last minute which is completely annoying! It's been a roller coaster of an experience and I'm glad it's done and over.

We worked with Home Instead for a brief time and it was okay. The agency is very responsive although the caregivers vary on the quality of care they are willing to provide. I guess you can say it was mediocre overall.

I did most things myself but it was good to have Right at Home to come in and help out with mom whenever I needed to get out. The service was really great. The only issue I can say that I ever had with them is one of the times that I had an appointment, she didn't know that we had a dog and she was terrified of dogs, so that didn't work out. Other than that it has been a good experience.

They are very timely, well organized, and a very well run company. I do wish that they would send the same people out for each trip. They send a different person out for each trip, and as such we need to go over some of the same things over and over again.

I think my rating will improve as my concern has been with the CNA not the service. Unfortunately, the young CNA has not been reliable either arriving late or not at all. However, tonight when I had already left my home only to have her not show and not call for sometime, I called the agency and they worked diligently and had someone at my home with my mother promptly. So ask again after a new CNA is assigned to our case.

I found them to be very responsive, and came out very quickly. They were not inexpensive, but I didn't shop around. I had used a private person before, and that didn't work out well. The only thing I would warn people about is that they added on an 30 dollar a day fee, for the drive to my house. It would be nice if that was something they mentioned up front, or tried to find me someone more local. The caregiver was nice, she wasn't the best cook, but she could manage some basics. It's not deductible on your income taxes, unless you exceed a very high thresh hold.

They come into our house to provide care. They do everything we ask. The cost is a little high, but they're all high. There is nothing to be said about activities. They all seem like very caring individuals. They are all very friendly, very personable, seem to care about the people. I don't like the fact that we don't like the person all of the time, but it may be because we don't use them for all that many hours.

We are very happy with the people that have come out so far. However my loved one has gone through three people so far. It seems like they want more hours than we can pay for, so they leave. My loved ones are very happy with the lady that comes out, but now she wants more hours. We have been very good about communicating how many hours we can pay for and I feel like they should send someone for whom that works. Other than that we have been pretty happy with them.

Senior helpers of Portland is ok. At first they sent people that didn't work out, but the ones we have now are working out well.

We had a pretty good experience with them. We had a difficult time finding a compatible caregiver. They were patient about it at first, but after a while they seemed to give up. Billing was also a little bit of an issue. Eventually we did find a great caregiver. Even after moving she still comes and visits, just to say hello.

I have been caring for my parent for eight years, by myself, so I appreciate this four hour, three days a week help, but believe me, it is extremely difficult to have a person come into our life changing routines and criticizing the way I have been doing things for eight years. I put up with it because I know Mom needs the extra help, and frankly, I am becoming exhausted. This is so difficult. This particular caregiver service in my home is better than nothing and in the long run, we have to just do the best we can. I wonder if others feel this same way?

Goldleaf Caregivers provided in-home care and companionship and is not a residence facility. Cleanliness is not applicable. They were friendly people and Dondiego was up against difficult clients. Unfortunately we got little in the way of feedback and care notes. Any we got was at our insistence.

I think they're good overall. We're still using them.
