We use care services through Senior Solutions Home Care for my loved one and everything about our experience has been great so far. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. The care services are great. The value for cost is also great. I would highly recommend Senior Solutions Home care to family and friends.

We use care services for my loved one through Home Instead Portland West. It's been mostly very good, but a few caregivers needed more training before caring for a hospice patient that is mostly in bed. The housekeeping varies with each caregiver, but they are always willing to do something if asked. The office staff is always very receptive to requests and concerns. The caregivers are always respectful and friendly. I think it's a bit more expensive than some other agencies, but it has been nice to know that there will always be someone here when needed. I would recommend Home Instead Portland West to others.

I would recommend them. We picked this community because, the owner was so helpful. Willing to help me even if I decided not to use his services. He always answers his phone.

I am very pleased with their commitment to my mother's wellbeing.They were the first to reach out to me and their experience with dementia patients is a necessity since I have no prior experience in that area, especially when Mother becomes agitated and difficult to deal with.

I rated value for cost lower because the care is expensive, it costs more than I make. However, my loved one is taken care of and that's what matters.

Very passionate and reliable caregiver. I scheduled with caregiver at last minute. Was punctual and outgoing when arrived for intake. We were able to get care started 2 days later. I am very grateful!

This agency was wonderful! My mom was taken care of by this agency and she seemed to be loved and appreciated which I love. The staff does a great job with communicating with me throughout the day and my worries are gone

There are some lovely people who work for this company. Two of the aides we used became family to us. We had some aides that weren't so great but they were always happy to switch them when we worked with someone who wasn't a good fit. The casemanager was lovely and attentive in the beginning but as the months went on she was difficult to get in touch with and said she would look into certain things and wouldn't get back to me or return my calls. The woman in billing and the woman in scheduling were great and always sent me receipts and changes in schedule if needed. We had challenges with a particular aide and they immediately addressed it. My main issue was that they changed our contract from 24 hours to 12 hour shifts without notice (it's double the price) and without getting my thoughts if I was ok with this change prior to making it. Unfortunately, that was enough to end our contract, as well as a challenging aide and we hired privately. Great company for the most part.

This was a very sad and difficult situation. 2nd family provided care and support to me as well as my mom and dad. When mistakes were made they corrected them. We are grateful for everything you did to make life a little less complicated.

This was my first opportunity to use the services of 2nd Family and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The care was easy to arrange, the responsiveness from the office staff was timely and the costs were all explained up front.

They care for my in-laws, who live a few hours a way, so that makes my life easier. They manage medications and help them with household needs, such as tolieting and food.

The ease they provided, and the fact that if someone called out they were able to provide coverage. They really jumped through hoops to find someone to replace the aide.

They show concern for the client and they are very kind to her, and they keep her clean.

I like the ability to get hours of care. They do everything we ask them to do. My mom hasn't had any issues. The caregiver listens to her needs. The office staff has helped out with scheduling the most. The caregiver is punctual and on time.

I like that they are flexible. She only sees the caregiver once a week so there is not much of an impact on their daily life. The caregiver chats with (her) and they communicate together and talk about the work that she does because she is a retired medical assistant. They are helpful because they are always flexible. When (she) has doctor's appointments they change the caregiver to come at another time. Their compassion makes them get along so well with each other.
