They were quick to respond and that was very helpful!

They were fine. And Mom liked the ladies but we couldn't afford their services anymore. Went with private people that are working out well. Based on the experience we have had with Home Instead, I would recommend their services to other families

Home instead is home health care and not a facility so I don't feel all these categories apply but I will rate the best I can. The aids occasionally call out and then we have no one or a substitute that doesn't know them. They clean and do laundry which is what they need bit sometimes could do an extra step. All aids are friendly. With the value for cost, that is a good question and depends on the aid that day. Some are very lazy and do bare minimum while others do exceptional care. They aids cook breakfast and lunch- whatever Dad and Alice want but they don't do dinner and my Dad has to do himself and he is not safe cooking. They started Meals on Wheels this week but that is only 2 days a week. I wish the aids would cook dinner and leave for them to just heat up. They do NO activities even though we have games and puzzles to do to for the dementia. The minimum requirement of hours is 4 hours that they have. Wish they actually worked the 4 hours but it is partly based on what Dad and Alice ask for and that is not that much.

I would give them an overall rating of 4.9 and a rating of 5 for everything else. The reason for that is that sometime they struggled with maintaining a team for only Saturday on the weekend. That changed when I required help for the whole weekend and it was much easier to maintain the team they put together for me. They accommodated my needs as they evolved and when anyone cancelled they personally filled the slot. Overall they are wonderful people and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We've worked with 3 caregivers, but 2 of them more often and they've been good, although each comes with their own skill set. Some of those skills are more helpful than others. [name removed] has been very helpful and flexible in getting us caregivers and makes herself available almost 24/7. I appreciate her flexibility and attention to detail. We took a break from AMADA because my mom went to Hawaii for a couple of weeks, but continue to use them now that she is back.

There screening process and experience requirements of the caregivers they hire were extremely thorough. Would recommend.

They were available and responsive on a quick schedule. They work with my schedule and they were able to help us out in short notice. I would recommend them for in home care.

We’ve used SHS… and unfortunately our first caregiver had medical issues and other things… they’ve been working diligently to find the right person for my wife. We’ll get there… the management has been working with me diligently to meet our needs.

It is the best one I found in the area. Care is good and film time staff care.

The quality of care and feedback provided by the attendants varied by individual. And while the hourly rate is reasonable the total fees builds quickly if the service is supplementing nursing care during business hours.

We picked this community because, it seemed like a good match for what we needed. I would recommend to others.

HomeWell met our needs and were very empathetic with me and my mom. Administration was receptive to my concerns. It was very expensive but I did not have to worry about not being there.

The quality of caregivers has been great.. The only problem is big turnover in personal. We have had 4 different caregivers in the last 2 months! It makes my wife a little confused. This is not good!!

I thought they were professional and their schedulers were accessible. They also tried to accommodate your caregiver preferences.

Dad is staying in his home with a sitter 3 x a week- so 24 hours a week. The rest is on me. We use the same sitter unless she's not available. She does a great job in her 24 hours. It's 27.00 an hour and very expensive but the sitter does a great job and we will use her as long as she is available

We need help with our brother in law. 2 4 7 has been coming in twice a week. They have been cheerful, willing and helpful. They have interacted with [name removed] , helping give him the social part of his life he needs.

This is the 3rd time I have answered this. The caretaker [name removed], is a blessing. My mother and him get along very well. She is very happy as am I. In regard to the "office' they have been on top of everything, there was a challenge once, they stepped up and took charge of it. I do not recall the exact circumstances but was reassured they knew what was necessary to remedy the challenge. Thank you

It will all depend how much care your loved ones needs. They are better at light housekeeping, or just their for company. I loved them all, and they were willing, but did not have the training or experience to do care for my Mother. I had to teach them about turning, bathing, and positioning.

I would recommend to others. Some are better than others but overall good, I have been happy.
