[name removed] passed away [date removed]. And I wanted to thank y'all for providing sitters. I liked the fact that your service provided any shift, all options like Respite care etc.

Not perfect but pretty good. 24x7 care involves three employees showing up for work every day. There is always a risk someone will call in sick. Assisting Hands has done a good job managing that. Just a handful of instances in the last year where a family member got called to bridge a gap for 1-2 hours. This is a family owned business and they are always responsive when we report a concern Mom is totally bedridden so we need caregivers to keep her clean, dry, and avoid rashes and bed soars. They’ve been able to do that. There are three primary caregivers M-F. Weekends involve a variety of fill ins. 99% are sweet and kind.

[name removed] was excellent and caring and professional. She kept in contact regularly and I really appreciated her help. The. Caregivers were professional also. Sometimes it was difficult to schedule visits due to her chemotherapy dates.

It's been very positive. They have been flexible working with us to find the most useful times. Out of the 3 regular caregivers and the 2 fill in caregivers the majority have been self starters and willing to do more than I expected. 2 did more sitting than helping.

A husband with Parkinson’s is something that changes daily. When the caregiver has a health problem you need help. The care we received from the staff of Care Advantage was outstanding. Willing to pitch in and help with whatever was needed was a blessing. The compassion they showed was wonderful. Willing to help with the personal hygiene or dirty clothes or dishes was just a ray of sunshine in our life when we needed it most. Care Advantage thank you.

The staff is caring and kind, just what our family needed. They provide professional care in a tough situation and take the load off of us. We were fortunate to find them when we did and used them right up until our loved one moved into memory care.

It was great, and a very helpful expedience. We picked this community because it was availability in Paso Robles.

I really like how convenient the service is and my Dad's caretaker is awesome. When calling the office about scheduling changes etc the staff doesn't seem familiar with the operation It would be nice if they knew who my caretaker is

The caregiver is good about taking charge. [name removed] can be difficult. He hates to be told to sit down but we need to keep him from falling. [name removed] is good about getting him up, giving him a shower and dressing him. I like having [name removed] come.

Our current care giver [name removed] appears to be a 5. We've had some issues with a couple of caregivers. We have asked for someone NOT allergic to cats but still have received people allergic to cats. I had strong politic issues about our cat being an outdoor cat and walked off one day. Another caregiver was afraid of cats to the extent she was unable to do the work. She quit after 2-3 days. She beat me to the punch and quit before I had a chance to ask for a replacement. I suspected the drama was a ruse not to do the work. All were good with cleanliness except the cat drama queen. She really refused to do any work. The staff is great, can't say enough good about [name removed]. She's a great asset to your company. Quality of care was generally good. Meals the caregivers prepare meals as instructed. Have asked for suggestions to have variety for meals. There is rarely an idea of their own as a meal. Activities Some of the caregivers give some encouragement for activities but my mom does not engage. When at assisted living she would not engage either. Value for Cost - that's difficult to measure about any company or family situation. Right at Home is [fee removed] less than some. What I did learn the ones with a higher rate did not reflect it in a higher rate for the care staff. Nor were they superior to Right at Home. Agencies with higher rates never gave me a reasonable explanation for the difference. So my assumption was greed. I just didn't see a difference in quality of care staff. All in All Right at Home provides a good service and as in any company I believe staffing is a difficult balance and especially in this industry. I would recommend Right at Home.

Occasionally they had difficulty filling a requested shift, but they were very helpfully and helping with our cleaning. The activities get a 5, especially driving [name removed] to appointments and his errands (ice cream!) We live so far away We often needed to hire long shifts to cover shorter needs

I set up Senior Helpers for my Dad following a hospitalization and rehab stay. I initially set up approx 12 hours per week and slowly decreased the hours as he improved and became more independent again. Near the end of using this service, we were only asking for about 2 hours every other week and they had difficulty staffing it because the home care workers needed more hours and the drive to/from the south Myrtle Beach area to where my Dad's house was located in North Myrtle Beach was becoming longer than the time spent at the house. The home care staff was wonderful with my Dad. They always showed up on time and completed any tasks we requested. I do not live near my Dad so their help was vital for me. The portal also helped me track the schedule and review the visits as they were taking place. I would definitely look into hiring them again if needed, but I would check about the distance issue between the Murrels Inlet office and my Dad's house.

We have had good results from our experience with Homewell.They have provided excellent, thoughtful caregivers. We have had no problems with the caregivers. The only problem we have had was a billing overcharge due to their GPS locator service not logging out a caregiver when she left following her shift.

We were very happy with the caregiver but the billing system required too much involvement between me our LTC and their accountant.

Home watch was not a good fit. We used them for one week. We were new to the process but mostly the people they sent did not meet my expectations.

It's a great service, and they're willing to work with our inconsistent schedule. Like most of these businesses, turnover is hard to stem, but MD [name removed] works hard to meet our care needs and to be consistent with the caregivers they send.

Their workers keep quitting, so they could use some staffing improvements.

What we like about Seniors Helping Seniors is that the staff is friendly and patient and we would recommend their services to other families.
