My mom's care taker is very nice, helpful and punctual. She goes to my mom's house three times a week for two hours each day and this way I get to rest on those days and not worry. The only negative is they're expensive, they're more reasonable than other companies I talked to and they didn't have minimum hours but still if my mom had to pay she couldn't afford it. I'm paying them and it's worth it for me because before finding Senior Helpers through your company I was always tired and stressed out. Senior Helpers- Escondido is a nice community of professionals helping seniors who need assistance while living at home and I would recommend them to other families in the same situation

[name removed] was a good companion. Was always pretty prompt and never failed to show up as promised. Very personable. Tried to be mindful of requests that were made. This was a respite care voucher and she freed me up to provide the respite that I needed as a caregiver.

The staffing has been good but had issues today. However based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families.

I would recommend them. They are very responsive to changes in our schedule .

What we like most about Synergy HomeCare is the coverage they provide if the regular caregiver is unexpectedly unavailable. They are quick to advise of the changes. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend their services to other families.

The good : The office staff was easy to work with & responsive. They were able to get set up quickly to get my mother-in-law the help she needed after hospitalization. They have an office in our community and each time there was a change in caregiver a member of the office staff came out to make a personal introduction to us. Most of the caregivers were willing to do whatever was needed. The not so good: although we use them for just a short time there were many changes in caregivers. We had one no-show. We had multiple times where caregiver schedules/days had to be adjusted or their visits canceled because they had a previous commitment such as vacation. I understand this is part of life but it was very stressful for my mother-in-law to have a different person coming in to help her bathe dress, etc. It made it difficult for her to develop a relationship with them since they were changing. I also also feel like the cost was very high for the work performed.

We used home care services for my loved one through Cornerstone Caregiving Sioux Falls and the overall experience was good. We used them for rides, the only complaint my loved one had was that one of the caregivers' vehicles smelled like smoke. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We used home care services through Senior Helpers of Vancouver for our loved one and the overall experience was great. The assistance that they provided for our loved one was great and we would recommend them to others.

Our first Home Health Aide, HHA, was not a good match however our r eplacement is absolutely wonderful!!! She caught abnormal behavior which ended in a trip to ED & hospitalization. Was diagnosed with pneumonia & possiwble seizure. Unfortunately he was discharged without appropriate treatment for the pneumonia, fortunately we had an appt. for 2 days after his discharge as he refused to go back to the ED when he started having difficulty breathing. Our HHA had schedule changed to accompany us to the appt where she placed him in a wheelchair while I checked him in. We were called in for triage before appt where his oxygen level registered @ 72...Rapid response team called!! We left the clinic with an oxygen tank & by the time we got home the medical supply team showed up within minutes. HHA was very familiar with what needed to be done, she's been a Godsend in helping us do what needs to be done & seeing that I have the time to do what I need to do. We are the mend & very GRATEFUL!

I think I was lucky, I'm compatible with the caregiver I have. Have used some that were not as good. As for the service, it could be better. The staff seems friendly enough.

I’m 64 years young, but unable to clean my house and being safe at the same time. I don’t know how I found Walking Angels, But they’ve been a lifesaver. Our cleaning lady is a pleasure to have in our home doing the chores I no longer can do. She comes in twice a month and doesn’t excellent job. I just told her yesterday that I appreciate everything she does, because now I can do other things that I like to do and can do. Thank you Walking Angels

We absolutely love [name removed]!! She is a dear. We were fortunate to get her right away. On the few occasions that she had to be off, they have a hard time filling her time with someone else. It’s usually easier for me to take part of a day off. Price is fair but I don’t understand why the 4 hour minimum is required if she and we agree to less time but more days. All in all it has been a good fit for us.

They were professional and cared for my Aunt. I would recommend their home care services to others looking.

They have always been able to have someone here when I called for help and I could rely on the caregiver to do the things requested for the day. The caregivers were also very caring to my Mom and once, they even reached out with info to keep me informed.

Good experience just have to make sure you explain what is needed for the one receiving the care to ensure the right caregiver is assigned. Also ensure you are contacted about the services that will be provided and when. It is an advantage if the same person is assigned to establish a relationship.

this is our first experience with Home Care and we are happy with the service

A have great service with the caregivers. Initially, there were a difficult person who was a caregiver but I “ fired “ after 3 days. Nevertheless, the current caregivers are doing a good job. Brenda

Our issue with this and other services boils down to one problem, which isn't their fault: simply not enough available steady staffing.

All in all a great service. We have like most of the caregivers and Visiting Angels has taken care of issues promptly. The only thing I wish is that I had a schedule so I could tell my mother in law who was coming when.
