It was good - no negative feedback. I think if anything just maybe clear expectations of what they need. My mom really needed cleaning but they would run one errand and then the hour would be up.

They have been very helpful when trying to find a caregiver even if I call with short notice. They try to help. I had a few miscommunications but things happen. It was nothing that caused me to leave. I still use them as needed.

The aide was very kind, helpful, and respectful. She was also very supportive, reliable, punctual, and empathetic to my Dad's feelings and his health. My father complained that he wouldn't get his bill on time and that he had to write out checks for almost two months at a time. He called the office and didn't get anywhere with that situation. The owner gave me a phone number in beginning of our journey with this company. The we're times when I called the number for support and she was nasty on the phone with my sister and with me. That is the reason I have a 3 on that ladder of the survey.

The staff was willing to adjust as in getting the right person to client's needs- as in personality traits or certain preferences.

Initially my mom required more hands on care when she first arrived back into her home following discharge from physical therapy rehab. Our female live-in caregiver was very attentive to my mom's needs. After several months my mom became more independent- able to walk with a walker, dress and shower by herself. We needed someone who could drive my mom to appointments, social engagements, etc but the only option for this was a male care-giver. My mom only felt comfortable having a female caregiver, so we chose another agency who had live-in female caregivers, who could drive. I would recommend to others. , if you need live in help and have family who can drive or if a male live in caregiver who drives is acceptable. My sister and I brought home prepared dinner meals and shopped for groceries. Included in the care provided by the agency, the caregivers were to prepare (dinner) meals for my mom from foods family members had shopped for. Both caregivers brought their own ethnic foods and prepared meals for themselves, but rarely prepared a simple dinner meal for my mom. They would set the food out for my mom that my sister and I had made for my mom. I showed the caregiver how to bake some chicken. I was disappointed that prepping meals for mom did not materialize, so our family continued to cook meals and bring over to my mom's house. There are some trade offs. The caregivers were attentive and very kind to my mom and helpful in many other ways.

So far, so good. They are dependable and have great logistics. I would recommend FirstLight Home Care to others.

The one thing I didn't care for in the beginning there were to many different care workers. They were all nice and caring but having the same caregiver all the time was most welcoming. On a whole, the caregivers did there jobs.

The intake person was very helpful. The woman that was assigned to my care was lovely, energetic, and flexible. It turns out I didn't need help as long as I thought, but they were all wonderful.

Home Instead was responsive to an immediate need for care. They thoroughly explained the process and help to set up a schedule. They responded to concerns we had about caregivers and rearranged schedules if needed.

They did an excellent job. I am not sure what they could have done better. They were prompt. I liked that they helped us by trying to get here to do the exercise for Parkinson's. They did a good job. I don't remember anything specific about them, I don't think they could have done anything better. I liked that the caregivers tried to accommodate my wife and fit in with out activities. After interviewing, they sounded like they has the staff we needed and the hours we needed. I really like the home health aides that come. We got three different ones. They are very good. They are right here to move him. They are here when I need to go places. They get him dressed and cook meals for him. One time we has an issue communication, but overwise they are very good. When

There have been a couple of things that have happened lately but its's been settled. What is really good for me is I have two days that I can go shopping and know he is being taken care of. I like that they come and shower him and help him with dressing. They make breakfast and do a lot for him. I like that they are easy to get ahold of. If there is a problem they the effort to make it better.

So far, the caregiver they have sent me, are good. They make sure to provide caregivers. There is one exceptional caregiver, but the other caregiver needs to improve her punctually. If I have a problem, they immediately take care of it. They do what I need them to do.

The workers have been good about housework, taking care of my husbands needs, willing to take him on errands using our car. Some more self-starting than others. I believe they all quit possibly because they aren't paid enough. Industry issue, I'm sure. To start, you need to make it clear what you need them to do so there are no misunderstandings later.

The staff are caregivers are so kind and really treat you like part of their family.

a few bumps with staff not showing up. However they tried to find a replacement. we had four really great women that seemed to really care about my dad and stepmom. We also had a few that really didn't make an effort to engage with my parents. Maybe they didn't know how to handle a patients with all timers. the explanation of services and flexibility in our changing situation was great. health care is so expensive but needed.

We only had caregiver who quit because she was afraid of my dog. We specifically asked all the time for caregivers that are not afraid of dogs and that are familiar with them. She also did not attend to my family member who was in another room away from the dog. This is my first with a caregiver that didn't tell me she was afraid-instead she stayed her whole shift and then let the agency know something was wrong.

[name removed] was very helpful. Our caregiver [name removed] was very kind and a great conversationalist for my wife.

Dependability of caregivers to show up when needed and scheduled. I would recommend their services to others looking.

Some caregivers were wonderful and formed great relationships with my mom. Nice balance of friendly and professional. Yes, we would recommend their services to other families.
