There was more frequent turnover than my mother-in-law was comfortable with. The caregivers were all nice and attentive but communication with the administration could be improved

We needed an in home care aide for approx 8 hours every day for around 4 weeks after my mother was released from a rehab facility after leg surgery and were referred to this company. The aides that were assigned to her were good with some showing much more initiative than others in engaging with her and often finding helpful tasks to do during periods of down time. At least 4 different aides provided care during this time. In particular, [name removed] was just outstanding! She was very professional, knowledgable, caring, friendly, often volunteered to do misc. tasks (cooking, cleaning) and was very sincere in her desire to provide excellent client care and interact with my Mom. She also provided excellent personal assistance when helping her do daily exercises, dressing, showering, etc. as my mom regained her independence and she regularly cooked/prepared nutritious meals. [name removed] made our experience with this agency a very positive one!

They have a responsive, professional manager. It met our brief needs. Friendly and professional staff.

Everyone we interacted with was professional and helpful, but it really wasn't a good fit for us. Their minimum weekly hours was really more than was necessary for us.

Staff is very friendly. We have home care, so dining experience and activities offered is not relevant. I have been able to ramp up or ramp down schedules at the drop of a hat (or fall of my mom), which is extremely important to me. One care team member is difficult to communicate with, not sure why. It takes several back and forth texts for me to figure out what she wants. I finally quit trying and asked for another caregiver who is working out fine. My mom likes all of them, I believe. Just really would rather be alone. I also am very happy we can get 3 hour shifts, though I'm now grandfathered in on that.

The community is lovely and kept up. A lot of activities. They have two full time drivers, two buses and a new town car. The staff is fantastic. The other residents are very friendly. My apt is large with a nice view. I would give it 5 stars but the food is just okay. But none of the other places I lived in had good food either. I would recommend this place.

Not all the home care staff is equal. Hopefully you find someone that stands out and you can work out the schedule to fit their and your needs

The owner [name removed] of Amada gets a 5 as he is very attentive to the needs of his clients. The billing dept gets a 4. The caregivers get a 3, as 2 were great (4,5) and others were (2,3 ) the company did try and get the caregiver we asked for, but if they were not available they had someone else show up.[name removed]was very attentive and got us another caregiver if we were not satisfied with the caregiver who showed up. [name removed] made sure we knew the schedule and who was coming to the house. The hourly cost was fine and [name removed] worked with our budget.

Staff is responsive and helpful. They are understanding and solicitous of needs of their customers. Yes, we would recommend their services to other families based on the experience

Cardinal Senior Care is faithful to always make sure someone comes to care for your loved one. One of our caregivers was in a car accident and my mother's care was not neglected for a moment. They are not the least expensive option, but they are good."

They are good but keeping the good staff members is hard. Be prepared for staff to change, there is turnover, so don't get attached. The good ones are great, some of the others are just ok, not bad, just ok

So far it has been a positive experience for my husband. Some of the ladies have heavy accents so communication can be challenging at times, especially for someone with hearing issues. They all have been friendly and caring.

Pleased with the employees and office staff. The care representative is professional and very personable.

We've appreciated how hard they've worked to find a good fit for my grandmother. And they're always willing to train, if needed someone new. But we've been with them for about three months and they've had a lot of turnover, my grandmother has had 4 different caregivers.

They very responsive and helpful. They were very helpful adjusting start times when needed due to appointments. They also were able to staff up for overnight care for my wife when I had surgery. Made things easier for me.

While at the American House, my family hired Preferred Care at Home and I was sent a [name removed], she was such a wonderful person to be with : helpful in all my daily activities, plus super talkative, she was always entertaining. She made sure I was thoroughly taken care of -best showers ever: the best. [name removed] treated me like family =not just a client and I am so grateful to have her in my life and the company she works for. I would recommend it to all my friends and family.

The staff were friendly. Caring and dependable Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

We experienced a couple last minute scheduling changes that were frustrating. Communication between the administration and the nurses could have been better.
