They've actually placed three different caregivers with my mother-in-law. The first one didn't suit my mother-in-law and the second one decided to go back to school The third one is probably for the best. My mother-in-law has dementia so it's mainly someone to be with her. The caregiver is driving her to see her husband who is in a rehab. She's helping with cooking and taking care of the house. I've met her 3 or 4 times. Sh'es very pleasant.

We needed some help for my husband after a hospitalization and a stay in rehab for a broken hip. I found the people at Senior Helpers very easy to work with. We set up a schedule, and they were extremely dependable in following through. My husband liked the caregivers and felt like he was given good care. We had used other services in the past and he was not happy with those. I would definitely use Senior Helpers again if the need arose.

It is always expensive, but the care meets our requirements. They took us shopping, walking. The staff members are personally likable and responsive to the various idiosyncrasies of their clients and patients.

My mom has a lady coming to her and it works out perfect for my mother. She comes in 3 days a week. We wanted her to cook for my mother because my mother doesn't cook for herself at all anymore. She was eating out a lot and she really wasn't eating quality foods. Now we have Tracy coming in and she is doing great. She cooks good meals and puts aside meals for the days she's not there. Mom has been really happy with her. It started out being for the meals but now she also makes sure the beds are all changed and clean and helps mom take care of her elderly pets. This has made life a lot easier for my mother. We're really glad we did it. It took me a while to get my siblings to go to Home Instead because they wanted someone who already knows mom. Finally we tried it and I'm so glad we did!

When we were researching care for my Mom, I called Right at Home for more info. I spoke to Anne in the office for a long time, she was so helpful. An owner came right to our house to go over what they do, and get us going. Selena was chosen as the caregiver for my Mom and she is awesome. She comes every weekday and there is backup when she's on vacation. The office is hands on and I would definitely suggest giving them a ring.

When you get to this point of having to find someone who is like a family member but isn't to care for your parent or loved one, it is incredibly stressful. Sorting through all the agencies, playing phone tag with anonymous people, researching the financial equations, etc. you end up feeling like there is no one out there who will care about your parent, you and who frankly will be reasonable with their fees. Ray and Carole Fitzgibbon/Synergy Homecare Seattle will save your life. They actually CARE. They put that FIRST and put everything together around that. For everything they do for families they could charge top dollar but they don't. They are just amazing with what they offer. They pick caring caregivers who are hard working, intelligent and have huge integrity. Carole will work with families on their needs, even if the scheduling or needs are complicated. Nothing seems to phase her or them. Their pricing is extremely competitive and in some cases, probably too much so (for them). Our family can't recommend them enough.

Up until this last eprson I had I would have given them a 4 but she's a 5. I think she's been coming about 8 weeks now and my mother in law loves her; that's the most important thing. She really looks forward to her visiting and it really relieves me if I can't get there during the week. The other people just didn't click well and the first person she saw left. Since we've been having her and she's consistent which is really helpful as my mother in law's memory starts to go. The communication has been pretty good, but they didn't tell me that things were changing or that one was gone, I wish they had so I could be prepared and help prepare her a little bit. I can't always rely 100% on what she says, so if they contacted me directly that would have been more helpful but I can see why they maybe couldn't have.

My expectation is that they take care of my dad and they more than take care of that. Each of the caregivers have their own little things that they do. Some of the lady's run load of laundry all of them keep the bathroom and my dad's room clean. The care is very good. My dad is always clean and dry and fed when I get home all of them make sure to say goodbye before they leave. I called and they had Andrew who is like their liaison who comes out and evaluates you parent or whoever and he happens to be a friend of my son's. So we started with them and I have stayed with them since June. The people in the office are absolutely amazing. the scheduling people are great. I call them and say I need and extra hour on this day and this day and they always take care of it. I went in to pay a bill and the owner made sure to introduce me to her husband. They are extremely thoughtful about their caring for your family member. I don't have any complaints. I have never been without a caregiver.

They were providing home care, personal assistance, grooming and a little bit of housekeeping and laundry. I just like the caliber of the people that work for them and the owner, Charles. We moved her to a board and care home so we're not using them anymore but they were very good.

I've been pretty satisfied. They've actually only sent out one caregiver for my mother and she hit it off so we've just been using the one caregiver. If, by chance, she can't come someday, provided I give them notice, they'll have someone there. That hasn't happened yet. Overall I've been pretty satisfied with the service. It's $20 an hour which, to me, I think it's reasonable but it does seem a little high. The caregiver cooks for my mom, bathes her and does some light cleaning as well. My mom likes her.

Anytime someone wants $24 an hour you kind of cringe but they're worth it, I guess. I with the price was more negotiable. I don't have them anymore because my mother in on hospice now but they were doing the daily care and companionship for her. She liked them.

When I compare this health aid to the one before, there's a big difference. The one we have now, she'll actually sit with my dad and has him write numbers or show him a picutre and have him write the word, they'll do numbers or puzzles, I've gotten him a coloring book so they'll work with that. She'll make him do some exercises, he'll be in his chair, but they'll be arm exercises and she has him walk. My house is long, so she'll have him walk from the back of the house where his recliner is up to the front door a couple of times, she'll also do laundry and make his bed. She's great, but she's had a fair amount of experience working with peopel who have dementia/Alzheimers. I'm very pleased with the man who calls me every couple of weeks to see how things are going, the nurse calls every so often to see what's going on, what we might need. I'm always here when she comes and always here when she leaves so we seem to have a good system. I like her very, very much and my father enjoys having her here. She does a lot for him but she does make him do the things he'll be able to do on his own.

My mom is 88 years old and had been a resident of Sunrise of Springfield for about two years when she took a turn for the worse. We thought we'd have to move her to a nursing home so we called A Place for Mom for recommendations. The APM rep was wonderful. She recommended we contact [removed] as she thought their services would allow my mom to stay put. She was right! [removed] responded immediately to my inquiry and sent two reps to Sunrise to meet with me and my mom. They asked, and answered, a lot of questions, provided lots of information and they were wonderful with my mom. [removed] offers many levels of service. We opted to have a caretaker to come in three days a week, from 2pm until 6pm. After our meeting was over, the [removed] reps sought out the Sunrise staff to introduce themselves and to let the staff know what to expect from the [removed] caretaker. My mom's [removed] caretaker (Mulu) is awesome! She is great with my mom and my mom loves Mulu. Our experience with A Place for Mom and [removed] has been great from the start. We are very grateful for these wonderful services and are especially happy that my mom is in good hands.

I wish that I had done a bit more investigating, i wish I had gone with an organization that would also help her with her medications. Sometimes when I'm out of town it's hard to get someone to go over and fill moms medication trays and things like that and if Comfort Keepers were able to do that as well as the other things they do-and that they do great, cleaning her house, taking her shopping, taking her to doctors appointments- that's wonderful. What they wanted me to do was rent or buy this pretty expensive medical tray where she pushes a button for her meds but it was just too expensive, so far it's worked out, thank you Lord! I was just so thrilled to find out about Comfort Keepers that I didn't realize there were other agencies. What they do for her is wonderful, they're so sweet to her and she's really bonded with this one young lady that comes to care for her. If I could add one thing I would [removed] take your time, investigate, know the agencies in your area, what they will do and what they can do before you jump.

We liked the owners of the company, they were real nice, they always had people available, they had a real nice staff. In fact, we keep in touch with one of the little girls that had to quit and it just worked out that at the time she was quitting we had to move mom over to eagles trace because she was gettin worse, so she calls up and checks in on her.

Synergy Home Care was a great company. The ladies they sent were very helpful and my mother enjoyed their company and cooking.

They're very good and very friendly. THe care is great, it's like anything else, everythings fine and I think the most important thing for families is they have to understand establishing real, relevant communication is really important. They're so willing to sit down and talk about helping my mom. The only problems I've had is customizing the care for her but they're really willing to do whatever needs to be done and they make adjustments to however my moms been feeling. What really stood out to me is that they recognize it's all a process and they're willing to go through that process. It's working out well and I think my mom has established good relationships with them, they've figured out what makes her feel good and they work to make her as independent as possible.

I like them very much. I have very good helpers and they're very friendly. The cost could be a little cheaper but it's okay. The care is good. It's been very pleasant.

The care givers really do a good job. They took the time to develop a good relationship with our loved one. They do the small things that make a world of difference, like the care giver would read novels to our loved one and that really made our loved one happy. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone seeking home care.

They would go with our loved one to lunch and things like that so that he could get out of the house. We do not live near our loved on, but it was very comforting knowing he was well cared for. They could have had a little more of an open line of communication with us but they did try to keep us as informed. Overall we were very pleased with them and would absolutely recommend them.
