My husband had a very unsuccessful first hip surgery where his femur was broken in surgery and it never healed properly. He had a second VERY successful revision surgery and the hip felt great. Unfortunately, he got a serious infection and the hip had to be removed and an antibiotic hip put in for 6-8 weeks. He cannot put ANY pressure on it. [name removed] is our helper and what a Godsend she is to my husband AND to me! She is so patient and helpful. She takes care of all of his personal hygiene needs and anything around the house. She has literally saved us and I don’t know what we would do without her! We love “[name removed]!”

This was one of the best experiences we've had. The Greensboro office has made the transition for my parents getting use to a caregiver being in and out the home has been excellent. They matched the caregiver to my parents. She goes above and beyond to give my parents what they want. She doesn't just sit around like other caregivers have previously. She takes my parents out to the farmers market, shopping, and to events. They are very pleased she has became apart of the family. The office is accommodating and will address issues quickly. I can not recommend them enough!

Compassion care is the right word for this home health care Service. My mother have Alzheimer’s disease. Making it hard for her to be home alone. I’m so happy that I was referral to this home care team. [name removed] the owner made sure she sent a caregiver that’s trustworthy and cater to all my mother's need.. We first began working with Home Instead in [date removed]. It was an emergency situation, and the office set up 24-hour care for my husband in a very short space of time. Whenever there is a doubt or question, they are very quick to respond, and also very efficient with billing and dealing with long-term care insurance issues. One caregiver, [name removed], has shown such humor, skill, reliability, forethought, efficiency, and compassion that he really stands out and has become a joy and beacon for my husband.

Wife needed Palliative care about 2 years ago and was getting spotty help with her care. Talked with case manager and she suggested Home Instead after my complaints about no one available from the other agency. Within 2 hours of that phone call with the case manager I got a call from Home Instead. We set up a meeting to go over my wife's needs and what help I needed. That was only a few days and we met. Very profesional lady came and went through everything with us both and custom fitted not just one, but 2 well experienced caregivers. Best call ever made. These ladies are a Godsend to us both. they go way above anything I would have imagined. Thank you and blessings to the whole crew

I met with the owner he is a wonderful person and knows all about helping seniors. He gave me some good advice and was able to make a decision based on my current situation rather than out of desperation. I am happy to say that if I ever need this type of service he will be the one I call.

I just recently visited my Mom and want to take the time to thank the staff of Peaceful Home Care for the continued wonderful care they are providing for my Mom. Actikare Wytheville cared for my mom. They sent a caregiver that was capable of providing care for both parents. My family appreciates what they were able to come up with. Actikare handled both of my parents and treated them like family. My mom enjoyed playing cards and bingo with [name removed] and [name removed], both were entertaining.. my dad also enjoyed being taken out to the sun room for a game of go fish.
