After moving in things started to go down hill. I'm not sure if this is due to a management change or change of ownership. I believe the community is doing the best they can. They recently hired a new chef for the community. The community also hired more housekeeping staff to assist with the residents. My loved ones recently had a increase in price for rent. The community has a self library. We went to eat several times with my loved ones, and it was very nice. The community doesn't enforce the mask mandate when going into the hallways for residents. The grounds are kept very nicely. My loved ones were able to get on the bottom floor, with a patio, and a doggie door to bring their dog with them. The community did transport the residents to the shopping centers and grocery stores prior to the pandemic.

This facility would be a 5 star, IF, it can keep staff. Let me give you the positive. GREAT STAFF, personable, positive. However, they are greatly understaffed and over worked. One person per 100 people. 30-90 mins to answer an alert from patients. Laundry service is great, house keeping good when they can reach each room before starting over again. FOOD - poor, Chicken EVERY SINGLE DAY! I will they say they try to dress the chicken differently, but CHICKEN is still CHICKEN. While the facility is an older building, it is nice. Activities are good, residents appear to be happy.

Was a little slow go with getting cleaning done but they have added another staff person so getting done more often. Otherwise, feeling pretty at home now

I toured here at Brookdale, and I thought the community was very nice. I also appreciated that when we toured, they did not have a room available for my loved one, so they referred us to another Brookdale faculty close by.

While we were touring this facility, we noticed that it is a very new facility and the décor is very modern. While on the tour, they had us try the food and it was really good. What really turned me off about the facility is that a lot of the time while we were there, you didn’t see anyone doing anything. No one was around and there weren’t a lot of activities. The staff was friendly but the community felt institutionalized. I would recommend this facility.

We had to place my mother-in-law in here for about a week for respite care and overall she had an OK stay just a few things we didn't like which was the person at the front desk kept telling people my mother-in-law wasn't there when she had visitors and even a flower delivery and that wasn't professional at all. And then the activity director was out on maternity and no one stepped up to take her place for the residents. But the staff was great with her very caring and attentive. The food was great and everything stayed clean.I also loved that snacks were available at anytime. I would still recommend this place.

When my sister stayed there her therapy was amazing. The therapist was gentle but knowledge and did such a great job. The overall staffing was very nice and kind the kitchen staff was able to accommodate my sister diet by being vegetarian they didn't make a big deal having to cook her something special they were happy to do it for her but the food was not as good as it could have been. The community was clean and maintained.

There are doing a good Job. There are in transition themselves and my mother is 90 years old and not easy to handle so under the circumstances, they are doing a great job.

The Tempe microburst did damage to the trees and roofs of the buildings. They have cut down or taken out the trees and are almost done with re roofing all the buildings so all good there. They have also planted some new trees in the complex. The laundry room is always clean and if a machine is down they usually fix within a few days. I finally checked out the exercise room. Small but a few pieces of equipment. Haven't had time to use it yet. I'm happy so far and have no intention to move at this time For recommendation: I would really like to have double pane windows or reflective screen. Work from home 2 days a week and get about an hour with the glare on my monitors. I don't think they would appreciate aluminum foil to stop the glare. Just saying it would look weird.

Very friendly and active environment. The dining g room is pitiful. The food always arrives cold and service is terrible at best.

Friendly staff. Housekeeping is adequate. Easy move-in process. Satisfactory meals. Overall, my experience at North Chandler Place has been good! I would recommend this facility to others.

Hospice was very good. The most kind person at Turlock was housekeeping. Management very stoic. I did not see one smile. No contact at all since my mom died. Except to ask for my address.

Overall we thought Turlock Residential so a pretty good job, all of the nurses and everyone were very kind ad friendly to not only our loved one but to our family as well. We thought they did a wonderful job , and we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience so far.

The day to day staff team and care givers who worked hand in hand with our loved one were fantastic as well as the kitchen staff. However when it came to the management staff it was the complete opposite. Once we were moved in we felt all alone, we felt their customer service was bad and needs to be improved - things were not answered in a timely manner. The facility itself is in need of repair as well.

I toured this community. The Assisted Living side felt a little dark.

They want the money but do not care for needy people. The in house doctor doesn't really care about her patients. I would not recommend this facility to others.

Everyone is extremely cooperative. The leadership is bad, but the people who work there are wonderful. In regards to leadership, they are inconsistent. They usually fire the good people, while keeping the bad people. They do have a variety of activities, which is what I like. They activities range from spiritual to physical and the level of quality is great as they also offer entertainment. My loved ones apartment is a studio, and its not that it isn't spacious, it's just that they never replace anything. The appliances are very old and maintenance requests are extremely timely as well. The people who work for the top people are genuinely concerned for the residents, but its just too bad that the people who run it are not.

Stay away. They brought my loved one in at one rate then after getting moved in they rose the rate about 500 dollars, They have bad communication.

They really try and sell the community to you. There are a lot of things that you pay for additionally that was presented as part of the monthly fee. It's not as good as what they made it out to be, such as cleaning and changing the linens. There has been items stolen from my loved one. The community works with hospice; however, we are relying more on hospice than the community. We thought there would be more care from the community than they provide. It would be nice to have the same the answer from all staff. Not all the staff are LVN.
